Costa Coffee in Doncaster

Lovely staff and service as always.

It's an over priced coffee shop

A bit slow in serving but the capocinno is worth the wait.

Great coffee, good snacks, worth calling in for a drink and rest whilst your browsing around Doncaster Lakeside shopping centre.

I always love a visit to Costa coffee when visiting Lakeside. Start the day off right with a cappuccino and toast :) free babychino for the kids goes down a treat too!

Belive it or not when we called in they had no coffee so we had a Costa tea

Costa is not dog friendly 😒 but some mangers go against company policy . I won't be coming in here again . If I want smelly dogs 🐕 next to me when I'm eating , I will go to the kennels . Get your act together Costa Doncaster .

Their staffing is the best. Sweet foods are too sweet. Croissants are nice. Coffee is always nice. Cadbury chocolate powder is mixed with a lot of sugar. We always like to visit there but there were around 100 flies in the shop when we visited on 28/07/2024. We haven't been back there since then.

Always welcome coffee. Lovely place to visit, plenty of shops nearby.

Good quality coffee shop, can be busy at peak times, meaning the tables inside can fill up quite quickly, however many tables for use outside, which are ideal providing the weather is not inclement

Lovely staff, clean cafe. We sat outside with the dogs so can't really comment on the atmosphere but the customer service was great and lovely coffee.

average coffee but there’s so many flies inside. at least 10 in the bathroom and 20 in the cafe everywhere….move a chair and watch them all fly around….so unhygienic

Just the usual Costa and I would normally give 5 stars. I was going to order pastries but saw a fly crawling on them inside the glass cabinet on the counter so obviously I didn't.

Pretty much the same as any Costa Coffee. Just went in for a drink Toilets are never up to standard.

Tried one of the new iced whipped white Choc latte and was a little disappointed to be honest I think il stick to the caramel latte and caramel frappe from now on apart from that the service was outstanding

Tasteless decaff - not on a par with Nero, and other outlets. Small selection of vegan food, a bit better for vegetarians...

Clean and tidy on our visit today. It was reasonably busy but no cue to order. We had the blueberry and lemon muffins, which were very nice! The coffee was it's usual excellent standard. The lady that served us was cheerful and welcoming

Same as any Costa you would expect. There was a bit of a queue to get in. But it is summer holidays, so that's to be expected.

Slow service.. when we 1st arrived, the place was a mess, and nobody was in. 3 staff were there. Empty cups are left on tables.. and where they were making drinks, there was mess and rubbish everywhere on the top Once we ordered, it stated getting a bit busy, and one staff member finally decided to clean up and was sweeping round, but overall, it was a very untidy

Update: 03/04/23 - no cold drinks today... Gutted... A very nice flat white and a straight black americano - both as per Costa standard, very good. Plenty of seating today at 11am - 12:30 (Thursday). It's normally very busy on a weekend.

They've made this drive thru awful. Why put the card reader & points scanner outside!? What's wrong with it being at the till. Awful. Because it's on a bend you can't get close enough to it. Stupid idea. Won't be visiting again.

great coffee, nice staff. however, 2nd visit in 2 weeks. both times tables are not cleared of used cups and trays on both occasions. extra staff needed as the 2 staff there are, naturally, busy serving customers (and doing an excellent job). management need to pull their socks up here.

Best Costa in town, added convenience of getting a coffee from the drive thru before heading into work. Staff always pleasure to deal with.

Love this Costa and the staff but have they changed the opening hours? Past few times I've been early (5.50am) they have still been closed

Prompt and friendly service at the drive thru. I noticed the cafe is usually very busy too.

Great coffee but had a toasted cheese sandwich and it was terrible. £4.50 bloody expensive! It was only toasted on one side and the cheese inside was thinner than tracing paper. Too busy too complain so did not bother. Food is not gourmet but the prices suggest that it should be.

Hot drinks were nice, bacon butty tasty and great when bought as breakfast deal. Never seems clean, floors and on particular the toilet floor always looks like it needs a really good scrub.

We went to the main Costa in the outlet itself. Food was okay but we arrive at 16:30 and the rear half if the restaurant was blocked off for cleaning. The closing time was 18:00 hrs. Of the 9 tables remaining 8 were taken and there were 3 people in the queue. A kind gentleman said that him and his wife were leaving so my wife cleared the table whilst I queued for the meal. Not brilliant.

Costa coffee is what it is where ever you go you get the same quality coffee they have to offer

Nothing wrong with staff or food but the store was infested with flies apparently from surrounding area. This spoilt our visit but will call again. Hopefully flies will have gone 👍

Personally think there are better Coffee shops in Marshalls Yard, the staff zre often abrupt and miserable.

Went today and the whole place was crawling in flies it was disgusting flies crawling on everything.

The cafe was swarmed by flies. There were at least 50 on the wall when i walk in. I did not stay.

The toilet was disgusting sorry!!
