is the worst person to ever work for Costa avoid this shop at all costs

The barista was very skillful doing multiple orders, and she still kindly gave me a free lemon tart for waiting. Thank you!

So horrible service and situation there,I use to love Costa and it’s on my way to work,so I was always happy to crab my coffee and breakfast from there,until two days ago yesterday and today. I really like the new hazel maple frappe. So first both the times given me so hard time until they make the frappe,they also behave very rude,today and yesterday they actually made me feel very stupid being there and waste my money on a so horrible behaviour and not even they tried to help.. obviously there is no smile and they really made me feeling like I owe them something.. the Asian Cashier the worst service ever.. I’m in the hospitality for 20+ years and I never like to do a review,this is my first because for the last two days they really make me feel so stupid being there and wasting 4.50£ for a frappe.. and obviously the hazel maple frappe has nothing to do with this one they served me today.. the worst ever. And imagine I pay money for that today.check the picture and check their advert how the maple hazel frappe looks like

The place is lovely, quite and relaxing. The staff are amazing, polite, professional, friendly and very hardworking. I've visited on a few separate occasions, including weekends (when it's never easy to keep the same focus as during the week), and the service I received as well as the attitude of the team were always top quality. Great example that many could learn from!

Served a piece of cake that was so stale it was rock hard. They did replace but only with another piece of the same stale cake that had been clearly sat there for quite a while.

In all these years, and all the Costa stores I visited this place made the worst coffee. It was my first try of this place and the latte they made was awful

I ordered a flat white to go and specified that I wanted the milk warm not hot instead of that the male barista made it proper hot. I was waiting for 12 minutes for a coffee. I understand they were about to close but… Male barista is quite friendly tho compare to the blonde female barista that doesn’t greet not even thanks when she collected payment. 0 stars.

Croissant wasn't fresh, but overall it is OK.

Nice place with friendly staff, the queuing system is strange this is during corona, but apart from that a nice Costa, drinks were served quickly. But there does need to be better instructions on how to order and where to stand etc.

Half term October 2020 and Costa is empty!

Drinks were good but ordered of app took money but no order went to the shop had to buy again. Even though I showed my back statement of the money being taken and matched it to the app order I had mad...

I used to work here between '98/'99 when I was a student. I wondering if everything's still the same. I miss my ex coworkers. It was a very nice place to work, I use to serve George Michael and 007 some times.

Very clean and friendly also had the vegan ham and cheese on toast which was very good.

Really nice area, I went for a walk around Hampstead Heath then took a drinks break here. Nice place and the staff are really friendly. It is in Highgate though so it will be a little pricey.

With my two old friends Mike and Peter , we used to visit every Saturday morning before Lockdown for a catch up ... ilona the manager and her team are the nicest and friendliest baristas in town . I do hope we can resume our Saturday sessions soon. I miss the coffees the welcome and the bike ride up Swains Lane .

Simetimes staff is making very bad caffee

Probably the slowest service I've experienced in a Costa Coffee ever. I think I waited more than 15 minutes to get an Americano, I would suggest getting more staff at peak times or train your Batista's better before dropping them in the deep end.

Had a cappuccino made by a trainee it was so strong it was unbelievable when I asked for some milk it was as if I had done something wrong I go to various Costas around London every day so I know what their cappuccino should be like if you have a trainee they should be properly supervised until the manager is shaw they are making the coffees correctly

Coming here is always a welcoming and hospitable experience the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the coffee and always have service with a smile. Ilona is very helpful and always remembers my order even if I haven't been for a while. I highly recommend this coffee shop more than any other I've been to. Jake 🙂

It's Highgate...it's Costa...it's got very friendly staff. What's not to like? About 8mins walk from Highgate cemetery, too, so you can visit that then have a sit down with a coffee and ginger biscuit. Sit in the window and watch life go by. Secluded back area is nice and calm. Only one toilet though, so "expect a queue for no.2".

Standard clean, middle of the road coffee chain. Better than Starbucks but same breed of mall and high street template. If you prefer character in your coffee house, most cities have better choices. But if you're far from home and want a little reliable brand name homogeneous reliability, Costa will be a welcome sight.

Today the staff was so rude. I asked a vanilla latte and they give a really bad vanilla latte and they didn't ask me if i want to stay in or take away.... Really bad service....

I've been coming to this costa coffee every morning between 6:30am - 7am while work brought me near by. The service even at this time (busy builder hour) is on point rapid and friendly from my very first visit. The coffee is consistent - (that's what we care about the most) and the ability to remember customers orders seems to be a point of personal pride to the staff here.

OK coffee shop but quality varies. Better than the well known American chain.

As always it is a place where tables are always full. Office workers shoppers pile in for take aways and a quick lunch. Having a wider menu would help. Some people linger on so do mother's feeding babies. A good place for a busy high street.

Love a good Costa, as always. This one is right on the main street, with street parking close by. Friendly staff, free WiFi and plugs close at hand for laptops.

Usually open till 7pm, so good place to meet after work. But staff a bit hit and miss, and seem itching to close after 6.30pm.

This particular branch narrow and gloomy with dim lighting. Efficient service, clean and comfortingly formulaic without challenging expectations. Adequate and anodyne.

Is quite a nice place to have coffee the staff is very friendly and the coffee is always good. The offer the standard Costa chain products. Dont like the layout of the shop is not cosy and I always find it quite dark.

Nothing spectacular, coffee is okay. Doesn't get too busy so makes for a good place to spend a few hours getting work done. Staff are a bit hit and miss, some are pleasant - others are still finding their feet. Better experience than Nero's where everyone seems robotic - but could be much better.

Lovely cheerful staff, the shape of the place is a bit mismatch (long and narrow) so at busier times it's not the most comfortable place to be. Coffee was a bit weak but nice regardless.

It's a nice place to have a coffee. Mainly because the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Resonable coffee and food, but blasting customers with freezing cold air conditioning in winter is bad news. It's a common practice used to move people on before busy periods and it's not acceptable. I've stopped going there for lunch. Any cafe where people have to sit around in their coats is bad business.

Staff here are very friendly and bubbly and have an amazing ability to remember your order consisting of 7 various drinks!! Lol

"Costa is Costa, so I'm not going to bother reviewing the coffee and food. Its all about the location then, and you don't get many places as nice as Highgate. There seems to be a mix of two types of customer here, cyclists on their way somewhere, and well to do locals who can afford to live in exclusive Highgate. This makes for a generally friendly and agreeable coffee drinking experience if nothing else. Size wise this is probably a medium sized branch, and although thin at the front, it does go back some way. I thoroughly recommend the 10 minute walk to Hampstead Heath after your morning" (c)
