Absolutely shocking service yesterday. So rude and disrespectful. I will never go there again. The young chap who was behind the till was really kind, but the lady who was making the coffee was appalling. She was clearly a foreigner and completely demeaning and hard and cold. Why do Costas employ people who cannot respect their customers?

Absolutely disgusting treatment of my two daughters who were cold and scared off by a man that was stalking them outside. I told them to seek shelter in the Costa Coffee until their dad arrived in 5 minutes. However the RUDEST member of staff (with short hair) immediately kicked them back out into the streets all because they were holding food purchased from the Co-op, which they did not intend to eat in there. Shame on you Costa Coffee for putting two vulnerable teenage girls in danger!!!!!!!!!

Too many groups of mums with too much time on their hands chatting about nothing

I really like this Costa. It's far better than all the other Costa's I go to. Service always friendly and if it is delayed due to the level of trade they apologise. Clean, coffee always good and all the staff I've encountered, even ones in training are always polite.

Ela made my very unusal order of a coconut, sugar free vanilla (diabetic reasons), wet cappachino, steamed to 120 with shot and syrup in 1st, always smiling and very friendly.

Despite being extremely busy Karen (on the till) and Tiffany (making drinks) were very friendly and chatty. They got my order together quickly and the café was clean and well kept.

Great service and really good coffee, especially the flat whites.

My daughter desperately needed the toilet today and went to ask where this was. The blonde lady at the counter said she doesn't know. When confronted, she said my daughter "didn't specifically say OUR TOILET" but she just asked for the toilet. So, next time I need to teach her to be more specific when she is asking for something. Needless to say my daughter was almost in tears when we left. And noticed the blonde lady rolling over her eyes whilst explaining to another customer how inappropriate my daughter's behaviour was. I have been here several times for coffee and cake but never coming back. The lady at the counter had an accent-nothing to do with anything, I also have an accent, but just to make her easier to recognise in case she does this to someone else. She obviously was not having a great day but no need to lash out at a young girl. Very unprofessional and rude.

I came into this coffee shop with a friend yesterday, I was served by a woman called Tamara, she was quite probably the rudest person I’ve ever encountered, my friend & I were horrified by the way she spoke to us, she either needs customer service training or place her away from customers. I have to say that the other member of staff was lovely.

Great chain coffee shop with helpful staff that serves standard Costa products. Right in the center of Fryern Arcade & has outside seating area.

It’s the wonderful staff that make the place, really helpful and always smiling, my kids love going in there. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Staff are so Friendly and welcoming, amazing food, lovely atmosphere!

I went out with my friends and had an amazing time. There was some technical issues with my card but the staff handled it kindly and gave my drink on the house. They came up to me and gave me a dessert and talked about it. I also saw them help the elderly. The decor of the café was amazing and ✨aesthetic✨! I’m coming back next week with more people!!! Can’t wait

As Costas go, OK. Food limited, no healthy options. Not a great atmosphere, but does the job.

Really nice staff Really not happy that they have stopped allowing dogs into coffee shop. I have been going their with my dogs for ages and now we have been asked to leave because we have our dogs with us. Had to drink our coffee outside. I won't be doing that again. I don't think we shall be going back......

Popped in on a Tuesday 26/9/23 around 11.45am, to grab a takeaway medium chai latte (£4.00) was rather quiet, was served very quickly, staff were polite and friendly, please and thank you. Would call in again if passing.

Reasonable place to get a coffee, but wish it was stronger. Service was great, staff friendly and helpful. Quite a few seats with plug sockets. No problems getting 4g WiFi signal. Food is expensive and as far as I can see nothing available that's meat only. Others may well be happier with the food choices than me, the low score is because I choose not to eat the things on offer.

Don't like Costa never been in one never will

Was very busy, hence all the empty tables still had dirty used cups and plates on them. The cleaning Staff were struggling to keep up. I ended up ordering and going to sit in my car

Your welcomed by the staff it has a wonderful ambiance when you walk in.

The usual Costa coffee experience, but I found it quite noisy with the music on.

Awful. Had 2 hazelnut lattes, had to take back as milk was off. No refund, given two more, got home, no syrup!!!! Worst experience ever. Lost 2 customers

Friendly staff, good layout of tables for eating and drinking in, helped by nicely sized floor space. Handily situated. Standard offering of food and drinks. Tables can be left uncleared when very busy.

One of the nicest Costa Coffee outlets in the region. All the standard usual Costa fare, but with a genuine smile and warm service. Great flat whites!

Walked up with the missus, we had a voucher from Christmas, it got us two drinks and two breakfast rolls and a little change. There was no queue when we got there so there was no wait, drinks and food were tasty. It was a little noisy as there were quite a few people there but it's a coffee shop so that's hardly unusual or a problem so I don't mind :-) We've been before, I'm sure we'll visit again :-)

The service here is really bad, the food was ok I asked for the food and drinks for dining in and they gave some of it takeaway cups😡😡

There seems to be some new staff in Costa (CF) who are friendly, pro-active, efficient (read:fast) and it makes such a huge difference. I only popped in for a coffee and a snack - it it seems to be frequented by locals (👏👏👏) and is located in the most interesting building - which I love! I feel a bit mean not giving it 5 stars - but I think, if it continues on its current trajectory, I may revise it to a 5!!

Useless - you'll be lucky if you ever get your order, or if the order is correct. No way to inform the place of the mistake and to actually get your order - online it only punishes the driver.

This example of Costa is as good as any you will find. There is plenty of seating and it is in a prime location. The only downside of that is that it is very popular and that can result in a delay in getting served. Nevertheless, I would recommend this example wholeheartedly.

Great tasting coffee. Easy parking and quick service. Somewhat impersonal as Covid screens still up (however, given the resurgence, understandable). Main issue, like everything else at the moment, is the ever increasing prices - £3.05 for a small latte !

The staff here are lovely. They look after my Dad every time he goes in for take away coffee on his scooter. They do a lovely flat white made with Oat Milk for me.

We called in for a bacon bap and coffee. Place was clean and the food good. Quite a choice of goodies available

Orders a coffee which came in a kids cup after paying for a normal size one. Received a mouldy chocolate twist.

All ok but may have arrived when everywhere needed a clean down, tables i need of sanitising and some parts of the floor was a bit messy but over all distancing is being observed and staff are friendly and helpful. Just a moment when cleaning was needed I think.
