Great quiz night on Thursdays, be there at 8:30pm for a 9 o'clock start.

One of the most friendly pubs in Bromsgrove. Great beer, lovely staff ..what else do you need.

It's a great pub to meet friends in (no loud music, plenty of places to sit etc) They don't really do food beyond eg baps and chips.

I had my dad's wake here. The place is very friendly and welcoming. The landlord and his partner are both really lovely. They even supplied the buffet and music. If you're looking for a nice little pub to spend the evening, this place should be at the top of your list.

The Crabmill is a fine pub at the northerly end of Bromsgrove. The service is good. The pub sells real ales, such as HPA. There is a small beer garden. Sports are shown on the internal screens.

Andy and his team have done a fantastic job of making the whole experience safe and enjoyable. The booking system is slick and well organised and the staff make sure your drinks do not run dry, excellent table service with a smile. Well done to all, you should be very proud.

It's lovely and clean with very modern furniture. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, just so kind. A great atmosphere and a good variety of drinks.

I visited with 3 friends one who lives locally. The landlord was welcoming but we made the mistake of visiting on a saturday afternoon when there was a Villa Game being televised. This is a sports pub so we thought we would break with tradition and stay and watch the game. The football fans arrived in their droves and the place was so packed no one could move anywhere. The main viewing screen was in the part of the bar where the toilets were so to get to the loo you had to walk through a crowd of beer swilling layabouts who danced and jumped up and down with full pints of lager spilling it and sloshing it over everyone. No one would let you walk past to go to the toilet or outside even if politely asked to excuse me. Crisps were £1 a packet and the beer was nearly £4 a pint. Wont go again as there are better pubs in bromsgrove

Ideal place for a quick bevvy and meet up with friends. Close to the bus routes and near the train station, accessibile for all. The only down side is that it needs a bit of modernising and for the taff to be a bit quicker at serving. Other than that, polite friendly warming atmosphere.

Brilliant pub! Sociable atmosphere, fantastic selection of music (I attended on a 90's themed evening) relatively cheap drinks, great for a game of billiards.

This pub has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good, if a little expensive, drinks. There are pub quizzes held every Thursday at 9pm that are open to newcomers though I suggest you get there early of you want a place to sit.

Nice family run pub with sky sports football and a pool table. Quality.

Lived in Bromsgrove for ten years and never went in here. Popped back over Christmas to see my mum and decided to go in as it’s been taken in a different direction and was pleasantly surprised. Took my young boys in and had a few drinks and was made to feel really welcome. Nice environment and the barman couldn’t have been nicer. Top job.

Now a modern pub, so will get noisy on the evenings with sports screens. Not for us.

When you have a mix of two TV Sports channels and a jukebox played loudly it is a complete jumble of unpleasant sounds. Beers good though.

Okay for a drink, but can get loud on the weekend.

Popped in for an ice cool drink was warmly welcomed and clean pub throughout nice local pub. Kareoke nights are good when they have them roll on more kareoke nights!!

Beer was horrendous. Pipes not been cleaned. Two other locals could not drink theirs either. Landlord pulled three more but smell put us off. Asked Landlord to taste it but he refused! Left the pub, not to return.

This could be a great pub if managed well. It's away from the centre so in a fairly quiet spot. However it is extremely noisy inside with sky tv blasting out in every corner, the owners are grumpy and the supposed real ales are badly kept and served. Unless you want to drink lager and have your ears perforated with incessant racket.....don't bother!

Whilst the pub down the road is closed for refurbishment the Crabmill could've capitalised on the extra custom but they didn't. They barely had any real ales on over the last four weeks and when it was on it was decidedly average. It looks like nobody has a clue how to pour it either. It's a shame because Laura and Ash are nice folk and always pleasant. On the whole lager or Guinness were the only choice and were too expensive. If you like football or darts on TV and drink lager then you'll be okay here but if you drink real ale and a quiet drink then you're in the wrong place. Thankfully the hop pole inn re-opens this week.

En typisk Britisk pub som man ser i serier som "med hjartet på rette staden"! Meget hyggelig og lokalt i et lite tettsted, hvor mennene går på pub etter jobb og tar en pints eller to. Hyggelig atmosfære og barkeeper!

Had Sunday lunch with the family it was a lovely traditional roast, hot & tasty. Staff very friendly and accommodating with our little one. Fairly priced. Would visit again.Thankyou

Poor service, dark and dingy atmosphere. I thought it was a crèche/ nursery when I walked in. The beer I ordered was yuk as you could taste the pipes . Don't know when the system had been cleaned last...

The Crab Mill on Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove - 2/7/2016 - I had a steak with chips, peas and mushroom and my mother had the same. He didn't ask how we would like our steaks done and it wasn't exactly service with a smile. All the tables could've done with a good clean, the cutlery wasn't clean. With this in mind, I dread to think what the hygiene in the kitchen was like. Both meals were stone cold after a half hour wait for both meals and I have never had a cold steak in my life. Saying this, we could tell the steaks were cooked. The mushroom was barely visible on either plate as it had shrivelled up so badly, when It reached my mouth my tongue turned to ice. He had several opportunities to ask us how our meals were but didn't bother because he knew what the answer would've been!
