Staff super friendly and super efficient whats not to like

Served by a miserable guy who needs to learn how to smile. Place needs a good clean, chairs stained by food and drinks, a real drab place. Won't be going again.

What can I say? I needed a breather after visiting Royal Oldham and this Costa fit the bill perfectly. Lovely new, clean premises. Great coffee as always. Found a table but it seemed lively. I love the North and its people. 🥰

Great service, staff + tasty drinks. Extra thanks to the man making coffees on his own today who had to stop and clean up after a customer who spilt his coffee on the floor. Thanks for working extra hard and keeping me and my baby safe from slipping. Loved the £2 treat drop, thanks Costa.

Door always open I have immune disorder. Always cold in here. Full of flies.

Place needs a deep clean. Staff need to smile. Please stop using chipped crockery. Toilets were dirty.

Fly inside the cake ile so won't be eating cake from there anytime soon. Also this place need a deep clean. Furniture is worn and fabric is dirty. Nice coffee but I the place inside no longer reflects Costa.

Poor service and toast served twice freezing cold couldn’t spread butter on them.

Always spot on. Had a free cake for my birthday, whoop whoop, cake and coffee at 9am. The beginning of a chocolate and cake eating marathon day.

Not bad to stay for short period of time. Gets real busy and sometimes you have to wait for a long time for your order

Great place. Used as a venue for a meeting. WiFi was fine and managed to get a seat with a power socket nearby.

Like I previously stated sometimes during lunch times when we have limited time available that branch is little slow to process orders.

Some routine items keep getting finished even at the beginning of the day, slower service during peak hours.

It was very busy when I visited. Not sure if its always that busy. Like any costa, you will find hot food and fridge items, coffee and Sugary options. Toilts needs cleaning and were not looked at.

Staff need to be more customer friendly...when I asked what muffins were available on the £1 deal I was told "those on display love". Not the answer I wanted!!

Coffee is good but service was very slow and tables and chairs dirty. We were there at 10:15am took us till 10:35am to get our order

I got a caramel latte and toasted tea cake. The lady who served me was super friendly, patient and helpful. I had my puppy with me (you can take them in but paws can’t touch the floor). The lady brought my coffee outside for me and another brought by tea cake. It was incredibly busy but they were all very patient. Thanks team!! Keep up the good work.

They can be very slow and the staff can't do more then 1 drink at a time. Waited 20 mins to be served.!

Great coffee and the best drinking chocolate but soooo slow. Always got plenty staff on but system is just not right. I can never understand why when there are 4 people behind the counter it still takes forever to get my order. 🤷

You get a big cup of coffee but that's it and it's quite pricey too! Six pound odd for two big mugs of coffee is a bit steep for me and it's nothing special. Just an institute for my friend I was with but even they said they'd have got coffee elsewhere now.

This is the best costa we have found. Always friendly staff excellent food and drinks and very clean. Not a problem to make fresh filter coffee as most other costa's just can't be bothered and suggest a americano instead. even a kiddies playground outside. A credit to costa.

Why does it cost over £3 for a white coffee? I went next door to Subway, far cheaper for the same thing.

My wife an I enjoy Costa. However, it is nice when a members of the staff go as far as remembering aspects of your order and endeavour to be especially kind. That's the case regarding the young man who serves there, usually making the drinks. It's one of the reasons that - although my the time of the day we arrive there, there not be the choices that we would make - we are happy to return.

Busy, helpful staff. Nice and clean.

Great little coffee shop, I regularly use this Costa when at the retail park as its close to the park. I have had to use the toilets a few times for the little one so buy a coffee whilst I sit and watch him in the playground out the front. I would recommend as the staff are friendly and it is clean and comfortable.

In a good spot and very clean, evidence of sanitizing and the staff were wiping everything and sweeping after the families had left only complaint was the aircon it wasnt the warmest day yet they had it on full blast.

Coffee is ok, nothing special. Seem to care more about getting you through the door than treating you well once you're in. Told my 7 month pregnant wife she couldn't use the toilet after buying 3 drinks because of "policy". Much nicer places around that care about their customers.

Look, the staff are great (when they're in the mood), the product is average at best, but the price! Omg they charge an absolute fortune for next to nothing!

The store is nice, as is the coffee. But I applied for a job here and waited 2 weeks for a response. Never came. I then looked at Indeed (where I applied) and they had already hired someone. Could have atleast had the common curtesy to tell me im not fit for the job

Got in my car on Saturday morning, next minute I've got a flat tyre, proper flat, went to petrol station for air, picked up my friend from Shaw called here on way back to home, he did it straight away for me and was quite reasonably priced.

Friendly, relaxed environment. Delicious variety of drinks, I love the plant based milk alternatives! Staff were vigilant about sanitizing seating areas after someone had left. Queues go down fast & seating usually becomes available fairly quick after a short wait.

Really really slow service. Baristas too busy talking and laughing with each other leaving a very long queue of customers at the time. Also waited over 5 mins for my cappuccino to go. They need a stricter management.

Really busy branch of Costa but there's usually somewhere to sit and staff are friendly. Tends to be quite noisy though.

Really lovely staff. Coffee is always perfect and even when my flat white always has a perfect crema art on top. I asked recently what a Cordarto was and the Barista made me a complementary one.

Cursed by being either too busy or not busy enough; upshot is not enough staff at busy times. Can't fault the staff for this, they're as you'd expect - polite, courteous etc... Problem is the speed of service. Great if you don't mind waiting 20 minutes for a cup of coffee when it's busy.
