Popular venue. The team was efficient as per traffic flow. There is no seating due to the laptop residents. Sandwich orders were mixed up. This potential will result in customers with allergies/tolerance getting sick.

Still not open? What is going on ?

Been there at 09:00, shop opening at 06:30, lights on, stuff inside but closed. How it’s that possible? Very unprofessional…if you say that will open at 06:30, then open at that time, as lots of people come and turned around, you are losing money insisting of making.

Been closed for ages now, what gives? Swing by in the morning now and then to get a coffee, see the lights are all on, outside ordering panels are all lit up and....closed. Still. Been over a month easily.

Recently shut for "maintenance issues". No lights on during the day or evening while this was ongoing. Curious...

Went at 6pm on a Friday evening, closed! Whole place is in darkness. Considering they're opening times state open until 9:30pm, think you closed a tad early today costa.

Went to get porridge wasnt even filled with enough milk all the porridge was dry and crumpled the kids couldnt even mix it let alone eat it dont go there

I use costa a lot all over Luton, Bedford and other towns. For some reason this costa is always a let down. The coffee always tastes bitter and burnt. It seems like maybe they don’t change the beans regularly and keep reusing them, I’m not sure but something isn’t right. The taste is never smooth like other branches. Every time I use this place, i waste my money. Coffees are not cheap, it’s between £4-£5 for one coffee. I never enjoy it. I won’t be using this branch again.

It was okay whenever I visited except last time when it was 15 minutes before closing. At that time, staff's behaviour was terrible.The lady on the till was rude and arrogant,as well as the manager. When complained about the staff's behaviour; manager did the same. Looked like they were so keen to go home that they were literally hating that more customers arrived. I was really disappointed and would not like to go again

5 stars for the manager who gets my glass of water ready to accompany my coffee without me even asking! Great service.

Drive thru closed yet again, seems to never be open. Pointless advertising having one

They keep assuming everyone is okay with vegan cream. I find vegan cream far too sweet and it alters the taste of the drink too much. When they run out of dairy cream they just dump vegan cream on your drink without having simple manners to say “we don’t have anymore regular cream left would you like vegan cream?” They just assume you won’t mind/notice the difference. Give people a choice, it’s not hard to have basic manners and communication.

Clean and tidy and friendly atmosphere

Forgot all our food on the delivery only delivered drinks, couldnt get through to any customer service. Edit: refunded and gave free food so changed review

All good but the toilet was disgusting. No toilet rolls, piss all over the seat and floor. Did complain but no one seemed in a rush to deal with it

Nice Christmas menu. Tried the turkey, bacon & cranberry sauce cheese toastie. Gotta say it was superb. I know they are busy & I can see all the guys & girls are working hard. But I always have a long wait when I walk in. The drive through is different it's a very quick service normally.

Absolutely nasty I brought a latte from this place yesterday took it away started drinking it and thought there a funny taste to this . Any how put me off I went and got another one from a machine and that was fine after about 20 min started feeling sick came home ate dinner then that was it vomiting all night and light blue bits in vomiting after researching the blue bits in my vomiting turns out that’s caused by poisoning and the I know it was that nasty latte all day I’ve felt sick as so I went back there today to show them the star I was in and what had happened the assistant were laughing at me what was funny I don’t know and I asked is something funny cos this ain’t no joke they give me some sort of poisoning and how got a refund back and will never return there again the hygiene level is disgusting in there and my next step is food and safety standards agency cos this ain’t on

Realy good location but is very bad service they touch glas on top after that they touch money is not professional so will not come back again

They don't work clean. This can be dangerous they can spread viruses and bacteria in this way. They touch the glasses on the top where you have to put your lips, they also touch the forks and spoons on the front... with the same hands with they take the money. I don't know who teach them to work (someone without hygiene who don't care about the health of the people). The half from my bobble tea was full with eis. They try to take your money but to sell you eis just like another coffees in the UK who think that the customers are stupid and can pay for their eis!

Hi I had a bad experience today I always order there in drive thru today as usual I ordered a cappuccino I have payed when they give it to me I was not happy I asked to replace it nicely It doesn't look like a cappuccino it look like a cup of tea they asked why you are not happy I said I need a new one a proper cappuccino please one of the stuff I think he is in charge he was so rude and asked me to leave and don't come back and he even swared at me he is (Asian) he said we will refund you so I ended up going to another coffee shop I never experienced something like that before.

The soya latte is disgusting since they changed from alpro soya to the bottles it's very poor will not visit again whilst they have that soya milk

A brand new Costa. Well laid out with pleasant staff. Located next to Homebase and soon to be a new Aldi.

