Costa Coffee - Oxford Street in Swansea

I'm having an issue with this Costa cafe. They are closing at 3:00 PM, which is strange because they are supposed to close at 6:00 PM. This seems to happen when with some staff because some of them they start to clean at 3:PM. You can't stay because they reverse most of the table to clean so they will force you to leave the premises.

Clean friendly establishment , busy but has plenty of seating and tables , great London vibe , expensive as per usual . My only gripe is that it has 1 toilet which just isn’t enough for central London location .

Called in on Saturday morning... quick service... cappuccino was nice and hot as was mocha... food standard Costa stuff..staff okay.. could have been cleaner...but here's the thing ....the toilets are locked... In order to access the loos you have to get a member of staff to open them for you....however there is no notice of this anywhere.....if you don't know about it you just think the loos are occupied and you're out of luck ..... Stick a notice on the doors .. your customers can't read minds...!!!

Kind service but closing so early…

I went to your so called friendly store today, I sat outside with my friends for not even 2 minutes before a Susan aka... Karen!!! Come over shouting we can't smoke or eat our own food! BTW we was not eating and our friend was already inside order!!! The worse part was there was many people around us eating Greg's!!! And smoking and not even ordering from your own cafe. My friends first time in the uk! I told him costa was so and friendly but ruined my friend experience!! He felt like because he is not from birttian he got picked on!! I was so disappointed. Maybe you should speak to karen- wait Susan

Delicious coffee, in Costa friendly staff, always clean, tidy unfortunately won't be visiting this one again. Have such rude customers telling them to have patience. When it's the one telling you who's the problem. I enjoy Costa but that's put me off visiting unfortunately. 👍🏼

Not impressed, went in asking if I could use the facilities before ordering a drink as I didn’t want to take my drink in with me and was told no.

I came here with my two children this morning and the staff were fantastic! So attentive and nothing was too much trouble! All drinks were served so quickly and delish! My 2 year old then knocked over his babychino and before we knew it one member of staff was cleaning it up and another maki g a replacement! Thank you for making us feel so welcome despite us causing a commotion! It doesn’t go unnoticed xxx

Standard coffee shop, decent location.

This was our go-to coffee place for our morning coffee and breakfast while visiting Swansea. Costa and it's food are the same everywhere but the staff was what made this Costa extra likeable. So friendly and helpful!

Best staff around so quick and efficient

This is my favourite Costa. The staff are so friendly and I always feel welcome here.

El baño estaba cerrado Y la planta sótano también para no atenderla ya que les faltaba personal. Una vergüenza Como es una zona turística tienen los baños cerrados Entiendo que no es legal, pero se lo pasan por el forro. Y los empleados dicen que están bloqueados. Ja ja ja

Always a lovely smile on the faces of the staff .I feel very welcome there and a cosy atmosphere. Food is always good too x

Thoroughly enjoyed the latte coffee made with whole milk.

So popped in for a coffee and discovered that I had a birthday reward. So a caramel chocolate brownie it was a a very tasty latte. Great service from the young barista with the pink hair. Was made to feel welcome and wished a belated happy birthday during conversation. The shop was busy but not noisy, muted with whispered conversations. I sat and read my book but also noticed that the two staff on the floor were busy but attentive to the customers. Staff were quick to clear and clean recently vacated tables. Great welcome, fantastic customer service and great teamwork from the staff!

Spent £22 for a latte and 5 reindeer muffins to just receive 1 latte!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting service!!!!!!

Great coffee and customer service

Visited this afternoon and extremely shocked by the way two very friendly members were left to serve the queue of people of of the door whilst two other associates walked about and did very little! A lot of the customers turned around and walked back out.. it was extremely frustrating to watch one associate walk behind the counter oblivious to the queue out of the door and offered no help to the young lad and lady rushed of their feet! She put a date sticker on a container and walked off! Other customers commented on the lack of team work feeling sorry for the red face pair trying to deal with everyone.. I understand hospitality is struggling at this time but if you have members walking around doing very little the good ones you have will not stick around for long.

Long queue out of door, 4 staff working yet only one was serving and one was making coffee, the other two seemed to be walking around filling the odd stuff behind counter, it would have been better to get the queue down by everyone on tills and making coffee. Poor management

Lovely ambience and the staff were very amicable

Unfortunately doorvwasvbeing repaired very noisy. Coffee was good though.

