Good coffee but otherwise not outstanding in friendliness or service

Superb service as always, and great coffee.

Day we visited they was short staffed. Tables wasn't cleaned and long wait at till.

Staff are rude not happy about the way the guy that works here. Having trouble with our app and he spoke to us like we were very stupid. He served us in the wrong place and when we asked where to scan it he was rude . Avoid the guy as the woman are nice

The drinks were nice, but I had to wait a bit as your associate was having a chat with her friend. The shop was a mess as there were empty cups and plates on some of the tables.

The very worst weakest bland most horrid coffee on the high street at sky high prices. Disgusting coffee no taste at all. The place is always full of people who drink Nescafé in the house and don't have a clue what real coffee tastes like. 👎👎👎👎

Not how I remember it very poor service barista spent more time talking than serving won't be going back there any time soon

Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a panini which probably could have done with cooking a little longer as cheese wasn't melted

An excellent place to come read a book in the morning alongside a slice of cake, definitely the tiffin slices, highly recommend!

Its a Costa, it will never get 5 stars as its set up to get people in and out and there is always a queue because they never employ enough staff. You go into Costa because its convenient and the coffees are always good.

The tall middle-aged gentleman with glasses needs a lesson in customer service. I've never come across such a pompous person in a Customer facing role in my life. Certainly not a good advert for Costa. I have visited this coffee shop most weeks since it opened. However, I don't think I will visit again as I would rather spend my money in a coffee shop who values my custom. On another note the ladies that work there are hard working and friendly.

Absolutely disgusting, went for coffee afternoon today, was served by a girl , took the coffee outside sat down in table, how rude without any respect comes rude and swears insults that I took a satchel coffee, when I asked him too show on CCTV, he denies become deluded indenial hippocryte, it's unbelievable how this guy is the manger running this place, no wonder it's kinda empty. Will be complaining too head office

Great place to grab a quick drink or have a catch-up with a friend the service from the staff could be more welcoming but all in all its a great place to relax

One of my favourite places to get coffee and a cookie. Worth a visit for those cold days when you need to warm up with a hot choc., or those hot days where only an iced coffee will do.

Friendly staff. Got what I asked for.

The store manager Will kicked my girlfriend and I out of the store after I drank from a pepsi bottle, because they are “owned by coca cola”. He asked me to put the drink away so I took one last sip from it before putting it away in my bag, then he kicked off saying we have to leave because I took a sip of it.

Great shop, good amount of support, just by the river. Good view of the castle ruins.

Coffee is good but service is slow.

I dropped in to get a coffee whilst out for a walk. Lady who served me really friendly. There was a gentleman as batista and made a nice coffee. Had a sit in latte and cappuccino with a friend and when we went to left took my try back to the counter with the empty cups as I could see the barista was now on his own as I thought it would help him. Unfortunately his attitude was quite frankly offhand. He stated that the trays should be returned to the tray station as leaving them on the counter made more work. Considering we were the last few people to be in there before closing I would have thought I was helping. Oh well I know what to do next time. There is just no pleasing some

Nice staff. Especially helpful to the elderly and infirm. Foods typically Costa. Bordering on expensive. Nice location on the riverbank. Great on a summer's day

No pets allowed so was asked to sit out in the freezing cold. My partner felt ignored while waiting to be served. Cabinet was empty of any cakes etc so we left and went to a much cosier cafe across the bridge called The Welsh Bakery...better prices, better ambience, better service all round. I don't usually put negative reviews but Costa needs to up it's game.

This is the main Costa me and my family go to. The staff are always lovely and make you feel welcome

Lovely (if expensive) coffee, but some tables hadn't been cleared even though they weren't busy, and even though they were open till 6pm they turned off the background music at 5.30pm.

We have popped into this Costa several times to grab a coffee and a biscuit (and to use WC!) as it is particularly handy for the bus station in Haverfordwest. Pleasant clean spacious seating area with welcoming and helpful staff (what we have come to expect from Costas generally tbh) and it is open a bit later than other cafes locally. Thumbs up all round!!

