Staff very impolite, and spoke rudely. Doesn’t have quality for customer service and satisfaction.

Have ordered drinks on the app for collection at this store and they are always ready on time as expected. The service is friendly. There is some seating inside. Lots of additional food items available to eat in or take away. Easily located on a corner for great visibility. I would recommend.

No comment there is a reason why it is only empty coffee shop in West Hampstead.

Good space to do work, they have a downstairs with cowork style seating. WiFi is slow though

Good Costa branch with typical coffee/sandwich/sweet Costa offerings. We use it frequently on route to work. Being next to train station gets it much traffic during the day. The extra low floor is fantastic for work with individuals work stations and power/USB. Staff real nice and efficient. Toilet conditions can be a let down occasionally.

Sent uncooked food when cooked food was ordered

I don't normally write reviews of chain coffee shops, but I had a really good experience when I visited on Sunday. My husband spilt coffee all over the tray and his chocolate brownie(!), so I went up the counter to get some tissues. A lovely member of staff said not to worry and came over to clean it herself, brought us new saucers without us asking and even offered to replace the brownie :) All without a hint of making us feel bad for inconviencing her. Sadly, I didn't get her name. But thank you for the great service!!

Such a lovely branch! I usually go in person but its great to see their customer service still shines through via delivery. They didn't have the Almond Croissants so sent plain instead along with a little hand written note. Thank you so much, I really appreciated it! 🥰

I went to Costa this morning to pick up a cup of coffee as usual. I noticed a long queue as they appeared to be short staffed. I waited patiently, only for another customer to push in front of me, the staff did not intervene on my behalf as a result it was left to me alert the pushy customer that i have been in the queue. This is the worst customer service i have ever received since been a customer for a number of years as i live locally. However, from now on i shall avoid going to Costa especially on a Friday if this is the standard customer service to expect going forward. It is truly disappointing as historically, the staff have been friendly, engaging and efficient.

My choice of coffee bar is costa, I rate my favourite. And this place is my best. The decor, cleanness, service, atmosphere are perfect for my time alone and work.

Just the food was incredibly underwhelming, staff were amazing 🫶🏽

This place is designed for a quick coffee takeaway and delivers on that fantastically. I have never had to queue up for long and the order is ready very quickly. There is an indoor seating area available that's split into 2 levels with plenty of seating. Also, I like the coffee served here compared to the next door shop :) One thing they really need to change is the TV screen menu which keeps flipping so much that it takes literally minutes of staring at screens to get back to the desired view to figure out what's new in the menu. Please have some form of fixed menu to help the customers.

I am sorry to say this but most staff members are confused and intend to confuse the orders and that's very annoying. That's why personally I don't go there anymore

I order hot chocolate..a miserable lady served me cold milk mixed with chocolate powder …terrible hot chocolate drink ever had in my entire life…

I liked the refurbished since we last went there, West Hampstead branch.

Service not as good as I expected, we order one toasty, when it’s ready, the girl just threw tissues on top of our toasty. Should tissues been placed on side of the toasty? Why the girl threw tissue on top of toasty like throwing some rubbish? Her behavior made toasty not so tasteful.

Hi I am writing this review to express a very disgusting behaviour I have encountered today at Costa West Hampstead which I never thought to either happen or mention on this section and utterly disgusted To whom this may concern in management, I made an order today Saturday at around 12:10pm as there was three female staff serving customers. which there weren’t many customers to serve at time made me wait for so long that passing order among each other and serving some other customers who came after me for no reason. I was shocked and upset for the long wait, right after I received my coffee I asked them to be more organised and shouldn’t left my order to be served after long debate between themselves which I said it’s rude and instead of good gesture apologising to me “this would never happen again”; one of them jumped on ship and started attacking me viciously with her attitude ohhh don’t order here you can go away if you don’t like; as if I’m a kid Unfortunately, I can’t tolerate this behaviour as I’ve been a long loyal customer to costa ordering coffee exclusively from their branches but this incident has left me anxious and would like to make a formal complaint

Very impressed with the staff on duty at the West Hampstead branch yesterday. Rakib and Adea clear enjoyed working together crated a good atmosphere making the mundane tasks I was having to complete on my laptop almost enjoyable. They’re the best double act since ‘Piers and Susannah’

Very lovely place. The waitress Aulona was very helpful and very quick with her work. I strongly suggest her to receive a pay rise as she is a very good worker.

The cakes were very stale, they were probably sitting there overnight

I followed the opening times on google which were slightly incorrect. I have sent in an edit :-) Despite being time to close (7pm) the staff kindly served me quickly and very pleasantly thanked me when I said I'd send in a Google edit for them. A lovely experience.

