Extremely bad staff They don’t know how to communicate with customers and trat them

Very expensive and not enough space

Service: Barista assumed coffee was for taking away. I did not want burden them with preparing a new one, so I had to drink the coffee in the cardboard cup. Food: this is not only for this Costa, but a general trend I have noticed for Costa: the cakes and brioshe range is either very limited or not existing at all. Today at this Costa at 11 AM there 2 lemon muffins and some terrible biscuits. I could not take anything. Costa, what is happening? Atmosphere: personnel is friendly.

Malian is amazing she is so friendly and helpful she is a credit to the company, is always a pleasure to be served by her.

I’ve never seen so many flies in a cafe in my life. Constantly having to swat them away while I ate my food. One of the cake tins under the counter was uncovered and the flies were swarming it and the syrups behind the counter. When we confronted the staff they said they know and then carried on as if nothing was happening. We’re literally going to have to try to report this to a hygiene agency.

I visited Costa on Saturday 23rd September and ordered my latte. Whilst sitting with my children I noticed the entire wall behind us was infested with tiny black flies. The flies kept flying into our face's and eventually landed into my drink. At this point I was very irritated. I informed the staff and she said that Costa head office are aware of this but haven't done anything to eradicate it. When we were leaving I noticed the wall were the barista prepares the drinks was also completely covered with the black flies. In my opinion something really needs to be done as the powdered hot chocolate had the lid open and the flies can easily land on it. The next day me and my children woke up with food poisoning. I will definitely not visit Costa again.

It is flooding with flies,you can't even have a coffee from all this flies and the bin stinks and probably there are a milion of flies around the bin

Fruit flies everywhere all up the walls and in the kitchen coffee area they close the upstairs 4 hours before shutting and they put the food out near the fruit flies. Needs improvement

We went in for a cuppa and where we were sitting seemed to have an infestation of fruit fly's they were all over the wall behind us and flying around the store as the chap on a few tables away was also swatting them, on visiting the toilet which was also very dirty and a lot of substance on the floor around the bowl the area was covered with them and advised my wife and her sister to use the ones in the mall . I'm a Costa card holder and will now use the Starbucks across the road which is a lot cleaner

I really liked the place and the baristas were really helpful and they helped me find a place nearby an electrical outlet so that I can work.

On Sunday 3rd September at about 12:30 , the man working was very rude when I didn't understand the new frappe flavours they had. He repeated himself with an eyeroll and sigh, making me feel stupid. I don't usually write reviews, but this experience left me with a bitter feeling. Won't come again.

I really enjoyed myself there and will certainly visit there again.

Visited this branch of Costa Coffee in the Livat Mall in Hammersmith two days this week (June 2023). Compared to a year ago on my previous time things have dramatically improved. Day 1 (1130) and Day 2 (1330) the branch was busy. Staff coped well and kept waste and tables well under control. They also seemed friendlier and more chilled than previously. The branch is on two levels with service counter, food and snacks area and public toilet on the ground floor with more seating on the upper level. Was not able on these visits to visit the upper level. Being a very hot day outside good chilled ventilation inside worked very well. A site booked for a return visit.

Staff close upstairs few hours early without letting customers know. if I knew upstairs was about to close I would of went Starbucks across the road. Everyone went downstairs at the same time and all the seats were taken. Won’t be coming back and raised this with head office. Surely upstairs should close the same time as the shop

I use to go to this coffe some time to just chill and relax in the first floor as they have a nice sofas next to windows but recently i went there couple of time but i suprised the stuff close the 1st floor just because they need to clean and at 4pm and shop close at 5:30 !! So it doesn’t make any sense

Great place,friendly and helpful staff.Beautiful restaurant, attentive staff and tasty food We went there for Afternoom Tea but definetely want to go back to try other food.

This is a no go area, people who go here have very poor personal hygiene and smell extremely badly, their bad wee smell spreads across the entire Costa coffee. I have never experienced this anywhere else but some of their loyal customers who come here all the time generally have very bad hygiene. This is the 4th occasion someone who sticks of wee has sat two to three seats from me, and the snell spreading across the entire shop.

2 🌟 just because of the place, very nice place to have a coffee, first floor very noisy, second floor upstairs very quiet. Lots sockets to plug the charger. Lovely place. But when it comes at the point why we are here, I am disappointed... Not a good coffee they can make, this is because of baristas. My point on this review is also that they didn't have still water, just water you get me?? So they wanted to refund me just like that not even apologies. Anyway i had to get sparkling water. Change the staff pls .

Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff very gentle. Was a tall bold guy very professional with other member Alina that make my day. She made the best cortado ever, smoothy coffee tasting so much. It was really best experience ever in Costa

Met friend to have coffee using 2 free drinks on points card. Enjoyed the Jamaican ginger cake (one slice is enough for 2 to share) and also had a berries cooler which I love. Well-trained staff as always and relaxed atmosphere.

A nice Costa with nice staff, I've been to this shop many times as it is quieter than the busy station one, so when I'm in Hammersmith this is the Cost to go to... getting the prestigious upstairs window seats is all down to very good luck though.

Very poor service. Ordered two drinks and I went to pick up the drinks I realised that the barista "j....." has added chocolate sprinkles on one of the drinks which i never asked for. I questioned why she did it she yelled at me saying "you asked for it" while I appreciate staff can confuse orders some times there is no justification for being rude. I told that I thought her behaviour is "poor customer service " and again I was yelled at saying "I told you "I can make you another one". To make things worse my wife found the bathroom in a disgusting state when she tried to use it. I understand that hospitalty is struggling to find staff these days but honestly they should keep a close eye on such behaviour as it drives customers away.