Very expensive but good quality. Menu on drive thru is totally useless!

It's a good option when you're in the area. But it is very noisy when there are a lot of people.

Polite staff and efficient, I got my drinks quickly enough and they were well made. Sadly a bit too noisy for me, so it's hard to have a conversation in. Some people may prefer the hustle and bustle, but it's not for me. If you're okay with that, then I'd recommend it, but if you're after somewhere quieter then I'd look elsewhere.

Excellent service, quick service and a good coffee!

Just average. Service below par. Don't know why you don't give serviettes or cutlery to dine in. Have to get up several times.

The team are very polite especially the Asian guy there when I pop in for Sunday breakfast. I did notice however that one of the ladies was using the same tongue for both nut and non-nut baked items when she served a customer. That concerned me. Please can you pass my comments on. We don’t want to hear of someone with allergies being affected.

some staff don't pull there weight. long queues, tables are not cleared as much as they should be.

Had a Strawberries and Cream frappe. Pretty standard, lady was a bit apreehensive serving a big group like us. I liked what I had but environment had a lot of improvement to be done on behalf of the employees.

Worst Costa shop iv been to, can't get a simple order right and absolutely filthy milk and coffee strains everywhere and the main person making the drinks doesn't where gloves just coughs over your drinks never go there again

Relaxing, great choices, warm and cosy BUT gave me wrong size drinks and they were like warm. The maker was rushing even though the place wasn't even busy. He was talking to the girl on the drive through and not concentrating on his own task at hand. That aside, love having Costa so close to home!!

Drive thru is either closed or only taking cash payments. This is so frustrating when you go there only for drive thru and don’t want to get out of the car for whatever reason. Thanks to the frequent limited availability of the drive thru, we’ve actually discovered that Wild Bean Cafe coffee at the M&S down the road is nicer.

Lots of seating inside and out plus drive through. Can be very busy. Wide selection of goodies both in cup and on a plate.

Great friendly and very helpful staff

Usually a regular at this branch however had a terrible last experience. Found the new workers rude with no care for customer service. The initial team when the store opened with Charlotte were lovely and friendly. Really need to review their recruitment screening.

Tables and seating areas are always dirty! Costa should have a dedicated person cleaning floors and tables. This is discussting!

Love my Costa drink but always left with a regret as some staff show like they have a gun to their head when serving. I guess it's not always their fault as most Costa cafés are under staffed.

The same drink I get all the time tastes different, depends on who prepares it I guess. Agree with other comments, feels like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering more than one hot drink. They are always always out of cinnamon which is so bizarre to me. I’ve definitely noticed improvements since opening but they have a long way to go.

Good selection for vegetarians options as this place is not halal, ordered mocha, not that good, food was good, lady at the counter seems so done, other than that it was ok.

The drinks were cold and when I returned it, alongside another lady on a different table, we were just asked what temperature we wanted. My almond slice was stale and the restaurant was dirty.i won't be returning to that Costa!

Had the same unfortunate experience twice already i n this specific Costa where I order an item for click and collect via the app, which clearly stated that my item is indeed available in this Costa, paid online, went to pick it up and I was told both times that they do not have that item, so maybe best to keep track of what the app puts out and if an item is on there and you don’t have it, make sure it’s gone..

You should suspend Click and Surve option as never serve through click and serve on this branch. Finally have to go inside shop to collect

Drive through could do with putting the full menu up of available options on the boards, rather than static ad's for one or two items. Also needs a good sweep up through the drive through. Currently about 6" deep in rubbish at the curbs. 😞

New in the last year to North Luton in the Barton Hills and Bramingham area. Good size shop with lots of seating and drive thru options.

Lovely place to go for a catch with a friend and makes a nice change to a pub..

Service was slow. And every table was a mess so sat in the car. Drinks were nice tho. Staff could be a bit more smiley.

The coffee is what you would expect from a Costa but unfortunately the staff let this place down a little. They're quite haphazard, blunt and sometimes make you feel as though you're inconveniencing them if you order anything other than a latte. The service can be slow and I often overhear people correcting orders. The environment is nice and the parking is free and plenty.

Service is not great as they always have lack of staff. Same person taking order and making at same time. So who ever on the que have to wait long until they get served. I am regular customer of Costa and I can rate this branch 1 star for poor customer service. I always ask for extra hot and takeaway cup but very few time I had it correct. Management must improve service otherwise they will lose customer like me who likes to visit almost every day.

