Brilliant service from Lucy on 30th June , talked me through the drink with me being lactose and gave me a wide range of choices , she was so happy and cheerful and so helpful couldn’t of asked for a better service , definitely be using this Costa again because you dont get a happy person much anymore .

I like this costa, there is a nice big decked area for outside seating which is nice in the warmer months, the shop itself is quite big with plenty of seating, its always clean and staff are always great. Outside is a huge free car park and there are toilets next to it. The downsides are they are quite slow and can be waiting a while and several of the drinks my daughter asked for from the menu, they didn't have

I find this is the best branch around Tameside and Stockport. Super busy but always spot on. One downfall is the size of the shop, could have been bigger!

Had a bad experience yesterday with the ginger haired woman who was very rude. She had a bad attitude after I didn’t understand how the click and collect worked and my drinks were left on the counter for 20 mins to go cold. She could have shouted out they were ready but instead had a row with me when I said I didn’t know how it worked. She actually said to me “it doesn’t matter what you think, we are not in the wrong here”. And even admitted she saw us walk in but didn’t bother to just let us know our order was ready, we were waiting for it to be dropped at collection point as that’s what the app said would happen. She could have handled the situation so much better but instead she was condescending. It’s a shame as the other staff in there are lovely. Today they all just looked scared of her so god knows how she treats them if that’s how she talks to customers!

Gets busy but it’s far better than the Starbucks nearby.

Been coming to Crown Point very regularly for years since we moved into area. Never through to review but this team really need to be recognised - it’s always pretty busy, but every visit is a pleasure, fast and efficient but always mega friendly and positive from the team. I only really thought about it when recently visiting the Starbucks near by and finding the polar opposite of an experience, even when not busy. Particular shout outs to Moe who is just a really lovely dude - who makes a fine coffee, with clear care and is always so friendly. Naomi who is always back and forth, doing several things while working the til (something the Starbucks team need 3 or 4 to achieve) but always still agains so friendly. The gent with the cool tats who’s always in the background going about keeping the place mega clean and sorting food (again, something several people at once at Starbucks seem to struggle with). The whole team is great and I’m sorry I can’t remember anymore names. Wanted to just say, keep it up and I hope Costa recognise what a special little spot this team make here. Keep it up. And Merry Christmas to the team!

Great coffee of all descriptions

Very busy when we went and very few staff but the staff they did have were quick and helpful. Really noisy people seemed to be shouting to each other to speak.

Went here early on in the morning quick service staff very pleasant

Super slow service (3 staff to serve a single customer, one at a time) and some staff are quite rude. Coffee isn't great either, definitely over priced. Won't be going back

It’s a fantastic Costa but time it moved out into a bigger shop on the park like Starbucks! Coffee is cool , very child friendly, toilets , baby seats staff are fantastic! One thing I don’t like is when I just ask for coffee & staff put pressure on you to buy a cake coffee is to expensive every where with extras you can easily spend 20 pounds for two

Had the macaroni cheese which was fabulous. Coffee was great. Staff were very good. The only downfall was only one toilet in working order, this caused a que 9f customers.

Staff member very unwelcoming and bossy in where you can seat.

Staff always polite and greet you with a welcoming smile. Seating area always clean or if tables are dirty with pots, you don't wait long for them to be cleared.

Ordered a breakfast to be delivered as a birthday treat yesterday. (Flat white, bacon bap and chocolate treat). Lovely as always but also got a little "Enjoy!" and a smiley face on my coffee. What a lovely touch and it got my birthday off to a really nice start. Thank you! 😊

The coffee is just weak and tasteless. I had an extra shot and it was still rubbish. I rank national coffee as follows : 1 Nero drink in. 2 Mcdonalds flat white 3 Pret 4 Starbucks 5-9any others 10 Costa

Lady a manager is always rude and for some reason half the seating is regularly closed off making limited setting so you can not sit in side. Guess its a way to reduce cleaning. Shame used to be a great friendly place

Been in twice in the past months paper cups only offered the experience of having a nice Costa mug of hot chocolate to drink out of left me disappointed again .

