Class guiness, banging burgers and jo and jenevieve are a delight! Lovely atmosphere, always so welcoming and a great crack

Lovely Lunch, friendly staff, as always an enjoyable experience. Been a number of times either with family or the dog always feel welcome and leave happy.

What a lovely place to visit. First time having a meal here and we weren't disappointed. Food was well presented and piping hot and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Table of 6, 2 finished eating before food for other 4 came out. Bland food. Several drinks on menu not sold at the pub, eg Peroni, Stella, Fosters, Normal Coke

Amazing family run pub and restaurant. Our experience is always fantastic , from the friendliest staff , great locals , delicious food every time and really affordable. Weekly specials are a treat with a pint , saves us cooking! Can't beat the food people and beer down the Crown.

I always get a warm welcome when I pop in the crown, and the dog gets some fuss too! I would highly recommend a visit.

Amazing food and staff are really friendly and accommodating. My dog is always welcome and nothing is too much trouble. This used to be an average pub but is now somewhere I want to return to. Thank you The Crown 100% recommended and really good value for money.

This used to be a really good 2 for 1 format pub with a large dining area and great menu. It's now changed to a very different format with badly written signs informing guests that had the pub is now for 'drinkers' only. It took several minutes for a member of staff to acknowledge us. We weren't shown to a table and it was not obvious who that staff were as nobody wore any kind of uniform. The fixtures and fittings of the pub are in poor quality, carpet is threadbare. Food arrived in an acceptable time however was poorly presented, poorly prepared and on old dated plates, none of the cutlery matched. The steaks were of poor quality and not cooked to our requirements, peas were grey and cold. Nobody checked back on us. We ordered via your QR code system, there is nowhere to add voucher/discount codes. So we paid over the odds for really poor quality food and surroundings. We won't be back.

Staff is brilliant at the crown! Lovely food nice respectful place, I love how dogs are welcomed with open arms, Jo is a lovely woman always welcoming. Would recommend this place 10/10

This place is amazing wouldn’t want to go any where else great friendly staff makes you feel Wellcome every time and jo goes above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after the crown is a great family pub with lovely staff and great food deserve every star they get ‘last time visiting this pub was today Saturday. amazing team work lovely to see such happy works with such a good attitude towards their customers and love how well come they make dogs feel also if you haven’t been it’s a must you will love the place first time I came I couldn’t believe how Wellcome I felt and I left there with new friends x

Brilliant experience, Ben and Jo were absolutely brilliant friendly and attentive couldn’t have asked for more.

Food was okay. Took ages to come as they were quite busy. The reason for my low score is that they are a blue light pub, when I tried to use my discount they told me it wasn’t able to be used. They said for Mother’s Day weekend, the discount was invalid. Nothing is stated in the pub, on the blue light app and nothing was mentioned to us when we went in. What is the point of having the benefits for people with the blue light card if you don’t let people use it?

Great food nice location lovely atmosphere

Lovely meal, service excellent and a great ambience. I’m on a diet and they were more than happy to swap the chips for a jacket potato and the peas for salad.

Absolutely disgusting service took my 86 Yr old mother in law, loads of empty tables mostly with reserve signs on, and tables without apparently not allowed to eat on them. When asked a member of staff if we could sit at a table what had just been vacated and we were told yes we could sit there, but we'd have a long wait for food. Needless to say we won't be going there again. Not at all impressed with staff members who were rude and not at all helpful.

The waitress, Genevieve, was so lovely, friendly and helpful. Great meal with friends at the Crown tonight.

A pre-orderd festive meal for two to celebrate a special occasion. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our seats. The restaurant had been tastefully decorated in a hand made Christmas theme. We were immediately offered drinks and, at each course, we were asked if we preferred to wait a while or be served immediately. The food was tasty, well cooked and attractively presented. The manager and her staff were attentive and happy to chat whilst efficiently dealing with our order. We also felt that careful arrangements had been made for Covid safeguarding. Eating at the Crown has always been an enjoyable experience.

Went for a quick bite and drink and really enjoyed the experience. A neat find since i was doing a long walk in the area.

Avoid if busy called in for bite to eat hardly anyone eating female manager turn me away just because only 14 people had booked Unable to cater

Lovely atmosphere really nice food

A dear friend lost a much loved pet that day and we wanted to celebrate her, we were given a quiet table in the corner as requested. Service was kind and respectful, we had a wonderful evening and were very pleased with the food and how kind the staff were. We also noticed that the large table near us was the last to be filled which means we had a very private celebration, thank you. We will be back.

Very friendly staff. Menu offered a good selection of dishes. All food was well prepared and well presented. We all enjoyed our meals, sides and desserts. The atmosphere was pleasant and the table and surrounding area was clean.

I ran in to use the loo, so can't comment on food. Bought some nuts out of thanks for toilet use and the staff were nice and didn't tell me off haha.

I came here for my first pub quiz and It was lovely, I really enjoyed, definitely coming back! Jo is always welcoming and friendly! I love going here with my boyfriend to spend our evenings! ☺️☺️

Food not cooked well, little vegetarian choice. Drinks overpriced, Pepsi £3.40 when you can buy 2l for 99p!!

