We broke down and got towed to these services, waited around 5 hours for the next two truck to take us the rest of the way and the staff were so kind and thoughtful, even offered us free beverages and kept checking in on us

4 members of staff. Watched them take over 5 minutes to serve a piece of cake and a cup of tea. Forgot a fork, milk, and a spoon. I have a father with Parkinson's and if I asked him for a cup of tea he'd have time to take the dog for a walk and still be quicker. Eventually another member of staff came back from a break and took my order since they were only taking one order at a time as I am sure the 4 members of staff there would likely get confused. - it's absolutely dead in here. So they aren't busy!

This is a review of the NOT EAST, BUT WESTBOUND costa coffee, unfortunately i had a terrible and frankly traumatic experience with a specific employee at this location named Oliver, according to his name badge. I have reason to believe that the foam in my latte was comprised of a mixture of the standard foam and this employees lactation from his breast, i have reason to believe this as i spectated him slowly rubbing his seemingly moist nipples into my coffee, sensually. Furthermore when presenting me with my drink he stated, "Are you a french press? because id love to push your buttons and make you feel steamy" (a coffee themed and disgusting pickup line which made me nearly hyperventilate and pass out) thus i believe this employee should be fired immediately!

This is a review of Costa Coffee at Leigh Delamere WESTBOUND ( impossible to find it on Google). Clean, pleasantly laid out and offering a huge, perhaps too huge, variety of drinks and food. The staff were working like crazy to fulfil all the orders, doing the best they could under conditions of extreme busyness. However, service was appallingly slow - it took about 15 minutes for me to get my order, a waiting time of about 3 mins to order and pay, followed by a long wait for the remaining time to get my coffee, during which time I stood and watched my warm croissant getting steadily cooler. It is possible to order and pay on screen, cutting the queue for payment. This may save you perhaps a couple of minutes but the long wait to get your order fulfilled remains.

This is a review if the WESTBOUND Leigh Delemere services Costa. But it didn't come up on Google. (Should I review Google as well?) Anyway. Coffee itself- excellent. Staff however- severely lacking in energy and customer service. Paid for a medium coffee- got a small. The cortado came an inch from the lip. I took it backand asked for a top up. No real communication from staff and I had to stop them just pouring cold milk in it. "Hot milk" I said. She quickly remedied it but without a word. I actually said sorry for being abrupt. Still nothing from staff. Drink still wasn't to brand standard but tbh it was good enough for me and it was lovely. We mentioned the mistake with the other drink and it was fully refunded so fair play. Almost every table was dirty. Staff training needed!

I have been stopping here a couple of times a month in the early hours of the morning - always seems to be the same chap toiling away on his own... He's superb! I don't have much expectation of great customer service at UK service stations (but please note, they can seem like the Ritz compared to some in the USA!) but this chap has been wonderful every time I have stopped at Leigh Delamere... so today I asked him his name as I knew that Google Maps would ask me for a review. His name is Jay - so can Jay's boss, please make sure that Jay is recognised/rewarded for his great customer service. The coffee and sandwich were ok too...

Why don't you have a coffee rating in your questions? 10.00am Tuesday 23 April 2024 This is for the west bound service area not the east. Had to go to the big Costa in the service area as the small one was closed.... Till operator nice enough. Total rubbish drinks, white hot choc and espresso. Had used the small one last night and drinks were fab. Perhaps if there was less gum chewing and more attention to making great drinks it would improve? Don't know but that person should not be making the drinks!!!!

I managed to chuck my cup of coffee on the counter and the floor. Isabel was lovely and very concerned that I hadn't burnt myself and put the tap on cold for me to hold my hands under. Then the team cleared up my mess. Could not have been more helpful. Thank you.

went to costa on the way to london today and really fancied an iced coffee, the staff asked if i wanted cream on my coffee and asked if i’d like anything else to which my mum jokingly responded “glitter”, didn’t even know they did glitter at costa but when i got my iced coffee it was dusted in edible glitter, i didn’t catch her name but she had a plaster covering her nose ring (you made my day 🥹)

Have always had a really good customer service experience at this Costa! It is great. They always get your drinks correct and double check with you if they are unsure and they always seem very friendly and happy to serve you. It is great to see lots of young people serving you who are competent and running the service really well.

