Costa Coffee in Allerdale

Went into the store today (17thDec) was served by a gent (Scottish?) Very pleasant, coffee delicious, service quick, and store very clean and tidy

I visited cockermouth costas today tues 17th Dec. Served by a tall gent , polite and helpful, very quick service and coffee was lovely .

Lovely hot drink and tea cake was excellent, service was first class and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Rarely open on Sundays, but it advertises that it is!

Very nice, very tasty and very nice people and fast and no problem even with my milk allergy they have soya and tastes delicious

The place and the staff were fine, however shutting at half 2 so that they can have a staff break which involves kicking all the customers out is a bit ridiculous. Find a way of having a break without having to kick everyone out.

Time for a quick update. Called here on a Monday afternoon to discover that they close for around 20mins for a staff break at 1430, this isn't on their opening hours, so please be aware, so in effect had to leave and finish my coffee elsewhere. Other than that, the staff were friendly enough. My first visit to this costa branch. Fast service, very friendly and helpful. A small branch compared with others I've visited, with limited (but ample) seating available. All the usual range of Costa products available.

A consistently good cup of coffee (or tea).

One girl on her own. Was polite and efficient but she really needs to engage with her customers and for God's sake Smile!

Today they took off the perspex shield. It was good to see. Service was great. Coffee was very good.

The barista on duty had to be related to an octopus as she was the sole person trying to take orders, make the coffees, take payment, organise the food and whilst under all that pressure be polite, pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately as she was the sole person trying to do everything there was a significant delay from ordering to receiving our drinks and cakes. Shame on Costa management for only having one person on duty on a Bank Holiday when there are so many people wishing to buy their food and drinks.

Clean and normal Costa coffee. Katie was the only staff member working, and even though was working flat out was super welcoming, attentive and quick.

Cash only but service was quick and cheerful. Hot Chocolate was lovely.

Although it was cash only, there was limited selection of food and no oat milk our experience was good. There was a cash machine right outside and the one woman behind the counter was friendly and efficient. Would go again.

I was very disappointed in the service today , although they were three people on it took over ten minutes to get served and just as I was about to get my coffee, it was given to someone who had come in after me , when I went to complain about it I was told we are making it now not even an apology.
