Costa Coffee in Liverpool

The place was clean and tidy. The staff very friendly and polite. We had two drinks, one was really nice (a mocha) and one was horrible (a coconut latte). Each drink made by a different barista.

Drink was fine, tasted slightly bland and icy. But the problem was the staff, more particularly the lad with the beard, didn’t have his name tag on so I didn’t know his name. Sounded like he was half bothered to do anything. I gave him a QR code to scan as my friend has an employee discount, the lad disregarded the QR code and thought it was Odeon Limitless. We said it was an employee discount to which he started swearing and saying “You should have told me that before it went through” so he had to process me a refund and start again. I asked for a small, to which he gave me a medium. I never write reviews, but this was so outrageous I had to write it. Go to Bromborough Costa instead, they’re far more friendly and welcoming