Unfortunately this place is not as nice as it used to be. It is dirty and the toilets are filthy. Some of the most loyal customers smell of urine. When I complained to the staff they told me they are customers so they can't ask them to leave which I do understand. Basically Costa Coffee in Hammersmith has turned into a no go area.

This Costa is one of the Best I have been to . Nestled in Hammersmith near a shopping centre. I have stood up and realised I left behind something very important in a Harrods bag … the guy who clears the tables quickly fetched it for me and handed it over to me with a smile. Once more a great setting, brilliant customer service especially from the man with the beard … he was quick to serve me and very helpful as I had a vodaphone voucher… thank you once more the man with the big beard ! Highly recommended … I Will visit again .

Coffee is the same every where.they did have toilets facilities available which was good.So you didn't have to go looking.

Was in area for some work, and needed a quick me up, oh my what a strong amazing coffee they even added coconut milk in. Starbucks is starbucks, I like the taste, staff was quick, and did very well considering masks and all and queue.

I used Too Good To Go and was pretty disappointed with "selection" I received. Most places in Hammersmith give a balanced variety which can be eaten as one compelete meal. At Costa, although there were all kinds of fresh pastries left at the end of the day, I was instead given a bag with three toasties in and nothing else. I won't eat three toasties in one day, so at least one will go to waste, despite the whole point in the project being to avoid food waste. Disappointing, and I won't be purchasing a Magic Bag from Costa again.

Got my costa app, costa card, just need a costa coffee drip attached and I'm happy haha..love my lemon muffins as a naughty treat 😉❤

Staff are always lovely, the drinks are great. My go to is either an iced latte or hot chocolate!

May be open for take away in Tier 4 - but what i like about Costa is that you always get what you expect.

This is a big costa, staff are nice and friendly. Although I find all costa staff friendly where ever I go. I love Costa coffee wont go anywhere else!... I especially like this one as it's the only one I have found that is using glass and not those horrible take out cups I'd thata what you prefer also you can sit inside which alot of other costas you can not. I walk from Kensington past a costa to come here because of the glasses and inside seating. I would go given a 5* but I didn't see much cleaning of tables when customers left. I always do my own. It's a very busy place so I know it must be difficult for the staff to keep on top of it. FYI if you need to use the toilets I'd advise using the ones upstairs as they are usually cleaner than the one downstairs.

Lovely venue watching the people bustling back and forth King Street. Such lovely staff especially the Algerian brother who served me my Double hazelnut N caramel frappe was DÈ BOMMMMB, ohhhhh and the little salted caramel pieces!! Which were so crumbly and decadence in the making. I usually just resort to a normal chain of take away food arenas due to the coffee shops tend to ask N arm and a leg price wise and don't even reach the mark, when I tasted this frappe to begin with I LOST TRACK OF What my girlfriend was even saying, trust me, I was engrossed prior to tasting my GAWWWJUS drink but lost track of the train of thought after the process of the sugar rush feeling as if I could pole volt over the Mals roof garden above Lyric Square!! In a nut case...MAGNIFIQUE!!👌🏾💯❤🔥☕

Haven't been in Costa for many months as I recall but maybe I did once recently, as I have the memory of my table still having not been previously cleared. Does this kind of thing happen to non-pensioners? Well, I like to try different places and let's face it folks, there are so many to choose from these days, not just the famous three. Anyway, they seemed surprised that I had scanned my card into "Stocard" and they were pleasant with me. Mind you, I probably test their patience sometimes - not this time though. What did I have? It might have been when someone treated me to a cappuccino & our hot drinks went onto my Costa card as my friend didn't have one.

Friendly staff and good customer service, tea tends to cold quite quickly but vanilla latte is lovely. Also serves toast and jam,sadly only one variety of jam but still good.

Good place for coffee. Very luxurious. Nice clean place with lovely staff. But a bit expensive though, more expensive than Starbucks but cheaper than Pret.

Very Friendly Staff. The Only Downside is they have only 1 Toilet. Popular with Young Couples.

Enjoyed my Cappuccino here today. It was quite busy and I had to wait a few minutes in the Q. I had to clear a table as the staff were too busy to do the work but it was all worth it.

Rather expensive for what it is, especially the food. Often long queues. However, the hazelnut latte is up there with my favourite drinks, but I'd still say it's very overpriced.

Fast service, lovely staff. Never had a problem here. Lots of seating downstairs if you have a buggy which is great. Great selection of cakes, drinks & toasties. I like coming here for a catch up with friends.

The whipe cream of my caramel latte was sour, I asked for another one. They made me again and still sour.

Another Costa, this one is not even amongst the fancier ones. Staff was nice though. Everything else usual.

Large outlet and quite spacious. They close off the first floor early in the evening so can get busy at those times. Ideal for a quick bite/drink at lunch or early evening, most of the cakes/brownies run out by half 6 so get there quick. They do close relatively early but for Hammersmith that's to be expected as most retail stores close about 6ish and coffee places shortly after.

Not the fastest serving coffee shop in the area, but one of the best to sit down and relax at.

As a regular customer i love the staff and when ever i leave the place i leave with a big smile.

Nice place to go and meet up with friends when having day off work. However they do need to do something about the sofas as some of them are disgusting stains all over .surely the management can afford to replace them
