Costa Coffee in Sutton

Staff are very friendly. Please keep in mind that this is a dog friendly Costa, as I had taken my seat inside, I noticed a dog sitting on a chair behind me and another on the floor opposite drinking out of a bowl.

That's the shop I come regularly with my son. Very friendly ladies there.

Nice and spacious, can work remotely speedy WiFi and the staff are very nice. I have been gotten a 'too goo to go' bag from here nice bonus when hungry.

Perfect place for a slow coffee and croissant while people watching. Staff are tremendously helpful and extremely pleasant.

Long que when I got there only 2 people serving had to wait about 15mins for the coffee as they were backlog with customers inside the shop and delivery's no one else to help them .will go again coz the people were nice and kept saying sorry to everyone .well done ✔️ to them staff

COSTA COFFEE CARSHALTON The attitude of the manager in this branch was absolutely disgusting. I am doing my part by helping others less fortunate than myself by getting involved in the too good to go scheme. The bag was not ready at the allocated time. The other staff seemed slightly confused so sought assistance from the manager. She came marching out and threw 3 items in a bag then demanded to see the code to prove I had paid. The food provide was of poor quality at best. But what I was shocked at was the attitude of the store manager. I found this individual to be intimidating and very disrespectful. She definitely requires some serious customer service training. Needless to say, I will never be visiting this store again and would not recommend it.

Great place for a freshly prepared hot or cold drink and snack. Always clean & tidy, friendly service with a smile from all the baristas. Highly recommend !!!!

Coffee is really good, shortbread with caramel and chocolate too. The place is very spacious, with comfortable chairs. It is possible to sit outside as well. It is a little bit dirty though - I wish they cleaned it a bit more often.

I know your supposed to leave some room in the cup but a paid for a large and got a small delivered, none split in the bag either. please don't think you can give half a cup because it's delivery. Many thanks

Just had a weird experince here. The staff offered freebies as it's going to close soon to customers here.. she offered every single table included the customers next to ours but missed us😌 Funny enough that she went to every table except ours..coz we are Asians? Nope we don't want freebies😩

We like Costa, I usually have a cold drink, my partner has a chi, and her son has a white hot chocolate. Unfortunately, this time, I had to use the toilet. It was a disgrace, the floor and toilet were covered in water, with wet toilet paper all over the floor. The toilet seat didn't actually fit the toilet properly, not covering the porcelain, which was also wet. The backrest was again, yep, covered with water. As if someone went in with a shower and sprayed everything! If it wasn't for the frap and the chi tea, we would avoid this costa and go elsewhere.

The biggest problem with this Costa coffee is that are all the time new people ( one specific) that they don't know their job and charge different prices than the others and when you tell them that in 7 different Costa shops I am being charged the same amount why you charge me more? Their response is I don't know if you are familiar with the other staff and they charge you this amount. Yes I am friend with all the other staff here and the other shops is not because you don't know your Job ...

Been a few times recently. Staff seem to make up their own closing time. Went there today and with 2 hours to go was told that they could only serve in takeaway cups as they were short staffed. Must be costly and not very environmentally friendly

The number of times you queue in this place and then have to walk out because you don’t get served in 20 mins is outstanding. Either management are not putting enough staff on, the staff are poorly trained, or the system is just not efficient enough. Fair play to the people that have the patience regularly go anywhere near this place on a regular basis. But please know this - there are alternatives in the local area that are cheaper, quicker, and deliver a more pleasant experience and better quality of coffee. In fact there isn’t an area where Costa in Carshalton does not fall short - it is the business equivalent of a Carry On movie.

An absolutely painful process just ti get a coffee here the line was out the front door and there was only two people behind the counter serving. It took almost 30 minutes to get a plain Coffee. The poor staff were overworked and whelmed this morning! Disgusting of Costas to do this to them!!!!

The revamp inside is nice except there is nowhere obvious to put your tray when your done and the worst part is the screens with the menu. Could be hard to read I suppose but half way through deciding what to order they all play a minute long advert for a drink I dont want and then im stood there with a que of people behind me waiting for it to go back to the menu

Great staff, typical costa experience, BUT always packed. Sadly twice have been next to young adults who have taken up 2-3 times the room they needed and 1 of the times they had pizza ( from store across street) spread out over tables... pretty shabby... Always used plates /cups that haven't been tidied away.

I spend alot of Mummy time here! The staff are really nice and didn't charge me when I needed a little hot milk for my baby's porridge, which was very kind. The smell of the disabled toilets is not very nice though :(

As a regular customer, I always find the staff here to be polite and helpful. It is often busy but they work tirelessly to fulfill orders as quickly as possible.

Nice cuppa to break my afternoon walk. Just a little moan, don't understand why parents don't keep children under control. There were 2 (probably 4 and 6 years old) riding scooters inside the store. Mum on mobile, dad trying to sort out drinks. Me, I love kids but do not appreciate this kind of behavior. On moan over. 😀

Lots of seats to choose from, nice people. Seating outside too. Nice view to the High Street. Quiet in the evening and open usually when surrounding shops are closed.

The barista girl holds takeaway cups from inside the cup with dirty hand. I was waiting for coffee I ordered she left on the counter without telling me it’s mine. Poor internet connection even my own internet doesn’t work this store.Always cold.Empty tables don’t clean regularly.Toilets are dirty. Short stuff. This mistakes comes out if I compare with other Costa brunches.

Waiting more than 10 minutes, for 1 take away late.. 11 Customer have been sever me even after the order, guy no apologies even…, No wonder Staff shortage I think they got very unskilled dumb people, no experience same as don’t know how to work for order… What do you expect opening empty box same like this staff., Very disappointed and disrespectful!!!!!!staff

Went for a coffee, old gentleman looking for a table, no seats, so me and my friend gave him ours, and went and sat on the bench outside, if the people on their laptops got off there seats and worked from home or somewhere there would be enough seats... wont get going there again.

My order was filled efficiently and the staff were pleasant. I was discouraged from eating in as they said they were closing in 30 mins so I ate in my car, feeling a little unwelcome. Food was piping hot, coffee was Costa standard and the muffin was a fresh sweet treat.

I usually have such a lovely experience at this Costa, but today was the first time I've been met with such an awful experience from the Manager. She was rude, had an attitude and didn't want to correct the order that had been made by mistake. I politely told the Manager (since she was making the drinks) that my friend had received a latte instead of an iced one and she said "I've already made the drink now" and barked "did she order and ICED latte or a latte" and then proceeded to loudly slam everything. It felt so uncomfortable and made us feel bad for asking for the correct order. I've been going there for 10 years now and it felt so bad to be treated that way in a place that felt nice to go to.

I always order from here via uber eats. They always get their order right unlike the one in purley way...

Appalling service. People were waiting patiently outside as the website said open at 0630. The "we are open" placard was already placed outside. At 0728 staff indoors could see the queue yet didn't have the decency to tell those outside they had changed their hours. Secondly, the manageress had walked passed the queue to go into the premises and didn't mention that they were not going to be open for 30mins. When members of the public tapped on the glass and asked politely if they were opening soon a male member of staff was rude and aggressive with his tone to the members of the public. Stating "You can get coffee across the road and the we are open sign needs to be there to instruct customers". I presumed the "we are open" writing was code for "don't use costa coffee again, as we employ rude staff".

Bit confusing how they have set up but on the whole good service and nice coffee
