Excellent service great pub grub !

Lovely friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Absolutely love the monthly quiz nights and all the staff are forever welcoming. Honestly a perfect place to meet up with friends, enjoy a meal with family or spend some time socialising with others. Especially love how safe it feels when taking the kids or the dogs. Thank you so much!

I came here for my first pub quiz and It was lovely, I really enjoyed, definitely coming back! Jo is always welcoming and friendly! I love going here with my boyfriend to spend our evenings! ☺️☺️

Food not cooked well, little vegetarian choice. Drinks overpriced, Pepsi £3.40 when you can buy 2l for 99p!!

Enjoyed another very nice meal here. Lovely soup (would like the bowl to be a little larger!), a very tasty red Thai curry with an after-kick, and a great fruit crumble. A winter warming meal on a chilly day!

Not enough chips, I was still Hungary, the food costs alot and the portions are getting smaller.

Welcoming , friendly staff, the manager was brilliant and adapted our needs as having a child with a disability and a 6 month year old . She advised what food was available for the child as limited to what he would eat good personal service.Thank you we had a good food 😋 Thank you gir the Easter chicken.

Tasty food and friendly staff. Mum was very pleased with the option to have a smaller portion main and the apple crumble deserves an extra mention and gold star. Visited again and 5 stars throughout remains. We booked a table for 8 family members under the sad reason of assembling for our mum's/grandma's funeral. We were instantly made to feel welcome and struck up a wonderful rapport with our waitress. The food was excellent, catering for both the meat eaters and vegetarians in our group followed by amazing desserts.

Stopped here as we spotted it driving past on our way back to M5. So glad we did. A warm welcome, excellent table service, excellent food and drink, felt at home and not treated as a visitor. A very varied menu with something for everyone, and at a price that didn’t break the bank either. Will definitely stop here again when in the area

The staff are friendly and welcoming! We enjoy going here as a family or for a sneaky lunch date in the week. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great.

I was ill but they bent over backwards to help me out.

Everytime we visit we have a good experience. Staff were really lovely, and they had to deal with someone vandalising their table and both members of staff we witnessed speak with the customer dealt with it amazingly. Such a shame people working in customer service have to deal with this kind of behaviour.

This is the first time we have been out in over a year.( We had a bad experience somewhere else) we took the bullet as a family and decided we would go for Christmas dinner and it was the best decision we had made, from start to finish everything was just perfect. It was my mothers first time out for Christmas dinner (she has always wanted to go out for Christmas dinner but we couldn't justify the price at the time) this year as there's a lot of health problems going on with mother and father we decided to treat them, in my mothers own words "was the best Christmas I've ever had" she really enjoyed the experience at the crown and the turkey was just falling apart, we will definitely be back next Christmas for sure!! Personally thank the chefs as the food was delicious and our waitress as she was super attentive to our table!!!

Lovely waitress, couldn’t have been more helpful.food was hot but steaks were a bit dry and not cooked how they should be. There was a guy playing a keyboard playing Christmas songs and a women singing which was very nice , but the music was two loud and spoiled the atmosphere.

Pie was mostly pastry and undercooked. Chips ok. Rather run-down decor/furniture. I would suggest that tables require more than a spray and wipe on a regular basis to remove the build-up of sticky dirt.

Plenty of parking and a very well presented pub/restaurant. Car park was clean and tidy and the outside of the pub very welcoming. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, which was booked in advance. Drinks order was taken quickly and they were promptly delivered. Great menu choices at very reasonable prices. Our food arrived in good time, lovely and warm and tasted great. Portion sizes were good for the money. We were very impressed by our dining experience and the staff made it all the better by being so friendly and helpful.

A lovely place for families, 2nd time we have visited and it's been brilliant. Kids enjoy the meals and portions are just right and the staff are great with kids! As we were passing on the m5 today, the Crown stood in out memory as somewhere for lunch and didn't regret it!

Good food good service and reasonably priced

Popped in for a late lunch on Saturday, and managed to get a table straight away. Menu has plenty of choice, and reasonably priced. Our food arrived quickly and was very nice. Great service also. Thank you all.

Cold in conservatory not ask if meal ok whilst eating . Red sauce bottle filthy on table not that we used it table sticky . Looks like need good hygiene training

service was slow because there were only two staff present and the restaurant was quite busy, had to ask the staff for my desert however the food was wholesome and hot and the staff were pleasant, I inadvertantly left a 1* review and this is an edit of that review.

Booking was simple and easy online. Service was good not too fast. Food was delicious really.enjoyed the doner kebab and gammon dishes.