Love Costa coffee they have a really nice cup of tea with a lemon tart. My treat to me. It's a pity they don't explain you need the app.on your phone for your birthday treat a card is no use for that.

The only downside to this place is that it's quite tight inside so it feels claustrophobic and is very noisy.

Horrible customer service. Didn’t get my change had to ask to get it back after the employee already started taking order from a new customer. I got a dirty spoon and when I asked for a new one I was ignored. I asked a different worker and then got it (it was the only nice employee (shout out to my bro Mave) coffee was mid. Too much milk so you barely could taste the coffee. I wanted the new autumn maple coffee-didn’t have, my boyfriend wanted fudge cake frappe- didn’t have. Very disappointed. Won’t be coming back. Going Starbucks after to drink something resembling coffee and get better customer service.

The manageress at this shop is rude and a bully. I'm sharing a photo of the inside of this shop as you are never allowed to sit in the back part, even though there was a big queue. At times she dictates where you can and cannot sit!! She did not like me taking this photo and said that I needed her permission! As I walked away she accused me of swearing at her!! I turned and told her that I do not swear and not to accuse me of such. The coffee she made was so disgusting that I had to leave half of it. We had to have paper cups and bags for our cakes as the dishwasher was apparently broken.

Came in here as Starbucks was full and had no free seats. Wish I hadn’t bothered really. Slow service. Serving all stay ins in take out cups, presumably so they don’t have to bother cleaning the cups? Seems a waste of cardboard and plastic to do this. Ordered two large hot chocolates with cream, a cake and a toastie. Cake came in a bag instead of on a plate even tho I said we were staying in. No fork also. As already mentioned the hot chocolates came in cardboard cups and then the girl put plastic lids on which just pushed the cream down into the hot chocolate. Also no spoons to eat the cream with, like you get in Starbucks. Overall not a great experience from a costa yet again.

Typical Costa not very friendly staff and expensive, coffee nothing out of the ordinary tasted coffee just as good half the price.

Lovely coffee but very expensive, it will be a long time before I go in again.

It says it opens at 8AM. Stood there and guess what, it is closed and no one inside to serve the customers.

Used to be a lovely £3.25 for a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, now it's £4.20 robbing gits!!

Why hasnt Kerry been sacked yet by Costa!!! I complained about her in 2020 when was vile to the customers during Covid. Shes absolute nightmare of a woman!! I see I am not the only one making a complaint. Whoever owns this francise needs to get rid of this awful woman!!!

1 star is far too high. Rude staff member and clearly doesn’t listen (young girl with ginger hair) order was wrong, asked for the correct drink for it then to be slammed down on the counter with no apology. Unsurprisingly, the order was wrong AGAIN. Might be best for the staff to be retrained or replaced by humans who actually have manners. Would not recommend or even bother returning to the Crown Point North Costa. Disgraceful.

I put a 5 star review here 9 months ago, but downgraded to 3 stars today. The coffee was excellent as it always is at Costa, but the cleanliness had gone down hill so much I nearly didn't sit down. The cloth chairs were filthy with ground in food particles that had obviously been there for a while. You see poor cleaners in cafes do the same thing time and again. They clean the table by wiping everything off onto the chairs, but don't clean the chairs. It looks like that has happened here, and non of the cloth chairs were clean. All it takes is to clean/wash them in an evening and they would be dry in the morning, but that obviously has not been done for months. The image is of the seat I was sitting beside, and all the seats were similarly stained including the one I ended up sitting on.

Rude staff member (I did not catch her name) shouting across the shop telling people to move tables which was very unprofessional. This staff member then proceeded to place a wet floor sign on a table next to us to stop people sitting there I presume, which seemed to be very unhygienic if I do say so myself. The chairs needed a clean as well, they all had marks and crumbs on them! The food and drinks were good but it was just the atmosphere of the place, was not pleasant.

