Costa Coffee in Newark and Sherwood

Overpriced and underwhelming coffee. This isn't unique to this particular Costa. It's the same level at all of them unfortunately. My advice is always to go local and support local businesses first when wanting a caffeine fix 😊

Quick service and surprisingly good toasties!!

Very delicious coffee definitely better than in Costa Stodman St, Newark. Definitely better service and barista. If you want a good coffee and a beautiful drawing, I recommend it.

Slow service. 3 members of staff. All working on a single drink order before us. No apology and just excuses from rude staff members! Also gave me cream when asked not too. What happened to allergy management!

Asked to use the toilet, given the code and advised female staff member (Saturday lunch time) that the toilets was blocked, she shrugged her shoulders, my daughter asked if she could use the toilet in the baby changing area, to which she replied you will have to wait, get the key of the person currently using it. When taking food order she never spoke! This member of staff some customer service training!

Coffee and cake with friends. Food is always fresh and delicious.

Ok service although it is quite annoying that they dont ask you if you want a flake or marshmallow with your Baby Chino.

The worst experience I've had in a coffee shop! 4 staff on and all like their first day. Clearly never had any training and it was like watching 4 sloths at work. Couldn't blame them but whoever put them all on together in the deep end needs to rethink their position. I didn't order drinks ourely as they were taking approx 10 mins to make each one so just ordered 2 cakes and a tuna melt. After queuing for 15 mins (only 2 in front of us) we got served, 20 minutes later i asked for a refund. During the whole time we were there they had served 4 customers! Not one of them were happy.

Service was slow. Ordered 2 flat whites and a latte. After 20 minutes of waiting we received the latte and 2 flat whites and received the other flat white after another 10 minutes to only realise the flat whites were actually cappuccinos

Very nice little coffee shop that joins onto the odeon cinema, nice polite staff that was very helpful.

Clean and comfortable this Costa offers a welcome to its customers via a helpful and friendly staff. Shame it's still closing early and isn't available for evening movie goers.

Nice little Costa under the cinema. Bit draughty through the door today, but its a cold wet and miserable day. Had a tea, nice full cup and hot on arrival (was brought to table). Friendly staff, would use for meetings again - thank you.

Usual Costa fair but one of the most spacious and clean Costa's I've been in. Staff very helpful in explaining the new App.

Order 4 large hot chocolates and they were all cold. Waiting far too long for them aswell.

Ordered my coffee at 1.30pm this Wednesday. I payed for said coffee but never received it. Might be new staff or might be just scamy work ethic

Visited costa to buy 2 hot takeaway drinks on a Friday evening at 8:42pm , ordered drinks paid and when asking where the toilets were was told they are shut as we are closing in 15 minutes. Discussed is a polite word for how I felt when told we will take your money but not allow you to visit the toilets , I complained quite a bit to the result of them opening the toilets so I could use them . I will never visit this Costa again despite how frequently I’m in the area !!!!! Poor managing of the premises in my opinion , customers satisfaction should be your first priority.

Great drinks and friendly staff

Clearly the "friendly staff" aren't working today. Asked for 5 drinks, 2 were wrong and when we told them the barista shouted that that was what we had asked for. Even my 9 year old was shocked at how the staff spoke to us. If you don't like your job, get a different one.

Friendly staff. Good coffee. Like all Costas takes a while to get the coffee especially if there is anyone else in the queue.