Great service. Feel the menu is very samey ie. I could walk into most pubs and find v similar menu options...a more varied menu might help to differentiate you from the competition

I haven't been out for food in a very long time due to Anxiety. First time out in around 8 years and it was fantastic. Lovely and quiet also which I found fabulous. The food was beautiful and very pleased that I didn't have to pay for my water. Lovely pub and very friendly people. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone 👍 Thank you.

Dropped in for a meal on the way to Worcester, so glad we did. Made to feel welcome immediately, staff could not do enough to make our visit pleasant. The drinks were excellent and good value and the meal was perfect, portions were generous. We will be returning again.

Desperate for food at 3pm and got full menu and excellent service including chocolate fudge cake (not sold out!) - happy to go there again any time!

Steak was more gristle than steak

We just poped in for a drink. Disappointing. This place is obviously not interested in the outdoor trade. Garden area very disappointing. Much nicer places to go on a nice sunny day.

Well I won’t be returning here staff don’t no how to smile door wasn’t even open the food wasn’t great and the pudding was even worse ordered fudge cake warm with ice cream it came out burnt !!!! Politely returned it and asked for it to be changed for it to come back there you go no oh here we are sorry about that nothing , customer service skills zero if you can’t be polite to customers your in the wrong job . The pudding came back cold !!!! Oh and to add the place is dirty !!!!

Me and my family went to the crown for a Sunday lunch, the pub has a welcoming atmosphere, the management and staff I found to be very friendly, and helpful children and dogs 🐕 very welcome, the Sunday lunch was extremely good, home made roast potatoes always a positive for me, my son loved the little play area out front, we will definitely 100% be going back, thankyou to the management and staff, for making us feel welcome xxx

Waited to be welcomed, stood for 10mins, totally ignored. 4 adults and a child for food and drinks. Went to the Harvester, great service, won’t be returning to the crown, don’t want the business.

Lovely service from all staff encountered. We had people stuck in traffic so happy to delay arrival by half hour when phoned. Accommodating of GF diet and felt confident meal was prepared safely. Helped with surprise bringing birthday cake out as well as keeping it cool on hottest day of year. We were also allowed to decorate area before birthday girls arrival. Food was well received by everyone, freshly cooked , enjoyable and we were not rushed. Lovely evening a;; round and will be returning again.

Took my mother in law for a birthday meal for her 80th, wonderful calm atmosphere great food and the best hosts, even being kind enough to take a family photograph.Can't recommend highly enough.

Popped in for dinner last night. Had a gorgeous meal served by Sam and Poppy who were really friendly and welcoming. Food was great and well priced. We will definitely be back

Employees were super friendly and lovely but food wasn't great. Some of my chips were old and chewy and my partner's burger pattys were hard. The place needs a revamp but that always seems the case with these places

Service in general good. Both Roast dinners were terrible. Clearly reheated. Dry and chewy turkey, hard roast potatoes. Cold veg. No pigs in blankets which we weren’t told at time of ordering. When we questioned he said they had ran out.

Awful service. Cold food, then the chips arrived cold again after replacement, told them again and took over 10 minutes to bring out whilst my other food was going cold. Would not recommend staff were polite but the service is not.

Can't fault this place. Great food and good service

New chef called Ricky aswell as new management. Food was lovely! Best meal we've had here in a very long time. Onion rings also tasted the best I've ever had. Steaks were cooked well and very tasty. Positive comments were made to the chef on our visit.

Our server was really friendly and really helpful. A positive experience from start to finish. The NGCI menu was really extensive with loads of amazing choices for desserts which was wonderful. The toilets were clean. A lovely evening!

Read reviews and they all seemed the place had improved, unfortunately it hasn't. The place looks dark, dirty and run down. The only Sunday lunch option was turkey or vegetarian. Husband ordered steak medium/rare, it was overcooked. Rest of the food order was average. Would give it a miss in future.

A dear friend lost a much loved pet that day and we wanted to celebrate her, we were given a quiet table in the corner as requested. Service was kind and respectful, we had a wonderful evening and were very pleased with the food and how kind the staff were. We also noticed that the large table near us was the last to be filled which means we had a very private celebration, thank you. We will be back.

Called in this pub for tea as we we're in malverne overnight for the flower show. The pub wasn't busy but it was pleasant. The chap behind the bar was lovely. He had excellent customer service skills. Very polite and attentive. The food was nice. We both ordered a kebab, mine was chicken and my friend ordered doner kebab. Both were really nice and well presented and plentiful. We had a nice pleasant evening.

Booked for four for Sunday dinner after reading the ok latest very positive reviews, what a let down.Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that the only choice available was Turkey or Vegetarian, not great, anyway decided against a roast and ordered from the menu, I ordered 8oz steak, medium rare, it duly arrived, was very tough and overcooked. Not great, ended up swapping for scampi, very underwhelmed with quality of the food with peas so hard that you could have fired from a gun. Very poor will not be going back.
