Chris was a brilliant host food was great

Such a lovely place to relax, Chris from the pub side he is always smiling and laughing great person, plus all the waitresses are fantastic as well. Hotel side staff Mark the manager and Tracy are fantastic nothing to much problem at this hotel is relaxing and comfortable and the prices are good. We will defo be back here.

Absolutely disgusting as a family of 5 two adults 3 children waited hour half for food if was busy I’d understand but it was completely dead food came out full of grease steak under cooked when asked to be well done as pregnant waste of £80 won’t be returning anytime soon

Food is what we came for and food is what we got!! Fantastic roast.. lamb a little tough! But it was tasty ..Rich thick gravy .. lovely buttery mash.. really got stuck in. Took my mom as we were off to the theatre. My mum has dementia and won't eat.. but she sure ate that up! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

food quality/portions don't match the price, other than that it's nice inside for a drink perhaps. staff were alright tbf but it's nothing special in my opinion

We booked a two night stay with two children aged 5 and 6. We understand this Hotel/restaurant has recently been taken over. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room was full of bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits etc which were topped up after one night and we had a welcome letter in our room which was a nice touch. Our children had taken teddies and when we came back to the room on the second day the hotel staff and placed them on the beds (which went down a treat with the kids) breakfast was delicious and Gary was fantastic both mornings he couldnt do enough for you and was really welcoming. We went to the restaurant both nights for drink/food. We found the staff to be very friendly and some talked to us and the kids in the restaurant. This feels like a proper family run pub not your usual chain hotel/restaurant. We just wish we could have stayed longer! They mention about having a refurb soon but we found the place to be perfect and it can only get better. You are about a 5 min drive to Llandudno if that! Perfect location and perfect hosts. They are also very child friendly!

The staff was inherited from brewers fayre! Most are are exceptable but they still have one who seems to act as a assistant manager but considers wearing t- shirts and un ironed shirts as acceptable to the hospitality industry!

Although the food was really nice. The menu did not state an extra price for the lamb shanks which was an extra £8. The manager agreed this should’ve been made clear but made no attempt to offer any compensation. Very disappointing and we will not be going again.

Lovely place .. can't wait for the refurb .. staff very polite and helpful. Great customer service . Staff member even called us while we were on route asking if we would like a table booked in their restaurant. Pub food was hot and big potions .. recommend the large fish and chips . Ideal location and lovely views of Llandudno .. highly recommend and definitely will return on our yearly visit .

2 for 1 till 4pm, who.eats at that time, was 6pm- gone downhill since taken over by JWL.

I want to give special thanks to the young man Chris who served our table, so attentive, gave EXCELLENT service and made my birthday a real treat 😊 gammon was lovely and dessert was beautiful 🤩

Appalling service. Got way overcharged because they didnt put the order through!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!! Disgusting attitude by rude staff!!

Took advantage of their lunch deal. Team were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cheeseburger was spot on, really tasty fishcakes and proper onion rings.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating for our staffy bruce! :D The food was phenomenal for the pricepoint and we enjoyed every bite. Me, my partner and bruce really enjoyed our time here and our food so much.

We visited on the last week Brewers Fayre operated the restaurant. Its been taken over by JW Lees, will visit it again once the takeover is settled

Items not as ordered. One meal did not arrive until the rest of us had finished ours. Only one person trying to manage service point and deal with drinks coffee etc. No tartar sauce for fish and no custard for the deserts. Quality of food was good otherwise

Ordered fish and chips, on menu with tartare sauce. No tartare sauce, they'd run out. Ordered bread and butter, was provided with bread and sunflower oil spread!! Fish was lovely. Speaking to staff, under new management and stocks running low!! To be fair we were offered free desserts or a free drink, however we were both full and had just fetched our final drink from the bar. Planned to come here for breakfast tomorrow as we're staying nearby but won't now!! So disappointed. Staff were lovely, not their fault although very busy and staff rushed off their feet. Should have told customers when ordering of long wait times and missing items from meals.

Not sure what's happened here , it used to be nice but it's gone downhill I'm afraid. Lad serving was so slow and never even returned with ketchup that was requested.

Had to go and find cash machine because card readers not working. No choice of veg, peas or peas

Overall really happy experience. Staff were great, helpful and food was good. However make sure you use the correct table number when ordering, some have 2 which is confusing. Use the one next to the menus, there has been an attempt to 'file' off the numbers. They really need to be removed.

Lovely pub on hill with stunning view over to the sea. Sat outside for food just watching out for the seagulls!

We came here for a late lunch early dinner after a day on the beach. Food was dreadful. Sour cream with the starter was curdled. The mash with my daughters meal, you could have bounced off the floor. Sauces that came looked as I'd they had come from macdonalds. We won't be back.

Amazing place for food and drink and our experience this time was just as good as every other time we have visited. The Staff here are friendly and helpful the pub was nice and clean. We will be visiting here again and I always recommend people visit.