AWFULL - if I could give 0 stars I would. I never write reviews but this one was very bad. Staff were atrocious, unhelpful and just incompetent. We stood waiting to be served whilst about 6 of them just laughed joked about, looked at us several times, it wasn’t until their manager told them to serve us that they did. Rolling their eyes and being rude and snappy - we asked what syrups they had and the lady just said well what do you want instead of telling us their options. Another lady who had ordered before us waited around for ages only to realise they weren’t even making her drink as they forgot about it. Honestly just terrible all round. Training in customer service and manners is defiantly needed - not to mention the coffees don’t even taste right. By the looks of these reviews they will do nothing about their staff and the service but just giving everyone else a heads up to avoid this place until they sort themselves out. The young lad there, Stephen, was lovely. Service was quick, with a smile and some banter too. We mentioned how clean it was and he had told us he had done it all on his own. Such a lovely lad and can tell he takes pride in his work. A credit to Costa I'm very sure!

The tail is wagging the dog. I can only imagine that since Brexit they have to employ “native” British islanders, much to the detriment of customer service. I was greeted (sneered at) by gen-Z activists at the till who no doubt saw me as “Gammon” instead of paying patron. The staff need to be sacked they are robotic jobsworth entitled instagram activists who should be focusing on the real world. Instead they are there to show you how much they have disdain for you and their job. Horrific…I cut the sale short left and refused to be served in this way.

Terrible customer service. Im not a frequent Costa drinker but at the end of the day coffee is coffee innit? I was excited to try the holiday Toblerone latte and politely asked for the largest size coffee the do and was told no problem. When I was handed the drink it was a medium and when I enquired why it wasn't large they said we only do them in medium, its on the board. Ok but if I didnt notice that and asked for a large they should have specified. Overall terrible experience and they need to be trained in customer service. 0 apologies from any staff due to the miscommunication.

We've just spent £20.** on 2 toasties (very nice btw), biscuits, and 2 regular coffees. Quite busy, but quite slow on the coffee machine (not the problem). 1 Americano - left, too strong and had left over almond milk (good job not an nut allergy!). I was supposed to have an almond cappuccino - all I can say is it was a strong American with an almond froth. (I am Barrista Trained). I should have taken it back BUT I couldn't be asked to wait again. Please can you do regular updates on yr Barrista Training- I don't mind paying for quality. This was NOT quality 😐

Definitely wouldn’t go here again, the service was shocking, the woman who I assume was in charge had a attitude and seems annoyed that she had to train the younger members of staff. Also a customer anciently dropped his coffee when putting sugar in it, She told him to go get someone else to clean it as she’s not the member of staff that is cleaning the tables, then told him to get to the back of the queue and buy another one. As I thought that was awful customer service I told him he could go in front of me. They still charged him for another coffee. Disgusting customer service!

I use Costa alot, but never on the motorway, this time however I ordered a small caramel latte and for the first time ever I was served it cold. The barrista clearly forgot to heat the milk, as I walked away usually you can feel the heat through the cup in your hands, I then sipped it and it was freezing cold. Pretty standard procedure to heat the milk? How they forgot I dont know. They replaced it but they said the lids don't fit very well and to be careful. So I was now spilling the replaced 'clearly extra hot' piping hot coffee on my fingers as I walked with the cup. For a motorway service station, your already paying way over the price of a standard shop, just because they can. I paid £4 for a small coffee that was cold, a lid that didn't fit and then spilt all over me. For the prices they charge here you should be getting the basics right. Disappointed. I only really write this because of the blatant price inflation just because your on the motorway and the fact I only ordered a coffee and they couldn't even get that right. Frustrating. This is probably a one off, but none the less.

Really bad service. Lady who took payment was polite but that's where it ended. The service from the person making our drinks was terrible. Drinks were lukewarm at best and she looked half asleep. She was rude and didn't even let us know the drinks were ready to take, just pushed ours out of the way. Really bad.

Bloody Awful service from the woman with the mask on in this service station. Prices don’t match what is on the cabinet. Over charged by 50p, after checking the receipt. Thinking a charge for soya. However; it was the cake that was in correctly priced. I questioned it and was told does 50p really matter. Yes, it does. She slammed down the money and grunted. I said there is no need to be rude. How people get jobs who have no customer service skills is beyond me. Dreadful. The lads in Gregg’s had brilliant customer service, and they are employed by the same people!

