and that’s not a criticism. This is what a pub should be. Good beer, friendly staff, great beer garden and simple well cooked pub food. So many pubs these days pretend to be something they’re not. This place is a proper pub and all the better for it. I wish it was my local.

Old world country pub with plesant and welcoming staff ,warm roomy and comfortable accomodation with good breakfast included in the overall room rate. Ideal location paticularly if visiting family/friends in the area.

It was tasty and the best part was the chilli sauce as it was actually spicy. Very fresh and good value for money. It was a collection so I didn’t spend long in the shop but staff seemed helpful. I would go back for sure.
