Lovely warm, clean environment, Sarah was really attentive to customers, helping with app questions as well as making Lovely drinks, food, great service thx

Not as clean and tidy as my usual Costa and the cookie I ordered was soaking wet for some reason, although they did replace it with a fresh one. Definitely room for improvement.

Being lactose intolerant, I ordered an Oat Latte but was served with an ordinary milk latte. When questioned, the barista said he had no idea whether what was in the glass was Oat milk or not!! You'd think a barista would (a) be able to tell, (b) be able to read the till ticket saying "oak milk" and (c) apologise for their error rather than saying "no idea, I've made so many". I expected Costa to handle intolerances and allergies more competently than this.

Coffee and Cake is good and the service is friendly but the decor is looking a bit dated. Lacking a bit of atmosphere. On the plus side, it's the only coffee shop open (until 6pm) after about 4pm in Ashbourne!

Hello, today their was a lady in your store with a service dog. I really felt for this lady as there was a terrible woman who clearly was very uneducated about what service dog does. The manager acted professional and approached the lady to resolve the matter and she was even shouting at him as she complained about the service dog. Well done to the staff for realising what a service dog is all about! So sorry to this lady with her service dog! Bless her, must have been so upsetting for her

Would like to remark on the professionalism of the staff and management after our visit today myself and my wife went into the shop with our PTSD service dog after being rudely confronted by another customer about my wife’s disability as it wasn’t visible The woman in question was very rude and obviously uneducated The staff handed the situation very well 5 stars

Had a skinny latte as a takeaway, staff were really nice and checked if I had a Costa card to scan. Lots of food choices and they were well stocked. Lots of seating inside, would definitely visit again and might sit inside next time.

Good coffee, kind albeit unnecessarily stressed service which made for a slightly less relaxing trip.

Kept us going throughout lockdown & beyond. Always friendly staff working hard against the backdrop of Covid-19, mask-wearing & sometimes very busy times. With Costa you know what you're getting. Might not be the cheapest, but so reliable.

I went to Costa coffee ☕ House 🏡 and I was disappointed with the service, unfriendly, pushed far to rapidly along, totally unprofessional and no effort made in the preparation of the coffee the staff were so so🤔, I have been to many Costa house's and I love their coffee ☕ but the place looked dull no nice atmosphere to match the coffee ☕ and food 🍰🍪and the outside of house 🏡 was very sloppy with serviettes, cigarette buts and waste food on the ground, there was enough staff on duty so there was no need to have the place so unkempt, pitty,

Had a free cake for my birthday but there was no carrot cake, not a happy bunny, I love carrot cake. Coffee was as good as ever.

Branch of Costa Coffee in Ashbourne. Usual Costa fare and décor. Tea, sandwich and a shortbread. All pretty good but standard. Branch fairly clean and tidy. Toilet available but, irritatingly, the hand dryer wasn't working. Tables being cleared well and wiped down. Bit of a queue for service or for drinks but nothing unusual. All in all, good!

Went for coffee whilst in Ashbourne. Damp miserable day and was quite chilly inside with aircon. Lovely coffee but the room at the back where we sat was quite dismal.

So pleased we popped in for a drink. The staff was so kind and chatty, the shop was so clean and tidy. Tables were spotless. Drinks were fantastic as usual and even gave me a little extra milk for my son. Price is usual costa price, but I think worth it. Will definitely be back soon . Thanks Steve Katie and Harry

Still the best coffee with treats and sweets. Take away only for the minute. Socially distanced with sanitiser. Friendly and helpful staff.

Costa Ashbourne is mostly very friendly service and staff really embrace the company initiatives. Good individualised coffee too.

I shall Not be visiting Costa Ashbourne again. I have now encountered the person with bright coloured hairs attitude twice in recent weeks she wore no mask or gloves to make my drink but scolded me for touching a cup carrier which had to be thrown away because I had dared to touch it by mistake. She clearly is not customer focused. Come on Costa your customers are your business no customers no business.

Visited Ashbourne costa today and never again ..... never have a ever been served by such a rude person with really bad attitude think she was maybe manageress as she was not in Costa uniform absolutely awful ,,,lady on the till pleasant but think even she felt intimidated by the other ladies attitude ... don’t visit here there’s plenty of other places in Ashbourne doing takeout drinks and snacks go there where you will be treated better

Such an amazing place. Food is always delicious and the coffee is the best ever!! Staff are always helpful and polite full, nothing ever seems to be too much for them. It also helps, no matter which branch you visit, service, taste, delivery, its all the same which means you know what value you're getting, no matter which branch you're in

Well managed with the COVID-19 situation

the drink tasted of mouldy water and had no flavour of what it was meant to be!!!! not only that but the lady serving was rude and grumpy. I will not be going back anytime soon, and I would recommend for you not to either!

Good coffee, as you'd expect, but really disappointed by laissez faire approach to test & trace. No evidence of staff reminding or encouraging people to follow poster / QR code compliance so hardly anyone is bothering with it. We need to! Support the NHS and public health in controlling future spikes this winter, please.

Just another coffee shop, but clean efficient, lovely staff, well lit for reading or writing.

Definitely one of the better Costa stores. Very clean and tidy with plenty of seating available with wheelchair / pram access not an issue Very friendly staff. Usual range of coffees & teas available with a selection of hot and cold food to take away or eat in. The store seems keen to support the work of their foundation - the guys are always dressed up and there are books & DVDs for sale in store. Reward points are available via the costa card or phone app. You can also get free WIFI in this store.

Costa is one of my fav places and this one in ashborne is quaint really enjoyed the coffee and the cake I had.

Good, however many tables were dirty and had to be cleaned upon us asking.
