Costa Coffee, Colmore Row in Birmingham

The service is always excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly. My husband and I enjoy going there regularly to relax.

Ordered 2 drinks and one cake. Was given the wrong cake and although it was immediately replaced, I later discovered that the replacement was still wrong. Also gave me the wrong coffe. Then forget the cream on the hot chocolate. The star is for the guy that corrected the drinks. Wouldn't be so harsh but this isn't the first time they've muffed up my order. Won't bother again.

Excellent location outside Snow Hill train station. Service was prompt and courteous. Friendly staff. We had a window table and just watched the world go by while having a coffee etc. It’s a typical Costa. Clean and value for money.

Visité aquí esta mañana, el servicio fue diabólico! ¡Las dos mujeres del personal detrás del mostrador se vieron envueltas en una conversación con un cliente masculino sobre una pelea con otro miembro del personal! Continuó tanto tiempo que los pedidos se estaban acumulando y la cola seguía creciendo. Es un servicio absolutamente inaceptable, ¡no estoy interesado en escuchar una conversación juvenil mientras estoy apurado por la mañana! ¡No volver de nuevo cruzará el camino a Pret o 200 grados!

Un café Costa bastante bonito. El café y la comida es lo suficientemente decente. Sin embargo, puede estar un poco ocupado.

Situated in what should be a nice part of town. Pity a continental style outdoor seating area could not be devised as this is a large square close to the cathedral and main tourist centre, there is plenty of space for one. Usual good standard of drinks and food one comes to expect from Costa but the only let down (apart from outdoor seating, was the state of the toilets. Paper all over the floor and obviously not checked regularly. I don't know how it should get in this state as it is for customers only with a door code only accessed by the code printed on the receipt.

Stopped into Costa Coffee, 1 Colmore Row, for a hot coffee and a small bite to eat between business meetings. It was quite cool outside, so it was nice to come inside where it was warmer. I was able to quickly reach the counter and place my order. The staff were fantastic and jovial, which added to the atmosphere. The woman who took my order was brilliant. So polite and happy. Even though the place were very busy and mostly full, I was able to find a small table alongside the window area (looking out onto Colmore Row) to myself. The tabletop was a bit dirty from the last customer, so I asked the staff for a wipe to clean it. The staff quickly came over and wiped down the table for me. I ordered a large hot mocha and a toastie (cheese and tomato). The toastie was actually quite yummy and was all I needed to fill the gap between breakfast and lunch. I really enjoyed the coffee and ordered a second to takeaway. The restroom was small but clean. As a quick stopover and break, this place hit the mark.

Great service, great coffee, nice location. Would recommend. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. Will visit again

Absolute joke, waited so long for my drink because of the slow service (over 10minutes). There were only 2 people in front of me. It seemed like the person making the drinks hadn’t got a clue. Needless to say that I am not happy with the service and it’s only 15:30 what happens in rush hour time periods?

Good Greggs which is undercover in an arcade. It's small but staff are polite and pleasant. The coffee syrups were out by lunchtime which isn't great.

I went to this Costa as I needed to use the toilet but you aren't able to use it unless you purchase something. I bought a bottle of water and then was given a code to their locked toilets. The staff were lovely, Ramatulai even wrote the code on the back of the receipt in bigger writing for me. The toilet was a dark, long dungeon like room with the toilet in the far flung corner! The lights don't come on straight away which is scary and the toilet wasn't in the best kept form it could have been in. If you're expected to be charged to use the toilet then at least make sure it's a decent, clean place with a flushing system.
