Costa Coffee in Fylde

I had a medium latte and my daughter had a medium cappuccino. We shared a new cake to try. Our drinks had an odd taste. At first I thought it may be because of the taste of cake in our mouths but half way down the drink it still tasted odd. We asked the man (not sure if he was the manager) if they had a new blend. He said not ! He offered us another cup but we said thank you but we will give it another go. After another couple of sips we decided to ask if we could have drinks replaced with perhaps small cups and a different milk. KINDLY they did that for us and then we discovered it was the milk that was off. Perhaps the milk could be checked on opening a new pack !

Costa Coffee at St Anne’s, Lancashire, offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee is consistently good, and the pastries are fresh. Toast with jam is great. It’s a great spot to relax or catch up on work. Service can be slow at peak times, but that is because it’s busy. Plenty of seating. A reliable choice for a caffeine fix in town!

EXTREMELY SLOW service - no sense of urgency with staff preparing orders. Not enough staff for tha amount if customers. Shop stuffy with steamed up windows. Very unpleasant experience.

Decent food and service, however there was a fly that kept coming when i was trying to drink and eat, also a bit questionable that we had to pay £7 for a croissant and a cup of tea

Nice coffee, and a good selection of other types of drinks. Staff helpful and polite. Very poor choice of lactose/dairy free, vegan products.

My order was slightly incorrect (missed item) and I thought the sandwich I got would be homemade. Slightly disappointed.

My orders says delivered but it isn’t here, I haven’t got my order and it’s over a hour late!

Love this Costa coffee shop, all staff are very efficient. It was very quiet due to the rain. My only criticism is that the tables are very sticky.

Although Costa coffee is a bit expensive you certainly get a really great cup of coffee and besides i asked for a small latte coffee and i received quite a fairly large glass of coffee and the staff are really friendly and you can stay in the coffee shop has long as you like. The atmosphere is lovely with really comfortable chairs and well decorated. I recommend Costa Coffee. Terence.

Don't often review coffee shops, but felt this was necessary. Filthy tables and floor area. Staff not clearing tables. Had to ask for damp cloth to wipe my table. Toilets are not cleaned, or bin emptied. There's far too manly local businesses in Lytham and St Anne's offering a far better coffee shop experience for a cheaper price. Costa have really taken their finger of the pulse. On a positive note the staff are really pleasant when ordering from the counter.

Sluggish service, even for a Costa. The barista was helpful, however, in agreeing not to pump the usual ridiculous amounts of vanilla syrup into our lattes.

Over an hour late. Missed the delivery as needed to catch a bus. Ordered this an hour and a half before I needed to leave. .

Ordered some cakes as a treat for the kids. One was the wrong one ordered, but they was good cakes. The delivery was longer then expected but the weather is bad and i think they was busy.Delivery driver was nice and polite guy.

Chocolate cornflake cake, where did this become a cake? Especially pushing the £2 mark for one! Staff were miserable and the tables extremely sticky. The toilet were smelly, with overflowing bins. Very unpleasant really.

The standard of coffee is ok but was hoping for better quality tasting flat white. The service I receive in Preston costa is better in respect of the coffee art and taste.

Lovely as normal but 50p extra for non dairy milk?

As usual great food, drinks and helpful pleasant staff toilets clean as is the whole of the Cafe you can't go wrong by using a Costa Coffee.

Tried the plant based porridge it wasn't great 😕 Coffee was great though

This is a little costa in lytham down a side street, perfect for a coffee or a light lunch. Great staff always customer friendly whenever I go in the place it alway clean.

They need to sot out the leak on the floor before there is an accident.

Tables need to be cleaned properly. Two occasions now the tables were clean in the middle and not on the edges.

Comfortable and quiet. Had no problems finding a table and the brew and food were great. The table could have done with a little cleaning but otherwise not bad. It's a Costa. You know what to expect.

Lovely Costa in Lytham. Cappuccino was excellent. The chocolate cake was a bit dry but only at the sides which I'm guessing is from the lights inside the cake cabinet.

After a lovely walk, we popped in for a coffee...well a frappe for me....and a little cake....and sat chilling for 30 mins...tasty as always...

Marvellous experience and a great bunch of staff who clearly enjoy their jobs. Chris in particular helped us carry our drinks tray to our table a lovely guy who went out his way.

Dreadful, slow service. Had to queue twice, once to order and once to wait for the order to be done.

Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable coffee at reasonable price, food too dear until Costa reintroduces it's Meal Deals.

Only good thing about experience was air-conditioned on a really hot day. Service was poor,didn't understand the female member of staff, made worse by mask. Latte was like a cup of milk,cappuccino not very warm, iced coffee to strong,so total waste of £11

Very poor This store displays items on sale but when asked for the item they have none left. This was midday with no stock.

With all that is going on Costa in Lytham are doing well to provide a takeout service in a secure manor. They are operating a one way system in the shop along with sanitiser station and perspex screening. It is worthwhile noting that if you have the Costa app that you can also take advantage of the offers that come up from time to time. A friendly service.

Should be directing to own Costa code as many people confused as didn't have NHS app. ....resulting in lost sit down business. Otherwise very clean and served promptly.

Hand sanitiser when you walk in, good distancing on the tables and wasn't crowded. Plus the coffee was good and much needed

Staff went above and beyond to find us a table whilst sticking to social distancing measures, which limits the number of tables available. Drinks were served quickly and up to standard.

Unfortunately, oven out of action, cold sandwiches only Coffee great as usual, friendliness and attention to sanitisation by staff was excellent. Well done!

A good place for a good coffee and snacks. Reasonable accommodation and plenty of it . Worth a try.

Filthy. Flies around and upon the counters. Flies also around the seating areas. Toilets a disgusting mess with wet floor and dirty seat. A disgrace - not what you expect from Costa

Usual coffee place with some nice cakes

Nice location just off the bridge with all you've come to expect from a Costa Coffee shop. Customer toilets (at the time of writing one was closed for maintenance) Polite and friendly staff and plenty of seating. Recommended.

This has got to be the worst cup of coffee I've had in ages. I've been in this costa loads of time but it was so awful I left most of it. Should have taken it back and would have if I'd paid for it but bought it with my points. Think I'll be giving this Costa a miss in future!

Rubbish coffee. Asked for extra shot yet received a coffee you could read a newspaper through. Sent back and received the same again.