Booked a table for 5pm and arrived bursting for the toilet and hungry for some good grub. First let down - the toilets were horrendous. The mens toilet seemed to be bathed with stale urine - there was a 'cleaning in progress' warning sign on the floor so, we used the disabled loos instead. Well we were there for over 2 hours and there was no cleaning at any point - and the toilets were as pungent and swill puddled when we left. Unfortunately the service did not compensate. After a 40 minute wait for food (we had been told it was 30 minute wait) I checked on our starters. A few minutes later a waitress came over to apologise that the orders had not been processed properly so we ordered again with her. A while later another waitress came over very apologetic to say that she needed to take our order again as the first waitress had gone home. I don't know how long we had been waiting by the time the food came, when it did only 1 of 4 meals came as described in the menu. We did manage to chase up the missing cheeses, coleslaws, salads etc. fairly quickly though thanks to the hussle of an embarrassed but helpful waitress. In lieu of taking any personal responsibility, the manager sent over a waitress to offer us free dessert. Disappointed to not get a personal apology, I'd hoped perhaps they were attending to the urine pool, but as mentioned already, sadly not. The sticky toffee pudding wasn't great, tho the triple choc brownie was ok. Good luck to the staff who have to be on the front line of that mess of a place.

This place was great! In the morning, they serve an unlimited breakfast, with continental and English breakfast. There was so much on offer! The bakery section was lovely, there was also cereal and drinks which were very nice too. The MEATY breakfast was good too! The only fault with it was that there was egg shell in the scrambled egg. So, for 1 adult and two children, and everyone gets an unlimited breakfast, it was £10.99! Bargain!

Three nights in a row when we were on our holiday, All very good especially compared to some much more expensive places in llandudno Added bonus Always nice when you get to sing along to retro TV ads with the manager "It's called toy 'r' us"

I ordered smother chicken very dissatisfied just a piece of chicken and a few chips no salad it was bland and boring not even offered extra sauce

Called in on Tuesday at 5.30pm , ordered scampi, chips and peas . Fish chips and peas . Absolutely spot on , we really enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be back next week 👍

Great food, we went on a grills from £8.99* night so I had the smothered platter but my partner had the trio of pies. Consistent with other brewers and lovely meal. The drinks however are a bit of a mystery. They have a drinks menu on every table but when you go to the bar say and ask for Carling as they show this as a draft they offer on the menu you get advised they don't do that nor a few overs as the menus are a company wide menu (standard) and it doesn't apply to all resturants in the UK so offer completely different pints to what is displayed in the table menus. Then had a brownie was vanilla ice cream as dessert. Very happy and would come in again for food when in the area.

Cheap and cheerful fayre, couldn't find anything to criticise if I'm honest other than the pint of Doom Bar wasn't the best I've had. Good food at a reasonable price in a clean environment.

Me and partner visited this place on Sunday 22nd June, I had the turkey roast with extra cauliflower and cheese and my partner had the fish and chips, as always no complaints food was lovely, staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, they checked the food was too out liking 5* like always

Great service by Chris,Gary,Lee, Amanda & ALL the staff. Great food, very good value for money!. Breakfast with kids, brilliant, fantastic choice,FREE for kids, can't fault it!!!!.

As usual great place to eat, Chris, Gary and the rest of the team do a great job. You cannot beat the prices, the steak meals are better than lots of higher priced locations. We will be eating again soon and have already booked a table.

The food was delicious, hot and served quickly.

Ordered the meals they took half an hour to come the gammon was not as described cooked until golden it was pale and limp ,a stuffing ball was mushy the meal had been left under a heat lamp as it was nearly dry,the food was tasteless , my partner ordered the mix grill again it must have been sitting under a heat lamp as the chips had dried and his gammon was missing.The girl taking the order clearly wasn't listening as we had to repeat it several times.

Poor all round. It was my second time using this brewers fayre. ( we came 5 years ago) Nothing has changed just generally poor in all areas. dont waste your money there is another brewers fayre not far away (Afon conwy) great food and staff. will never use here again.

My wife was not happy with her meal. When we mentioned it, the response was the manager would be informed!!

Had a meal here on Friday 24th May with my wife and her mother. Sat at table which looked clean but was very sticky, menus were sticky also. We found the ladies and disabled toilets to be dirty. We ordered 3 different meals and 3 hot drinks. The drinks were okay for the price but the meals were tasteless. I noticed finger prints all around my plate which was quite off putting, I had about 3/4 mouthful’s but couldn’t eat any more. My wife and her mother ate about half of theirs before they gave up. The bread that we ordered for one of the meals arrived just as we had finished eating. This was also inedible as it was hard, obviously left out too long near something hot. The whole experience was very disappointing we couldn’t get out of this restaurant quick enough and has put us off using Brewers Fayre again. Better going elsewhere and paying that bit extra.

Me and my partner had the Sunday lunch. Everything was proper dried out and not enough gravy . Daughter had Gammon steak chips peas and egg. Chips were solid and she couldn't eat it.

Another tasty meal and quick friendly service. Great views of the side of the Little Orme too.

First time at the craigside inn. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Our meals was lovely. I had the mixed grill & my partner got chicken and ribs combo. Then caramel apple betty..Would definitely recommend.

