Costa Coffee in Central Bedfordshire

The slowest service ever! Only one barista working and costa promos are nonexistent - in the App it shows as a reward but apparently whole Dunstable run out of free stuff.... never coming back again!

A friendly comfortable place for a drink, snack or light lunch.

It was not a very good experience today. I very rarely go into Costa,anyway I was treating my wife to a Birthday Coffee and cake. My wife wanted 1 of the special hot Milkshakes, caramel flavour, but hey presto they had none, not happy 😡😡😡,why advertise it if you have run out, and on my Wifes birthday.????

Great place, love the drinks, it’s just such a shame that the toilet is always so dirty and unsanitary it’s unusable!

Had two hot chocolate this afternoon dine in. Awful. Luke warm. No taste. Very light colour and doesn't seem to be enough chocolate.

Nice staff, but carrot cake is always sold out or not available

A very nice branch on the top floor of Next.

Pretty decent costa but not the biggest as it is in the corner of the top floor. Never mind that, though, as the coffee and food are top quality as always in Costa no matter where you are. Friendly staff as always. Could be a little better spaced out for people with double buggies but with a little adjusting it's quite spacious

Always friendly in this branch. Upstairs in Next but has a very light and airy feel to it. Open til 7:30 weekdays. So very convenient after work. Refreshed in July 2022, some small layout changes but still good. Can be crowded!

Very nice staff all the time, young and always polite. The place looks clean and you can always enjoy the view to the retail park from the balcony tables.

Good coffee, not as good as pre covid for some reason(supplier has changed?). Food is ok but unfortunately overpriced. Other than that a nice cosy place for a cuppa.

Update: not busy today, but tables still left in the need of cleaning. --- Busy Sunday visit. Messy tables, stained furniture, unhappy staff, and mediocre coffee. It's Costa.

Choice of cakes gets limited after 2pm. Air con like an artic blast. Could save some energy costs by turning off for now and keeping customers coffees Warner for longer.

Every visit has been a disappointment. There is ingredients missing every time like a cinnamon on my chai latte. Food selection needs improvement. Issues with service for example my tea cake being burnt and errors of other food request that had to be prepared again.

Costa coffee i great quick on the go or sit in

It is not just costa coffee the next clothing brand is in the same shop so I went shopping in Next, which is good value for money and has nice and helpful staff. Nice and big parking too

Not the best. Coffee is to hot and ruined the taste. Not the first time iv got a coffee and it's way to hot.

Went to this costa for a coffee and some food with my Nan and little girl . I had to wait for the whole order to be done and carry the tray to my table . It wouldn’t have been hard to just bring it to the table instead of making us stand and wait there for so long … Two items were missing on my order after waiting..then my 4 year old accidentally spilt a bit of drink on the floor and my Nan told one of the staff members who was rude and stood awkwardly watching us until we left so he could clear a tiny bit of tea . Terrible service . Would NOT recommend

Good coffee, just recently opened so decor and furnishings clean and tidy. Costa please take note and bring other Costas upto standard

I was really picking up something from Next from an online order but I have bought a take out from Costa in the past. Next is very efficient, its rare if I have to wait for my item more than a 5 minutes, even if there is a queue. Then I know I can grab a quick snack and a coffee if I need a pick-me-up for the rest of my journey.

Situated on 1st floor of Next, they are always pleasant with right amount of staff, a good range of drinks & snacks. Does have toilet (towards rear left of Costa), if do to back of Next there is a lift to gain access to upper level of Next & Costa

Good to see move vegan choices now available including burrito, mac 'n' cheese, hot cross buns and a super salad bowl.

Just a coffee break but worth the visit.

Well we have been there a lot...my partner drinks tea 🍵 ... orders a takeaway cup with just hot water and a teabag on the tray not in the cup NO milk ... as otherwise the tea gets over brewed quickly... Yhis place carnt make tea! 😆 They somehow always get this wrong... we have had it from teabag in cup," one in cup and another on the tray, in cup with milk, tea bag in a mug with hot water in the take out cup, wrong type of tea, just water without a bag, absolutely 💯 % completely wrong to the order 😀 But apart from that as always a good coffee and nice cake makes costa our favourite goto Pit stop when were out or on a good days shopping.

One of the best I have been too. Very clean, friendly staff and quick service. Large car park. But does get very busy at a weekend which I suppose is expected.

Very noisy place, place full of customers, with no distancing. Staff seemed stressed and grumpy.

Excellent all-round the baristas were so kind and professional. Made the customers feel important and valued!

Was dissappointed with the sanitation

Sale badly organised. People coming out with 5/6 bags and going back in for more. Waited an hour to get in with another wait for children's department. Will never go to next sale again. The vulchers had had everything in my size.