Fresh decor. Good overall but a bit echoey as it's a big space with limited soft furnishing.

A special thanks to Linda who went that extra step for the customer, appreciate the kind gesture and the coffee was great too.

Plenty of space and great coffee. The service was excellent. Located in the central parts. Not far from railway station.

Some tables still closed off yet others in the window all open for use and closer together than the others - causing confusion for some customers this morning.

Costa coffee is a great place to visit for a nice hot cup of coffee hot chocolate with cream and tea the staff are very friendly and helpful and they always got a smile on their face

You forgot 3 of the 4 cakes ordered. Not very good when you're ordering cake and coffee for the family. Highly disappointed!!

Fast and friendly baristas with an excellent atmosphere

I visited this store last week. Well i was very impressed with a lady named Alex. I walked in and went straight to the baby change facilities. When i came out, i noticed there was a que at the til. I walked towards it and asked Alex if i had to reserve a table. She said no, its fine, i could sit at that table if i like as i had the baby. My baby is newborn. I had problems scanning the track n trace so she offered to help. She noticed i was about to brrast feed, and asked me if i would like a coffee and would bring it over to me. I was so very greatful with the unexpected table service. She was so helpful & polite. It really made my day. The simple things really do count. Thankyou Alex

The Belgian chocolate frostino had zero flavour was just cold that’s about it. The iced latte had a decent flavour, the carrot cake was lovely and moist and very tasty

Order 2 iced drinks and they came really watery hardly any flavour... Shame as it its always lovely I would like a full refund as I use this service alot and never had such a problem

In Swansea Costa in front of H.SAMUEL jewellery shop 2 middle aged women work for service and they were extremely rude. My partner and I did the track and trace and sat down waiting for my partner. They tried to kick me out and I refused saying that my partner was ordering. They were then racist to my partner, saying that he specifically was a liar and did not fill out the track and trace forcing him to re-do it in front of them as well as join a wifi that did not work to do the track and trace. This made a huge line of people behind him and they then proceeded to rudely kick out more people in the line, which included a family with a small baby. It’s 20° and no baby should be outside in the heat and sun because of the staffs ignorance. If you need coffee go to another Costa or better yet go to Starbucks.

Such friendly staff - they are very accomodating. Very clean and central in the city.

Very unfriendly and irrational?? You spend a lot of money on drinks to be told you can’t eat outside food on the premises, so if you want to enjoy a donut with your coffee, forget it. Also the woman with pink hair is very condescending

Other staff members were okay but the lady with the pink hair needs to be fired. Extremely horrible and went to chat to her family outside while I was standing around waiting for assistance. Not coming here again, absolutely ruined my day

Regular place to visit for a iced tea or hot chocolate 😊 depending on what time you visit you might struggle for a seat indoors. Staff are always friendly.

The people who work in the Oxford Street Costa are really friendly. This might be a chain cafe, but it has the feel of a smaller place.

Good coffee. I enjoy a cortado...they definitely make the best. Good service. Only downside for me is lots of 'shared' tables.

This Is My Most Favourite Coffee Shop In The World. Costa Is By Far The Best Coffee Shop's In The World. I Love The Mocha's, Hot Chocolate & Latte. The Toast Is Stunning. They Have Outstanding Selection Of Cakes. The Staff Are Amazing & Super Friendly. I Highly Recommend This Venue To Everyone XXXX

My Fav coffee, great place to unwind, staff always friendly.

I come in this Costa when everywhere is busy because it’s normally very quiet with people mostly sat outside. On my most recent visit every table that was not in use had dishes and rubbish on them. I asked for my drink go sit and received it in a take out cup and I felt rushed as I ordered my drink and the member of staff serving me went straight to do my drink and didn’t ask if I would like to add anything else to my order. Therefore I felt uncomfortable to ask to add my cake order to my order as I was rushed into paying. The toilet was also broken with the button being broken and wedges into the wall, having constant water running and no way of being able to flush

Staff 1st class on keeping the tables clear and service second to none - no complaints only compliments

The speed at which coffee is served here is nothing short of performance art. It's like watching people move through thick syrup. People left the queue, simply giving up on their dream of a caffeine hit.

Toilets were dirty and no paper. Floor was a mess