Absolutely disgusted and appalled by a lady behind the counter today at 5.30pm… Costa you need to see this ! She was screaming across the counter at us, could not be bothered with a question about decaf, shouted back and then wished to enter into a screaming match across the counter … we walked away refused to purchase a drink. I have never been so humiliated… 1 star is too much it should be minus 10! Asked for her name and she would not give it nor would her colleague … this lady was middled aged, a larger lady with her hair up … really Costa look at the reviews you have a problem !!!!

The women who served us at the till were rude. We were unable to read the menu, so I asked if I could see a closer copy. The cashier responded, "if you don't know what you want, we can't help." The way she puts it, she must have expected us to know what we would be getting already. After that, she comes out huffing and buffing while pointing to another menu behind us. She tells us there's no cream for cold drinks just as we're ready to order. So obviously, we must check other items to order, but she gets someone else to tell us again, giving us little time. there was literally just us at the line and it was around 3pm. A total lack of patience. At least he is very friendly about it. When we were at the cash register, she could've told us there was no cream from the beginning. Women. Simply change jobs. It's clear you're not happy at your job. She couldn't do one thing right when we came to her in line. While you don't work at a fancy restaurant, you should still at least show some decency and manners. She has a very unpleasant personality.

I came here for the first and last time . I only bought coffee. cups with sugar sachets stood next to me. I took two after ordering coffee. The gentleman who served me growled at me that I could not touch it then he threw the rest of the sugar into the trash because all the sugar has been tainted by my touch. madness. what is happening to this world. I told him that he was "very nice" and he replied that he was very nice .. He was making coffee in a hurry as if he was there for punishment. it felt like the whole pandemic was caused by me. the thing is, the coffee mug was being touched by his hands and in the end he handed me a coffee stick and it wasn't a problem for him.I paid for the coffee with vouchers. the coffee was 3.50 and he took all my vouchers for almost £ 5. Just ham. I will not go there again. congratulations on the wonderful staff.

Visited here today 28/12/2020 whilst on driving break. Was greeted with the most miserable staff Member ever. He moaned and groaned due to the fact he had just mopped the floor and I walked in there, then when I said “God your happy ain’t you” he went on to say “yea I’m here in work ain’t I”. I should of just walked out there and then. But needed a coffee break. If he doesn’t like dealing with customers then he sin the wrong job.. Only reason I’m putting this is to make me feel better. I doubt cost Management will ever look at it. Avoid if you can!!

A new starter was left unattended to make my iced coffee, which I was unaware of at the time. I only had a few minutes to quickly stop by and grab a drink before hopping on a train. As a result, the coffee was 80% water and I didn't have time to take it back. Not a fantastic first experience, but this may have been a one off.

4.40am 2/3/2020 lights were on, every thing open, called out stood by counter, staff no where to be seen? We started using the whsmith coffee machine. Then a young guy showed up at the costa counter, so went back over to check he was open, are you open? Then he said in a very off hand way "you already using that machine!" Not hello what can i get you sir, I know it's 4am but it's his shift? We both wanted some hot food as well but it seemed like it would be too much trouble for him so left it.

Great coffee! Columbian blend latte was smooth. Strawberry iced coffee wasn't great. Tastes very artificial. Salted caramel frostino tastes really good. Snacks are excellent. Millionaire shortbread was tasty! Service was not great though and they took a while to clean the table.

Reservamos para un almuerzo familiar ayer. El restaurante es precioso y el personal era muy acogedor. Nuestros entrantes eran increíbles, absolutamente delicioso. Aunque el asado era muy promedio en mi opinión. Teníamos cerdo asado que dijo que venía con relleno. No estaba en el plato, así que tuvimos que pedirlo. La señora sacó 2 bolas de relleno pero tuvimos 3 asados. Las zanahorias eran muy duras. Muy promedio para el precio yo diría. Tuvimos un tiempo encantador y sin duda volveremos, pero es probable que vayamos a otra cosa que no sea un asado la próxima vez.