Lovely Costa Recently refurbished and all the staff so far have been friendly . Coffee a d hot chocolate nice and hot . A lot better in every aspect since the refurb .

Order a latte and desert, took an hour and half when it’s a ten minute journey, I understand difficulty that may happen but today’s service was really bad

Good spot to grab a coffee on the go

There are 2 floors in this Costa, the seatings indoor are planty. Everything seems to be newly refurbished so it's still very comfortable and new! Probably one of the most beautiful Costa I have ever been. I didn't get any bad customer experience from the staff but the only time I'm with them is when I ordered, so don't have much to say about it.

I had a strawberry n cream, was not nice. Doesn't have outdoor seating, only one or 2 chairs, so not my favourite costa

Please clean up cups and litter from tables outside more frequently! There’s always litter which then blows into the street

The worst customer service, that lady with red hair in the cashier was the rudest ever. I will never go to this branch and I wish the management tell her a little bit about customer service and how to deal with people since she is the face of Costa here.

Coffee went everywhere in the bag

Aggressive uncaring staff. Distinct lack of politeness and a poorly made coffee. I've been getting morning coffee here for a long time. But it has become so bad, that I'm no longer interested in coming here. Today, the barista over filled the cup with too cold milk, then found there wasn't enough space for the coffee, so only put half of the cup in there, leaving me with a warm cup of milk. I assume Costa don't actually read these reviews but if they do, there is a tall male, large build, dark hair. He is a terrible barista, you may do better moving him to somewhere not front of house.

New concept coffee shop with a fantastic work zone downstairs! Staff are very friendly and coffee is good too.

They've offered me a refund, but put my coffee to go when I was on the other side of the counter and sold me the wrong cookie. I will be in sometime next week when it's convenient to be in West Hampstead - just stopped through on my way home. Did you use soy milk or did you lie about that I feel like you want to hurt me.

The coffee was ok but I couldn’t enjoy it as I made the mistake of using the disabled toilet after ordering my drink and it was absolutely filthy. Shockingly so, especially in the current climate of a coronavirus pandemic. This branch really needs to sort out the cleaning. I wouldn’t return as so off-putting.

Staff in there? Disappointing, it used to be my favourite coffee place but there is a newish blonde tall barista who always pretend to do something else or not to see me even if i am the only customer, and this is alwaysss, rude , not my place anymore

Cosy Costa. I had to clean the cups & dishes from the table and clean it up because it was the only table available. Service ok.

The view was nice but one of the staff members was loud and obnoxious. It's ok if it's for people on the go but when you want to sit and relax, it's overall a bad atmosphere

The blonde barista with lip fillers seemed exasperated to even be there and got annoyed at me for ordering a hot chocolate. Maybe she was having a bad day.

I visited today and was appalled at the service. There was a fat lady working there with black hair and glasses and she always gives me half my drink i have told her off and she mimics me and then does it. She should be fired as she cannot going to people giving them half a drink. Was really annoyed today it ruined my day. I am highly unlikely to visit again and if i do i will make sure not to get served by her. All the other staff are great and welcoming so keep it up good staff!

I used to come here every day to get work done. I don't go anymore because of how rude one staff member is. Getting served by her ruins my day. I have never in my life seen such angry customer service. The rest are nice and work hard and are friendly and polite. It's a shame, because the cafe was becoming a bit of a sanctuary where I would arrive and be friendly with the staff before getting down to work. Now it's a coffee served usually not how you asked for it, with anger from the offset and even more anger if you ask for anything she didn't give you the first time, whether it be a saucer or a spoon or basic human respect.

Music got louder and louder for the benefit of the workers not the customers. You could not hear yourself think. I complained and asked them to turn the noise down but the young lady called Leart refused. I have complained to head office. The staff are there to serve us not the other way around. We pay their wages. Terrible experience I won't be returning.

Really vile. Even in cold weather they blast old freezing cold air-con, and ignore you if you ask for it to be turned off. It's obviously a disgusting attempt to make one buy more hot drinks. Some of the staff are friendly but others are surly and disinterested - clearly recruitment isn't of importance, it's all about £££ - but we knew that already - watch out for their deliberate sandwich rip-offs with very little between the bread. "A supplier problem" they claimed - hmmm, really?

Small but has plenty of seating and I always get great customer service here. Perfect for a quick pick me up on the way to the tube station.

Need to do something about the smell from the toilets and their general cleanliness in the bathrooms. Service is friendly though.
