Costa - Holywood Exchange in Belfast

When will Costa ever get it right? Cafe Latte is NOT FLAT WHITE!! Flat White is a small non frothy double expresso coffee with just double the amount of milk to coffee. If I wanted a mainly milk coffee I would ask for a Latte or a Cappuccino.

¿Qué pasa con el personal en cafeterías? Costa hasta no eléctrico. . . Ellos realmente esperaban que ME se parara y esperara 5/10 hasta que vuelva a encenderse y luego otros 5 minutos para que se inicie antes de servir a Cualquiera. . . Todo lo demás está funcionando. . . cafeteras todo funcionando. . . solo personal sin una célula cerebral entre ellos Servicio al cliente en su mejor momento. . . . ¡Yo creo que no!

Algunos de los cafés más insípidos y mal preparados que he encontrado. Siempre hirviendo y con mucho ruido, sin importar cuántas personas estén adentro. Pásate por Holywood o Belmont Road en East Belfast para tomar un café (si tienes dudas, busca un café molido en alguna parte).

He estado aquí varias veces recientemente para reuniones de trabajo. Independientemente de la hora del día, siempre parece estar ocupado, pero afortunadamente siempre hemos logrado conseguir una mesa. Es bastante brillante y está bien distribuido y nunca toma demasiado tiempo para que lo sirvan. Es un lugar práctico para ir de compras en Holywood Exchange.

This is a nice Costa as it has a decent outdoor seating area and isn't too busy so you can always get a seat in or outdoors. Coffee and food is the same as any other Costa. No vegan sandwich options but soya milk is free and you get 25p off when you take your own cup.

Second time, I have been and gave it a another go incase it was a off day. Got two speciality coffees and they were bland, could not taste the flavouring in these coffees, dont know if they actually added any but they certainly charged for it. The coffees were so bad we couldnt drink them

Always very clean and papers available to read. Some soft seats available parking outside is restricted to 1 hour free, but there is a paying car par near by.

Visited this costa with my mum yesterday for quick lunch while shopping and firstly she asked for a pot of hot water with a mug as she doesn't drink any tea or coffee - the barista claimed they weren't allowed to serve hot water due to 'health&safety' but had to put an ice cube in it😂 but yet they can serve hot tea and coffee no problem, doesn't make much sense to me at all, especially when all other Costas and coffee shops do not have this problem. I had ordered a steak and cheese panini to be heated and mum had the chicken flatbread, to be heated as well. Hers arrived quite quickly but no sign of my panini. Got to the point where I had finished my coffee and mum her flatbread so we went to the counter to see what was going on - my panini hadn't even been heated yet.....however when it eventually arrived it was hot and very nice but having worked in a restaurant myself, the service we received as a whole was horrendous. Personally, I will never be back. Also, only 1 customer toilet on which the lock on the door doesn't work properly and toilet roll not even in its proper hygienic holder but ON A BIN that is most likely used for babies nappies!! Floor was swimming with water and didn't smell clean at all. Was not at all impressed.

After tiresome trek round Ikea, in need of Serious pick me up, headed for Costa, didn't disappoint excellent capuccino and latte, really hit the spot! Was light, bright coffee shop and not too,busy.

This is a typical Costa cafe with all the usual on offer. Great if visiting the nearby Ikea. There is a very pleasant outside area or a nice comfortable inside seating area.

Not great. Coffee was bitter and cold. There's not much life in the staff imported from somewhere. The ambience is ok and my toasted sandwich was hard as the rock of Gibraltar.

Called in for a coffee the customer service skills in this Costa is unbelievable and laking no smile, no eye contact nothing. I won't be back!

Went here for coffee today as we needed refreshment from the amount of money my wife Spent . Coffee good service good , cakes could take them or leave them .

Ok so the coffee wasnt bad but parts of the outlet close, we were asked to move out of the comfy window sofa so staff could clean for closing in 1 hour! Bit dissapointed as it costa fortune!

I visit here quite often for usual Costa fayre and find the staff friendly and attentive. Best blueberry muffin by far.

Staff are very friendly generally interact in a bit of chat whilst they are making coffee which I think is great. Always good selection of treats. My personal favourites are the almond and raspberry bake or the lemon tart. Coffees are made perfectly and staff always ask if you wish for any toppings rather than just putting them on.

I stopped here for breakfast with my wife and niece, the food was tasty and the service friendly & professional.

I agree with the previous review about Costa but this one is different because of the lovely large windows and relaxed atmosphere. The other ones close by - Ards, Bloomfield Bangor and Victoria Square Belfast, are very dim and claustrophobic. Staff are always welcoming. Looking forward to summer when I can have coffee outside

You know what you're getting with a Costa. No surprises here. Good coffee, nice lemon tarts, dull eyed staff. Bland but safe. Middle aged heaven.

I have met friends here for coffee or lunch on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. Today was no exception: indeed for the first time anywhere I was offered a small portion of hot water to top up my black Americano. Had a toasted sandwich on a previous visit and enjoyed it immensely. Unless something goes badly wrong I'll keep coming back and have already arranged my next visit with a friend.

I met a colleague here for coffee, he is a wheelchair user, he had arrived first and had difficulty getting his order to the table, no assistance offered. When he got this task completed, he went back and asked if he could have some sugar, only to be told dismissively 'it's over there' in an area too high for wheelchair users to reach and also so tight that it's also difficult to manoeuvre a wheelchair without ramming other customers.Staff are dry, not very welcoming and could do with both customer care & disability awareness training. Coffee is average but staff attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

This is one of the better Costa outlets. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and tidy. Good coffee and the usual range of snacks.

The coffee here is simple as. The staff are quite dry with you and don't speak much. The girl couldn't even work the till she was at. Overall wasn't a very positive experience.

I just wanted to express my thanks to the manager for his kind generosity while I did a couple of hours work this afternoon!

While on the way to a well known furniture store my wife & I dropped in to Costa for a quick coffee & snack. They did not have the particular toasted sandwich We would normally partake in..Our alternative selection was OK!My wife felt it necessary to wipe our table before our sandwiches were delivered.Costa please please get some training of staff on your ongoing agenda.Remember customers & potential customers 'vote with their feet'..It's not just about the coffee, customers are looking for the feel good factor, as well as a very positive experience ...

Extremely pleased with this branch of Costa, The staff were friendly, the hot chocolate was delicious. The bun melted in my mouth. This Costa is very neat and tidy which was brilliant. I would return here again.
