Best fish and chips I've had for a long time.

Bought some chips today and I throw more away then eaten thet were either green or got loads of eyes in them. Not usually like that

This is not my local chippy but when in the area i have used this place, traditional fish & chips good value for money, will definitely return in the future.

Sadly the man who served our dinner moved the dirty door matt with his hands and DID NOT wash them before serving our fish and chips. Yack!

Witnessed one of the main workers from behind the counter move the filthy door matt, that each customer walks across as they enter, with his bare hands, then return straight to serving food. Yack! But food IS great and service IS faultless. Shame hygiene isn't propriety!

Been using this place a few weeks now it's become a Thursday night ritual, staff here are very friendly and welcoming food is always good

Overcooked donner kabab, fish was rock solid and chicken piece was dry.. 3rd time at my local and all 3 times has been terrible. Won’t be visiting again.

Great to see Cranes Park Fish Bar back open after a recent fire accident along the set of shops. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Ordered a Large Mix Kebab and Chips and was so good. Portion was huge and not greasy at all. Proper Tasty and Great value for money. Best Chippy in Sheldon and surrounding areas. The staff are all great and friendly too. My go to Chip Shop!!

Forgot part of my order many times then have to argue to get my food that's missing. Food is tasty tho

Ordered food which I was to collect at a certain time. On arrival it wasn’t ready. The server stating she only had one pair of hands. 5 servers in there. Don’t say it will be ready if you can’t commit. Really rude attitude

Just had my 1st Donner kebab from the recently opened chippy, I found the staff friendly and the genuinely seemed happy to be there, kebab was big enough and tasted exactly like it should and a decent price, easy 5 stars for now, now just keep it up 😁

Gonna down hill since being rebuilt, use to be so nice don’t know what happened. Wouldn’t eat from there again!

Fantastic food and good service

Monday 17/4/2023 approximately at 18-40 pm. I asked for a freshly cooked piece of fish, the assistant said the ones in the cabinet had just come out, I must say if they had just come out they must have been overcooked. The fish was mushy in fact, not nice at all, the chips were o.k. but nothing special, quantity for money was poor value. I shan't be going there again, I will continue going to the Sheldon fish bar on the Coventry Road where when you ask for fresh cooked Maria the lady there goes and gets a fresh fish and cooks it while you wait, also her batter is also much better. THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS AROUND HERE. Well worth patronising, leaves the Cranes Park Crew in the shade.

Good food but prices on Google maps need updating

Just opened yesterday had it today and everything tasted amazing and everyone was polite lovely place will be going back . I had fish and chips great porting

Ordered delivery... asked for Jumbo sausage and chips and fish chips with mushy peas... instead of getting jumbo sausage I got battered which my daughter doesn't like yet when told chippy of the mistake it wasn't corrected :/

Cod was good tonight, especially the crispiness of the batter. Chips were the best I’ve had in a while. Curry sauce spot on also. Keep up the good work.

Waited for a few mins for 2 pieces of cod in batter to be cooked, best I've had for years!! Good firm pieces of fish very fresh!!

Lovely food cooked fresh to order and reasonably priced

Food is always freshly prepared and of high quality. Noticeably long queues during busy periods show how much this place is appreciated by locals. Delivery service on UberEats provides same level of service, they prepare it out the back and keep it hot until driver collects.

It's okay for a chippy. Problem I had is that although they list themselves in the AMEX website as taking card they refused to saying their machine was broke. All this whilst brandishing the card machine in my face which was lit up in all its glory. I've no problem with places not taking card payment, as archaic as it is, but draw the line at them lying to bring in customers.