I liked going there at first, even though the staff were dismissive, but unfortunately it’s ageist. I tried going in there during my school lunch and they told me that students from our school have been banned. I have no idea why as we didn’t do anything bad to them. If anything, we’re good for their business; if elderly people want to complain that we’re “taking their seats”, then I don’t see why we should be punished for it. It used to be a nice place for me to chill during my free periods but I dislike it now. Very ageist to ban school students even though they’re in an area with two sixth forms in close proximity!

Not letting sixth form students in is incredibly idiotic. Never in my life have I heard of a franchise not wanting customers. We enter, buy our coffee, should we not be allowed seating? We are consumers, we pay you money - even if you forbid us from sitting down, we should at least be allowed to buy a coffee. Wait until you run out of business because you complain about having to do your job. To those complaining - welcome to real life! People go inside a cafe and drink coffee. There is nothing you can do, it is completely unfair to complain about us.

Normally I love coming here with my friends, but today was not the case. We were refused entry, without any further explanation given. Last time I checked, this was a costa coffee, not a private cafe. I don't understand why we were refused entry, but this is unacceptable. (Note: it was neither closed, nor about to close).

They refused to let me and other students in without providing a reason. Drinking coffee helps me study and I enjoyed going there during my free periods. I'm very upset 😥

Banning students from even entering the place without giving a valid reason why. The place is right next to two sixth forms but yet they're mad about students wanting to go in? From what I've heard from my friends, old people are mad seats are being taken. My friends were given dirty looks, indirectly insulted by them. If students taking up seats were even the main reason why they were banned can't they even allow them to purchase something then leave? But students aren't even allowed to enter at all.

AGEIST!!!! people complained about there being too many students (2 sixth form colleges are in the area, what do they expect) so therefore they chose to ban us! We did NOTHING but order coffee and leave in a civilised manner.

I’m am cardinal Newman student and I’m really disappointed because I went there and it wasn’t letting me go in because apparently our school has been banned but won’t say why it’s really annoying considering they don’t even put a notice note or have a reason to ban our school from going in .

Not open on time. Too often places either not opening according to data or there are issues. Last time drive through not open. This time the store not at all.

Never open when supposed to be. Drive thru is always closed. Staff are quite abrupt and rude.

Full range of cakes and friendly staff. Ample soft seating, only down side is that I had to clear my own table and the chocloate and caramelised biscuit cake was more of a rock biscuit than a cake. Overall a great place to spend an hour or two.

Most of the staff are friendly but always busy no matter what time I have visited. I have found the service to be quick although some people have said differently. I like a bacon roll which has more filling than another drive through company which is nearby I have this with a latte and it was on a special price as long as its before 11 am but this may have changed. I regularly get awarded a free drink this is besides the free one if you visit 8 times but you need to download the app. They are selling some Marks and Spencers items eg sandwiches, salads. Cakes are available but I do them a little expensive All in all one of my favourite drive throughs

Slow service. Drive thru never seems to be open. And NEVER has what you want. I’ve been here so many times and they either don’t have… Cold drinks, hot drinks, cups for hot drinks, cups for cold drinks, sauce for cold drinks or ice. I’ve tried to complain in store but apparently they don’t have a manager??? Weird. Once again I went there today and they didn’t have what I want. Waited in the queue for 15 minutes for them to not have their lemonade? For a new store, how do they have so many problems?

First time I've been to this Costa coffee shop . Service was good and quick. Sitting outside was good . Would go again.

The staff at this place are amazing! I have purr bad luck ...one time I spilt a frappe I bought through drive thru and they made me another for free and flgave me lots of tissue to clean up..then today my car broke down in the middle of the drive thru and they were so nice and made me feel calm and gave me a free drink whilst I waited for RAC. I'm a regular and always feel they provide the best service....never eaten in so don't know what it's like indoor but the food and customer service is great and I honestly believe the whole team deserves a pay rise as they always go above and beyond! I will be back tomorrow for another order!

New cosy away from hustle and nice quite place

Store says closing time is 2130 but on Thursday night shop was closed at 2000. I counted 10 customers who could not get their night time beverages. Please sort it out!! It's our only Costa near us

A nice new branch of Costa Coffee. It could do with a couple of extra staff to clear up the tables, The staff there were dealing with customers it was busy.

Went today at 8.30pm and its closed. Around 7-8 customers waiting outside assuming it closes at 9.30 as shown on Google. Entrance door shows closing time at 9pm. The workers were clearly ignoring us as we wanted answers as to why they have shut much earlier. At least allow us to take away if you're afraid we'll delay more than 30mins inside. Unfortunate waste of an 8 mile journey.