Don't get along with the coffee here, hot chocolate is not too bad though.

Just had an AWFUL experience in this Costa. the middle aged man with glasses at the till had a discussing attitude and was smug and rude. he denied me service because I had no id on me to verify my track and trace and forced my friends and I (the three people I was with filled in their track and trace as well as giving id) I was perfectly compliant and he was rude, didn't look at me when he spoke he insulted me and my friends who were just seeking shelter from the sun and a cold drink, and has made me feel threatened and has lost the shop service. I'd advise to coasta to either fire him or get some staff customer training. you've lost a life long customer :///

Friendly, efficient, worth paying a lot for the coffee because of the service.

Takeaway trip only due to current restrictions but staff member could not have been more friendly, and helpful too. Even checked expired cards for us and provided us with help getting points transferred. Drinks were spot on too. Will definitely be back. Found it very good value for money, and clean and tidy. Chose to go to this store rather than the one out of town centre due to parking/queuing, glad I did.

I asked the attendant to wash a outside table as was minging after anouther couple left. His words were he would pretend to but doesnt come up clean. He then moaned about the 70% alchol wipe i had used to wipe table as we sat down that was black on wiping. Telling me to get rid as cant be too careful He told me that even though he sprayed it that it still looked dirty. My comment was least the sugar and sticky substance had gone that i failed to remove with a wipe. Found it absolutely discusting these tables are not being washed in between customers Then moaning to customers at doing it. Wont be visting again

They have got social distancing correct, so you feel safe

Hello. I am a big costa lover and today I have been 😞. I have been served by middle aged man who prepared me 2 caramel frosting with a coffee but not of them had some. I watched him preparing my drinks and the coffee has not been added. I asked him if the coffee is there and he lied to me saying it is. Both coffies were white in colour like milkshake. Big disappointed!!!!

Thoroughly unhelpful staff members. Tried without success to register for their track and trace policy. Offered no help when trying to access it via their WiFi. Had no 4G coverage so unable to scan QR code. Coffee was satisfactory. Customer service exceedingly poor.

Absolutely discusted by managers attitude towards customers, mocking them and making comments about them as they left the shop, dehaviour toward a disabled gentleman was shocking, Worst behaviour I've witnessed, obviously on a power trip. using a sliding rule to humiliate a female customer sitting outside who was 6 inches too close to an other table. . As regular custom of several years very sad to witness this attitude.Coffee#1 from now on.

Not welcoming. Chap went past my table 14 times without clearing the cluttered leftovers of the previous customers while I sipped my Latte. Very poor service!

Best Costa staff in Pembrokeshire. I have a Costa just 5 minutes from home, but I still travel 7 miles to the Best Costa shop in Haverfordwest. 😊😊😊

I thought the service I received yesterday from the guy with glasses was in my opinion quite rude and cocky.. Was no need to speak to customers in such a manner. I thought the customer was always right, I must be wrong then. 🤣 I never go in there I only went because of recommendation but with service like that I won't be returning.

Weather is a bit damp but is nice cup of coffee always cheers me up.

The staff are great really friendly and welcoming. Being disabled nothing was too much trouble. Amy assistant manager remembered me from a year ago which made me feel good. Always the first place I go to when I arrive in Haverfordwest. Taking 5 friends there tomorrow for coffee and toast. Highly recommended in my book won't use any other coffee shop. Head for Costa wherever I go

Excellent venue overlooking the river. Usually busy but there is ample seating both inside and out. Very friendly and efficient staff. Food and drink are as you'd expect from any Costa café. Great place to meet with friends and family. High chair facilities for the little ones.

Always a great welcome from the friendly Baristas, excellent choice of coffee, cakes and savory snacks, unfortunatly, new manage does not have the same get up and go as previous manager, as his attitude stinks and think will be going the extra distance to Debenhams for a better welcome.

Love a Costa coffee now and again, always try to have one when I'm in town, much nicer than any Starbucks and far cheaper too!