Toilets definitely needs a deep clean. Noticed that the protective screens on the counter are in needs of cleaning as well.

Staff were friendly and coffee was freshly prepared. Nice atmosphere. The young lady working here this morning (15/12) is clearly a very hard worker and did well under the pressure of a busy Costa!

I would probably say that this one of the best Costa’s in Luton on my view is a must for coffee lovers! The service was good, and the variety of coffee served in the ambiance was very satisfying. Costa I like your coffee shops, then this is a must-visit! I will be back again! Dispute been a bit inconvenient for me due to traffic jumps on this particular road stretch

Service always very slow, never seems to be enough staff. Although, the staff that work there are running around trying their best and are very friendly.

I was very impressed with the outlay of the restaurant. Friendly staff. Well recommend. I am not keen on Costa Coffee.

I was amazed by the gentleman that served me ( he was the one with the beard thin ) ( sorry didn't get his name ),,I can truly say I was so impressed with his customers skill ,,asking all the time if I want this and that ,,he was cheerful ,quick and that's what I call true customer service ,,he needs to be used as example to other staff on how to treat clients with proffessism.i even said to him I'm impressed the way he served and he said I have been doing this for 2 years ,,amazing lad xx

Nice comfy Costa above Next in retail Park. Very popular venue. Busy most days. Good quality coffee. Lots of parking outside. I just hope they can keep the coffee under £3 a cup. I refuse to pay above that price

We had a lovely experience in Costa located upstairs in Next on Dunstable white lion retail park. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean 👌

Excellent, friendly service. We love the bacon and the sausage baps. Great place to catch-up with friends for a coffee and a chat.

Shop is in a retail park so parking is easy and free. Lots of seating upstairs, staff were friendly.

First visit here with my family. A lot bigger than I expected but tables were a bit close together for me. They also felt in need of a clean. It was quite busy when we arrived at around 3pm. The food itself was ok and the coffee was good. We sat near a window which overlooked the branch of Next it was situated within. The glass looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It's a shame, especially as it's a reputable cafe.

Costa is good as brand, cofee not that great. Some pure arabica, strong cofee will make the difference.Costa cofee is good to socialize.

Bit naff location, literally down the road from another Costa. Would have preferred a local starbucks rather than two Costas.

Bit of a shamble this costa. Got my order wrong for me and my kids, then a minute later my partner ordered for her and her children, and over charged her £5.

Great Covid restriction layout ease of access if seating but well spaced apart to reduce contact.

This is by far the best Costa, the best staff, always lovely, even if something is wrong (it happens rarely), nothing is ever any trouble and drinks always served well. Have missed coming here, can't wait to be able to come back 🙂

Covid precautions have resulted in fewer available tables, so it's now a scramble, and often impossible to find a table. The staff are always friendly and do their best to provide a good service, but something needs to be put in place to ensure tables for customers on a first-come basis, rather than tables being hijacked by selfish customers who plant a partner to 'reserve' one.

If you go at 9am on a weekday just be aware that it will be busy and make take you a while to get your coffee.

Nice refreshing change to have such friendly staff chat to you while waiting for your flat white Columbian style. Coffee great too. Can't wait for the Ethiopian bean.

Love the location. Free parking. Sainsburys, TKmax, Next even KFC are within seconds of walking distance. The carrot cake is to die for. They use filtered water to make your beverages so no murky calcium deposits in your tea which I like. Definitely recommend.

This is an excellent Costa outlet . The staff are on the ball and work as quickly as a barrista service allows . Always tasty and tempting snacks and sandwiches on offer that are top quality and fresh. The managers keep it all running smoothly , Becky in particular.

Love a Costa...I actually drink that many I should have shares in the bloody Company!!

Finished work, have a coffee or hot chocolate or one of the frostinos. Costa is always costa and never disappoints.

Although we have many many costs within about 5-10mins of each other this additon above the next is actually kind of justifiable, nice bright and airy atmosphere and with everything you come to expect from a costa

Coffee was nice sandwich not very good quite dry on one side

Had the coffee cortado a few times over several days. Very good. Staff are efficient and the place is clean with good facilities.

I love this Costa coffee. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee as always. My four-year-old son loves a Costa lemon muffin. We always eat them as we are here.

Costa coffee is too strong for me..even the latte..grandson had most icky drink.little luxury caramel...in this day and age with sugar being in high dose this was right out there. It was like drinking a cup of toffee sauce!!! Even my grandson didn't like..thankfully

We were waiting for 20 min in the queue and the staff doesn’t move fast at all. A lots of people decided to go when they saw that the queue isn’t moving, in some of the time it was until the men’s shopping side