Absolutely disgustingly Rude staff 20.3.2022 got order wrong after being told twice we were sitting in when asked to rectify the girl started arguing with my friend ask her what's your problem and then went telling the other staff sniggering at my friend who has sever anxiety as it is thanks Costa for choosing such nice staff to work in your shops and the star was just to make a review 😠 😡

Was very busy, really outstanding member of staff seemed to be doing everything. Lovely manner about her ( sorry didn't get a name ) cleaning tables as soon as they came free for others to sit down

Went in about 12pm it was very busy. Coffee and service good as usual.

Bit un organised seating nightmare.

If I could give this 0 starts I would!! Me and my grandma came in for a quite coffee we was greeted with shouting telling us we can’t sit here being told to wait our turn, my grandma is elderly and cannot stand up for long at all, she refused her to sit down so she was in pain waiting in the que, she also did the same to other elderly customers. The manager Kerry has the most disgusting attitude she shouts at her costumers, customers were walking past saying how horrible she is! I think head office need to read all of the google reviews because I am absolutely appalled

Terrible experience. One of the staff members was very rude. Was plenty of space and she told me they didn’t have space for a small pram. I felt unwelcome and mistreated. I won’t be back!

Rude and aggressive staff member .. woman in her late 50's (Kerry or Kelly I believe someone called her) was shouting at customers across the room about not being allowed to sit down until SHE allocated them a seat and was shoving chairs and tables about around customers trying to enjoy a coffee and a chat. A customer on front of me asked a question about sizes of drinks and her response to him when he didn't really understand her was to respond by saying 'thats just the way it is' Made the whole experience very uncomfortable..... WILL NEVER VISIT THIS BRANCH AGAIN

If I could give ½ a star for this outlet that would be to much. Manager (Kerry) speaks to customers very aggressively and with an attitude. People were getting told off for finding a table for themselves before getting served and not being allocated a seat by her. Being 3 members of staff short is NOT the customers fault but yet everyone got told they were staff shortages. A good course on people skills wouldn't go a miss for this manager.

Staff full of attitude and in need of customer service training either that or get new staff. I got told Vodafone wasn't working for a offer I had because they had a new till - it did work. Mum sat down while I ordered and got told by staff she couldn't sit there as it was a table for 4 even though other people we're sat at tables that had more seats than people. Mum moved and then got told she had to move yet again as table was for prams and wheelchairs, so she moved again. We we're having a private conversation about how you would think they'd have a sign on tables reserved for prams etc when manager interrupted and was very abusive and told us to leave if we didn't like it. When I went back to ask why I didn't receive any beans I got told told it's n ot working because they have a new till when I said that's not good I got told it's not their fault. Reported on feedback but no reply why bother Costa

Sausage sandwich good, but should have a brown/wholemeal option in snacks.

Great friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere with good coffee.

Paid for cream with mince pie didn’t get it. Also was mouthed at by sales assistant for sitting down with out being seated. This was done in front of all the customers. We sat down as one of us felt u well and is suffering from cancer and also had elderly person with us. Would like to say enjoyed our coffees but we didn’t. Poor customer relations by a gob on legs

Stood in queue told my partner to go and find us a table. Staff member shouts across store “excuse me It is first come first serve!” Then proceeds to go through the queue asking “have you already got a table”. This is bizarre I have never known anything like it. We went to Starbucks and did the same without being heckled. Looking at reviews, staff here are well known for being rude. 👎

I go in most day as I pass to collect my children from school and It can be a long wait but unlike Starbucks the Costa staff are always smiling great bunch keep up the good work

I've been here many times now, treat myself whenever I go shopping at Denton and always been great service. It's always popular but they work through the queues well. Also a great choice for me as I can't have gluten.
