Sounds nice, might try it some time.

Easily the best chippy in town. Fish cooked fresh on request, chips bang on and proper old fashioned mushy peas. Homemade pies look good and delicious onion rings. We sit and eat ours unwrapped in the van for the wifes treat 😁 A must try 👌

I had received several positive recommendations regarding this chip shop, which convinced me to try it for myself. It lived up to expectations. Upon entering the establishment, the courteous staff greeted me with a warm welcome. The shop was clean and orderly, featuring a straightforward menu that listed traditional chip shop fare. I found the curry sauce delicious and slightly spicy. The fish was fresh and prepared upon request. The onion rings were notably large and coated in a generous coating of light batter. How fish n chips used to taste.....simple ingredients but cooked traditionally Love every mouthful....

Fab place, well run and spotless.. Food is super fresh, fish delivered daily.. Pie dinners are amazing and prices are so cheap, too cheap tbh.. staff are lovely and helpful.. Community need too support this small family run business as much as possible.. owner works very hard too provide these excellent services

This chippy is the cheapest around by far, chips,fish,peas and a canned drink for under 4 pound, also lovely plate pies, steak and gravy. very clean and popular chippy.

great tasting fish and chips, you can also get a split and small fish for less than 4 pound, great value and we wouldnt so anywhere else, you get lots and much cheaper, nicer people than chipmunk.

This wonderful chippy is back open again and the foods is as good as it's ever been The system is three in at any one time but this is not a problem as this chippy is the quickest serving chippy I've ever been in as the staff are very efficient. Thanks you've been missed

Excellent traditional English chip shop, one of the best, in the area, my family have been going here for years, only opens dinner and teatimes..

Go to this Chippy every Friday,read the other review and i,am very suprised,each to their own,but i have NEVER had a bad meal,when they are closed for holidays,i,am besides myself to find better,very glad when they reopen ,the amount of punters that they get on a Friday is testiment of how good they are.With regard to places locally,i have yet to find one.Good value,good portions,nuff said.

the cod was proper rank and it made me poo flakey like the sorry excuse for "batter" they dish up daily. shut it down and burn the place to the ground!

Great chippy, best around. (CAN'T BELEAVE BAD REVIEW FORM robertbloke) no way ever would they serve yesterday food warmed up. Me and my family have been going there for years and NOT ONCE have we not bean fully satisfied. Staff are lovely friendly.my blind 82 year old mum looks forward to there fish and peas twice a week.....look at the 2 great meal we had today..

Wonderful chip shop! Just wish they were open a little more of the time. Very limited opening hours so you can quite often arrive there and they are closed. Fish is lovely and tasty there, would highly recommend.
