Plenty of home cooked food on menu. Also home made cake. Sweet cones for the children, and a nice warming fire

and that’s not a criticism. This is what a pub should be. Good beer, friendly staff, great beer garden and simple well cooked pub food. So many pubs these days pretend to be something they’re not. This place is a proper pub and all the better for it. I wish it was my local.

Old world country pub with plesant and welcoming staff ,warm roomy and comfortable accomodation with good breakfast included in the overall room rate. Ideal location paticularly if visiting family/friends in the area.

EastcheapDavid's Bookshop is so much more than a book shop. As well as books they also have a music shop where you can by new and second hand CD's and vinyl. They also have a coffee shop where you can get drinks and snacks. It's a really nice place to have a mooch about looking for books and music and then once you have completed your purchase then you can pay for it and get a drink to treat yourself for your new purchases. The prices of the drinks and snacks are very reasonable so it is the perfect place to visit.