We came here a year ago absolutely lovely food. Hence why we chose to return. However it has gone down hill massively! We sat down the table was extremely sticky as were the menus. The napkins we're literally stuck to the table. Our meals came very disappointing sour cream had turned, salad was brown and clearly not fresh. The veg sticks were dry and also not fresh. Staff could hear our comments and passed by the table on several occasions making it very uncomfortable. Will not be returning. Not worth the money. Do not recommend.

There were 36 of us from the Abergele Stroke club & the service & food was excellent. The staff were so friendly & accommodating . There was amble room for wheelchair etc. Certainly will go again

Not a great experiance...only Madri and Stella at bar ? Ordered large sunday beef lunch..And recieved a regular.Had to ingorm derver of this and was rectified.Beef i admit was lovely however every other item was dry as a bone and with minimum gravy was dry and not very appetising.!

A beautiful building opposite the Little Orme with interesting walks all around the area. Free parking. Free WiFi. The staff I met, were welcoming & helpful. I found it confusing how to order food. You have to find a table, then queue at the bar & pay for any drinks. Take drinks to your table. Then choose from the menu, return to the queue at the bar, order food & pay. 15-20 minutes later a waiter brings food. I had Sunday lunch. Choice of Beef, Turkey, Pork. It was good value at £10.95. However it was quantity over quality. The turkey tasted of cardboard & the little pot of cranberry jelly & jug of gravy did not improve the taste or texture. The vegetables were a pleasant surprise; a huge Yorkshire pudding wasn’t. It made me question how much is cooked on the premises & how much is reheated, ready prepared food. With no general waiter hovering, if you want anything you have to get in a queue at the bar again. Nice location though.

The food was served hot and quick. Service at the bar by Christopher was quick and friendly.

Food did not arrive - questioned this and food came immediately- it was cold and clearly had been sitting for a while. Lee apologised, made fresh food and could not have been more attentive. Food was lovely, fresh and hot. Complimentary dessert given - well done we will be back! 😊

Took some friends who were visiting us for breakfast on Monday 1st April. We were met at the door and shown to our table. Everyone seemed crammed into one small space when there were plenty of seats available. Paid for the full breakfast. We helped ourselves to fruit etc. Had to put some of the glass dishes on one side as they were dirty but no staff to mention it to. Ordered our cooked breakfast which came as ordered. 3 out of the 4 were lukewarm. The sausages were only just cooked and we couldn't eat the skins. Bacon also only just cooked. Everything was very rushed. There seemed to be two members of staff only rushing about. Hospitality needs more staff for it to be a better experience. Two people can't possibley manage the door, take food orders, replenish the tea, coffee etc, bring food out, clear the tables. Hospitality has declined dramatically in Llandudno as in many other parts of the UK which is very sad as it is a destination many people from all over the world love to visit. We have been to the Criagside many times for lunch and evening meals. Unfortunately we won't be returning for breakfast. Sorry Brewers Fayre. We could only rate you 3 stars this time although the staff were rushed off their feet. Get more staff and make it a better experience for everyone.

We go here most mornings when we camp in the area. The staff are always so helpful, the food is plentiful and lots to choose from. The restaurant is spotless. There is never any rush to leave which is great on a cold wet day. Excellent value fir money as kids eat free at breakfast time with 1 paying adult. Highly recommend

Had a nice Sunday lunch on our arrival at the attached Premier Inn followed by a few drinks. The bar is well stocked with Abbot Ale and Doombar on draft. Both the food and drink offered great value for money. Service was professional and the staff were very friendly and chatty. Visited every night of our stay.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, food arrived super quick and piping hot, good value and very tasty, would recomend the big stack burger and the chicken and ham pie, finished off with the creme egg sundae. Have visited here before and have never been disappointed.

Went for a meal today with the family really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. One of the staff called Chris was an absolute legend such a lovely and funny guy made the whole experience 100% better.

Can't fault it really, no, it's not upmarket or smart, but it is value for money. Goid, tasty food, quick service, great value

Awful service. Table booked for 12.30. When ordering big queue. Waited 40 mins for the starters. Then about 20 mins for the main. Roast lacking different vegetables. No brocolli! My daughter had a vegan dinner which was tiny. Very disappointed.

Went to Craigside inn for a pre 50th birthday meal - the staff were amazing!! must give a shout out to Will Zach Neil Megan and Jayden - the food was great and well worth the wait - they even went out of their way to write me a birthday card and also gave me a box of chocolate 🥰 such a nice gesture thank you the Jones’s and Redfearn’s

Its nothing fancy bit like Wetherspoons pubs & food can be nice think it depends on time of day or rushed off there feet i got fish chips & mushy peas asked for it lightly battered it was well done which made fish dry inside & greasy but went last night ordered the extra size fish to be lightly done it was perfect cooked & a meaty piece of fish chips was nice no complaints from me or my tummy lol

13 Feb 23 - early evening, very busy due to being half-term, however table immediately available and only a short wait after ordering food for it to arrive. Nice change to receive hot food on a hot plate! 29 Nov 22 - arrived lunch time. Very busy with customers generally being of an older generation. Probably due to cheaper deals.