Enjoyed another very nice meal here. Lovely soup (would like the bowl to be a little larger!), a very tasty red Thai curry with an after-kick, and a great fruit crumble. A winter warming meal on a chilly day!

Honestly a perfect place to meet up with friends, enjoy a meal with family or spend some time socialising with others. Especially love how safe it feels when taking the kids or the dogs. Welcoming , friendly staff, the manager was brilliant and adapted our needs as having a child with a disability and a 6 month year old . She advised what food was available for the child as limited to what he would eat good personal service.Thank you we had a good food 😋 Thank you gir the Easter chicken.

Tasty food and friendly staff. Mum was very pleased with the option to have a smaller portion main and the apple crumble deserves an extra mention and gold star. Visited again and 5 stars throughout remains. We booked a table for 8 family members under the sad reason of assembling for our mum's/grandma's funeral. We were instantly made to feel welcome and struck up a wonderful rapport with our waitress. The food was excellent, catering for both the meat eaters and vegetarians in our group followed by amazing desserts.

Stopped here as we spotted it driving past on our way back to M5. So glad we did. A warm welcome, excellent table service, excellent food and drink, felt at home and not treated as a visitor. A very varied menu with something for everyone, and at a price that didn’t break the bank either. Will definitely stop here again when in the area

The staff are friendly and welcoming! We enjoy going here as a family or for a sneaky lunch date in the week. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great.

I was ill but they bent over backwards to help me out.

Everytime we visit we have a good experience. Staff were really lovely, and they had to deal with someone vandalising their table and both members of staff we witnessed speak with the customer dealt with it amazingly. Such a shame people working in customer service have to deal with this kind of behaviour.

This is the first time we have been out in over a year.( We had a bad experience somewhere else) we took the bullet as a family and decided we would go for Christmas dinner and it was the best decision we had made, from start to finish everything was just perfect. It was my mothers first time out for Christmas dinner (she has always wanted to go out for Christmas dinner but we couldn't justify the price at the time) this year as there's a lot of health problems going on with mother and father we decided to treat them, in my mothers own words "was the best Christmas I've ever had" she really enjoyed the experience at the crown and the turkey was just falling apart, we will definitely be back next Christmas for sure!! Personally thank the chefs as the food was delicious and our waitress as she was super attentive to our table!!!

Lovely waitress, couldn’t have been more helpful.food was hot but steaks were a bit dry and not cooked how they should be. There was a guy playing a keyboard playing Christmas songs and a women singing which was very nice , but the music was two loud and spoiled the atmosphere.

Pie was mostly pastry and undercooked. Chips ok. Rather run-down decor/furniture. I would suggest that tables require more than a spray and wipe on a regular basis to remove the build-up of sticky dirt.

Plenty of parking and a very well presented pub/restaurant. Car park was clean and tidy and the outside of the pub very welcoming. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, which was booked in advance. Drinks order was taken quickly and they were promptly delivered. Great menu choices at very reasonable prices. Our food arrived in good time, lovely and warm and tasted great. Portion sizes were good for the money. We were very impressed by our dining experience and the staff made it all the better by being so friendly and helpful.

A lovely place for families, 2nd time we have visited and it's been brilliant. Kids enjoy the meals and portions are just right and the staff are great with kids! As we were passing on the m5 today, the Crown stood in out memory as somewhere for lunch and didn't regret it!

Good food good service and reasonably priced

Popped in for a late lunch on Saturday, and managed to get a table straight away. Menu has plenty of choice, and reasonably priced. Our food arrived quickly and was very nice. Great service also. Thank you all.

Cold in conservatory not ask if meal ok whilst eating . Red sauce bottle filthy on table not that we used it table sticky . Looks like need good hygiene training

service was slow because there were only two staff present and the restaurant was quite busy, had to ask the staff for my desert however the food was wholesome and hot and the staff were pleasant, I inadvertantly left a 1* review and this is an edit of that review.

Booking was simple and easy online. Service was good not too fast. Food was delicious really.enjoyed the doner kebab and gammon dishes.

I haven't been out for food in a very long time due to Anxiety. First time out in around 8 years and it was fantastic. Lovely and quiet also which I found fabulous. Great service. Feel the menu is very samey ie. I could walk into most pubs and find v similar menu options...a more varied menu might help to differentiate you from the competition

The food was delicious...the staff were friendly...one item of food didn't arrive...she didn't write it down tried to remember everything....and the toilets absolutely stank...

Dropped in for a meal on the way to Worcester, so glad we did. Made to feel welcome immediately, staff could not do enough to make our visit pleasant. The drinks were excellent and good value and the meal was perfect, portions were generous. We will be returning again.

Desperate for food at 3pm and got full menu and excellent service including chocolate fudge cake (not sold out!) - happy to go there again any time!

Steak was more gristle than steak

We just poped in for a drink. Disappointing. This place is obviously not interested in the outdoor trade. Garden area very disappointing. Much nicer places to go on a nice sunny day.
