Busy but staff friendly and service quick

I'd hoped for a usable hotspot, sadly it wasn't.

Great coffee bit of a queue costa also need to look at pricing it getting a bit expensive

Extremely slow service. Walked out after 15 minutes not being served. Click and collect isn’t working.

Liked it, easy to park, only one person in front of me, room to sit and coffee was as expected. All good.

Dreadful customer service. Staff need training in the basics of manners and not ignoring customers!

A small Costa inside the Next. Not much seating available if you go close to closing time (we visited at 6:30pm, an hour before closing, and all but three tables were roped off because of cleaning), however it is nice and cosy. Quiet during the evenings, but can get busy during the day. Food and drinks are always lovely from my experience and the staff are friendly.

The cafe is always busy. Plenty of seating available and a good range of cakes and sandwiches on display. Served quickly, the staff were helpful and the drinks arrived swiftly.

The ice coffee was good as was the service, but the toilets were awful, dirty and very smelly, not a good impression, only plus they did have hand sanitiser by the toilets to use as you left!

Staff were very understanding when I didn't know that the chai lattes here also contain coffee! Atmosphere was relaxing and clean. I will be back :)

first time i’ve been to this costa and the place was empty but every table was filthy with trays and cups on, two staff members stood around doing nothing & it seemed like an inconvenience that a friend and i wanted to order something:(

Not the best run costa I've been in, 4 staff but no one clearing tables and when I took a tray full of old cups and plates one member of staff said "I can't take that off you" you can imagine my response.

The service is outstanding! They all go the extra mile I am partially disabled and my mum.is in her mid 70s they carried the tray over to the table etc for us ! This is why we love this Costa !

Called today with my 103yr old aunt for a coffee and cake. My aunt fancied the lemon tart but when I ordered it in welsh i. e " un deisen lemon plîs" I was very rudley told by the MANAGER that she didn't speak welsh, not " sorry, I don't speak welsh", just " I don't speak welsh "!! How can anyone be employed in a coffee shop in Wales and not be intelligent enough to know that " un" means " one" , lemon is pretty self explanatory...or so you would have thought , and as I was pointing at the cake " teisen" should have been pretty obvious too! She was extremely rude throughout the order and not even saying thank you after I handed over my payment, she obviously doesn't realise who actually pays her wages. I tried contacting Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg to complain but realised they were closed due to the bank holiday...I shall be getting in touch with them next week. G Williams

Ignore the stated closing time of 7-30 pm. Been a few times and great service. Recently though on 3 occasions been before 6-30 pm following a walk from home to take some daily exercise and told it's takeaway only, because we are cleaning on random evenings. Fair enough, but why not factor this in to the stated closing time. Like 6-30 until 7-30 it's take away only then at least customers won't make wasted trips there if they want to sit in, have a brew then move on.

Went to Next Bangor and while we were there went to Costa coffee tried to purchase a cake for my 7 year old and was told it was closed even when it wasn't 19.30 yet one of the staff tried to help but was told by another we are closed then I asked if we could have a toilet key for my daughter and I was told we are closed leaving my 7 year old very upset and crying. Thank you Costa coffee Bangor for your kind caring approach . Wouldn't recommend for families 😢

Great service and great festive toffee penny latte.

Visited yesterday placed packed but yet people were queing in front on of me with no masks on, not even brought up by staff. I can understand staff don't want to get abuse, but I thought in Wales it was still a legal requirement to wear them indoors unless eating or drinking the three in front of me queuing were clearly. doing neither, no mask no service, then they can't moan if they don't get served.

Visited today for the first time in a while. Best oak milk cappuccinos I’ve had in a high street coffee shop. The staff, especially Oliver, were lovely.

Usual Costa, drinks were made well. There is a bit of seating available.

In/out system is a bit confusing, but worth it to get a proper coffee.

A good, clean coffee house with very friendly staff.

Costa serves a milder coffee and some tasty cakes. Beware the WiFi, which demands your mobile phone number and won't allow access until you surrender it via anoying exchange of codes. Come on Costa; we are past this!

Ok. Dirty tables and food left on the floor, but the tea was drinkable and the sofa comfortable.

Oh my god could there coffee get any weaker it's just hot milk at the end of the day not worth the money. And why is there so much foam on a flat white it's not rocket science it's a flat coffee not a foam coffee

Had a bacon bap and an oat cake, delicious, couldn't fault it and a good cup of tea. The place itself is a bit grotty, could do with a bit of freshening up, staff very friendly.

I had to walk out of the shop, there was a long queue and only one lady serving behind the counter. Terrible service.

Costa Bomb more like! So expensive! Tables are always dirty too. The fruit coolers and hot chocolate drinks are rather nice though.

The latte was barely warm, the service was great. More importantly the work station was a state, didn't look like it had been cleaned all week. Mugs dirty too.

Love Costa. Great coffee and cakes here. Very relaxing atmosphere. Can be crowded and sometimes slow service because of the lack of staff. Staff are very friendly. But like every other Costa extremely expensive for what you get. You should consider buying lunch from somewhere else.

Lovely cafe bar. Clean and very pleasant staff. Ideal if you are shopping and need s snack or a coffee.

Always always bad service but 2day even worse Toilets wet floors no paper all tables full of empty trays although i ask for somone 2 clear tables no one did Wont bother again
