Miserable staff who do not listen to what you are ordering. Flavourless coffee. Dirty tables.

Brilliant cost staff friendly and helpful a lovely welcome from Callum every time we go in it’s fantastic that dogs are allowed I take my dog in and I’ve met some lovely people who have a stroke from my dog well done Costa for allowing dogs wonderful how more and more shops and coffee shops and places are becoming more and more dog friendly a big thumbs up Costa 👍🏻X

Kingway costa all staff do a great job ,, been in many costa kingway costa the bests staff can't. Help u enough ,, make u. Feel o welcome. ,, all staff. Nerver stop working

Went in today with my son and ordered some hot sandwiches and drinks. The staff were amazing on a Sunday with massive smiles and happy to recommend drinks. The drinks were amazing and the sandwiches were yummy. The inside of the store was clean and the atmosphere was good. But what made everything was the amazing staff....10 out of 10 and well done team 👏🏼 👍🏼

As we entered, we were told we couldn’t get a large Tropical Mango Frappuccino because they didn’t have large cups. Then, I was given a spoon instead of a straw to eat the bubbles in my drink since they didn’t have large suitable straws. We first ordered one and liked it, so I ordered the same again, but the barista looked visibly frustrated and even made an angry face. The experience was really disappointing. They seriously need to train their staff, keep essential items in stock or at least mark them as unavailable.

Customer service is non-existent whilst Courtney is serving. Miserable and lazy every time I get served here. Can't make a coffee as a Costa Barista should, and always looks like some has kicked her where it hurts most. Miserable little toe rag!

I only ate marshmallows, but unlike the previous time they were fresh. Today I give 5* for service at 15:45. The employees were nice and smiling, the whipped cream on the marshmallow was stiff and didn't sink into the middle, nothing spilled out. Perfect

Says it closes at 7pm went in at 6.48 and the doors were locked.

Excellent and relaxing place to have a cup of coffee with friends or alone during work break !

I use to go costa all the time however recently I've realised they've started allowing dogs in the shop. Eventhough it's not a problem for me but I've seen staff members petting the dogs and then refusing to wash their hands and carrying on serving and making food and drinks. Which poor lack of hygiene.

Brilliant friendly customer service but the coffee very inconsistent, too hot, cappuccino with no froth etc

Warm day so ordered iced coffees which were very weak and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend. Staff polite but tables not cleaned, requested same.

I am wondering why everytime I come to a costa, same as in rochdale Town centre, there is only ever one toilet working. There is a always a queue. Also the staff clean the toilet and go in with their aprons on and out with apron on. Please can you clean the cushions on chairs and in between. This costa is not clean...just look at the toilets. Won't be coming to Kingsway again.

Good location on the retail park Can get busy quickly but definitely worth going to relax and have some hot drinks

I love it there the staff are really funny and pleasant helpfull especially becky. Enjoy going there can have a conversation with them as well not miserable. Becky and Sara are really nice

The door was open all the time, tried to close it but it just opened again. Really draughty n cold. The drink was nice. You queue to get your drink so not really able to give stars for service.

Your bog standard Costa, fine, nothing special. However, the service here was poor. The first lady who served me was nice enough. But the one doing the drinks ain't cut out for customer service. No acknowledgement whatsoever. I said thank you when the drink was put in front of me, nothing in return, no smile, no eye contact, certainly no thank you. Some people seem to forget it's customers coming through the doors paying for their products that keep them employed. Manners cost nothing and in customer service it's a must.

I have only given 3 for service because none of the staff spoke to you. However, it was s very good efficient service system. Not much seating.

Quick and easy visit to this Costa. I always go in rather than do the drive in. It suits me better. Delicious iced Cappy on a hot day.

Stopped off for a coffee while waiting for a garage to open. Service was rather slow. The toilet facilities weren't wonderful. The place seemed to be surviving on the passing trade from the adjacent retail park. Certainly not on my 'must visit again ' list

A really friendly place to take the family for hot chocolate and sweet treats. We were served by Ellie and Becky - they were both really helpful, friendly and enthusiastic - 5 star service...we will definitely be back!

Can actually say the worst food I've ever had I spent £34 on a breakfast and nothing was nice everything was burnt and stale absolutely fuming won't be going back don't know who runs that place but they need fireing quick

Lovely staff, come in here often and it's a nice environment to sit and have a coffee. Always clean and they offer food for kids and high chairs. If I have my pram, they always bring my tray to the table for me.

The usual Costa Coffee experience here. With the added benifit of being nice and roomy, so enty of seating space to catch up with a friend. Would have been nice to have a settee or big comfy chair as well as the normal table and chairs though

Not all coffee shops give you exactly the coffee you ask for. Probably the best Costa I have used.

Bought an aero caramel hot chocolate and a large Mocha. Hot chocolate lovely. But. Was given a latte instead of a mocha which was not great, unfortunately as it was a take away we were at home and not we could do. Really disappointed. Learnt that must check drinks before leaving ☹️

Friendly staff and coffee well made. A nice to place either to come with your laptop or to enjoy a chat with a friend or partner. Sometimes, the aircon is a bit high/cold, but minor stuff 👍🏼

Sat at outside seating area as I had my dog with me. It was absolutely filthy, not just one day's dirt, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I wouldn't even let my dog sit in the floor! I paid the same price as customers inside but had to sit in filth!

Been plenty of times but today was awful. Staff didn't seem bothered. Got order wrong twice and eventually asked for a refund.

Being a regular customer, The girls and boys here are great, my usual order can be waiting for me without asking or saying a single word, they are all friendly and ready to help with any queries, in my opinion, definitely one of the best Costas in the country, I drive HGVs all over UK so visit many, and they haven't impressed as much as Rochdale Kingsway, well done

New staff learning the trade half cup measure again, normally I’m fine but the price has gone up again, at £2:95 for medium I don’t expect half cups happened on a few occasions with new staff. Clean place, friendly staff, it’s not a bad review but expect more I’m a regular at this place and spend money here. Might start going Starbucks instead until they piss me off

Coffee good but staff hit and miss .don't clean outside tables. And why you can't make toast anymore because of covid god knows when they do toasties

Ordered on the app that took ages, understand there is an offer on. Stood in a queue but no one told us the drinks had been made and were going cold. Costa remade so would have cost them a waste of money. Drinks lovely though.

Great drinks but first time I've ever been charged for cream (puppacino).......right after she'd told me that the cream I was saying no to on the drinks was free. I didn't realise until I'd already paid and I couldn't be bothered arguing at that point.

Nice coffee, as you would expect from Costa, but the staff are not very friendly at this store, and they all look unhappy.

We visit Costa Kingsway every Saturday, in fact it's the only place I go during this Covid pandemic. Coffee is great & the cakes are delicious! The staff are fabulous and so friendly, nothing is too much trouble! The manager is lovely & always chats to customers & asks how they are etc. The place is very clean & tidy including the toilets & all Covid restrictions are adhered to. It may only be a coffee shop but what makes this place special is the staff.

Drinks don't always prepare them well. Sometimes they serve you the wrong drinks. Be careful, if they don't give you a receipt they stole your money. it happens often. ☹️

Service was slow and staff not very forward to assist/serve. Had to re-ask for a mince pie that had not been put in to warm.
