From start to finish amazing service. Paula found me a quiet place to sit as I suffer autism. The two chefs Jacob and Micheal could not do enough. Ive come come happy and very satisfied. Thank you guys 😊

Good food great atmosphere veary friendly staff good service

We reserved a table for four on bank holiday Monday for 5.30. The three adults decided on the carvery and ordered a kids meal for the 3 year old. We were told there was an issue and there was a wait of between 30 & 40 mins. After 45 mins and no food and a very grumpy and tired toddler, we were told the waiting time was extended for a further 10 to 15 mins. We had just decided to ask for a refund after the extension time when the child's food arrived. The adults then went for the carvery. The meat was dried out, roast potatoes were undercooked and the veg was contaminated with other bits of food dropped in. This was supposed to be a relaxing meal after a family day out. We have eaten here numerous times but this experience was so poor we won't be visiting again.

This one of the best pubs I've been to;( Lytham St Annes) it's very clean, has a great ambiance, gorgeous decorations, pleasant staff, lots of room outside, tasty food, is reasonably priced, and has the most ingenious idea of having separate areas for adults and families. I really liked how the Pub was divided into two areas: one for families and another for those who wanted a more relaxed atmosphere. Great pub I highly recommend.

Went as a group of 3 and had fish and chips. Really enjoyed the food staff were friendly and helpful and the price was good.

not a good experience terrible food, the pizzza and garlic bread was like eating cardboard never again!

Had carvery. Everything so dried up. The chef couldn't even cut the beef roast. Changed his knife at least 5 times. Then tryed to put the dried up beef on my plate. Which I refused.my husband had meal from menu. Which again the veg was dried up. Staff lovely. Meeting outside in the garden area. Benches sre awful. Really needs to be better. We are local. But this experience. Want be coming back.

Opted to have the carvery here today, meat was nice but the veg was poor and the roast potatoes were rather anaemic. Pudding was nice and staff were friendly.

Re-visited here for Easter Sunday with the Family(11 people).Great Carvery with a chatty Chef(didnt get his Name).Excellent greeting by a Guy called Kevin,he was great all afternoon,pleasant,chatty and professional.A Lady called Zoe who was there last time we ate was also very good at her job...thanks to all

Just popped in for drinks 🍸 on the way back to our campsite. Good sized pub with lots of seating indoors and outside 👌, nice and roomy with lots of space at the bar area. Nice greeting by the barstaff as we entered and sorted out what we were going to have from a very good selection 👌 of beers 🍻. We felt that relaxed while we were there we had another round as well 😀. Food was on offer from a carvery and a separate food menu with a good selection, people were ordering food before we left.

Very expensive for pub food ,got our order wrong then waited 30 minutes for puddings and it was not that busy, staff was too busy chatting to serve it wasn't that special

Disappointing carvery, meat was dry, poor selection of vegetables and roast potatoes were rock hard. Another ick of mine is when the server starts to clear plates away while people are still eating, poor etiquette.

They didn't bring our desserts (ordered and paid for), when challenged they blamed us for not telling the member of staff who cleared the dishes that we were having dessert

First visit in over a year, total redecoration and new menu. Very friendly and efficient staff

Lovely pub, nicely laid out. Had the carvery which was gorgeous especially the crackling. 😋 The dessert are also huge and tasty.. Personal opinion would be roast potatoes could be crispier. But would recommend 👍 #foodie #yum #pubgrub

A pleasant but very quiet pub ( 13.45 hrs ) upside - staff very friendly, downside - drinks and food overpriced , I am unlikely to call again as you can get the same thing at much more competitive prices.

On our visit on saturday 16 of novemeber we was very disappointed with the short woman with brown top due to her being extremely rude we will not be returning back to this pub absoulety shocking avoid at all costs unless you want to be treated like trash and save your money

Confirmed why I don't like carvery

Me and my wife went there for pudding and a few drinks. It’s was a lovely atmosphere and the staffs are really friendly. It’s a must try. You won’t be disappointed. Also I’m their postman and they offers me a cup of tea. It’s was needed. Was having a rubbish day and it’s cheered me up. Thank you Gavin. Much appreciated

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The service ruined my sister in laws 18th birthday meal as the staff are awful and rude. Such a shame as we were looking forward to it for quite some time. I would encourage anyone to avoid this place not because of the food but because of the staff. The food was actually very nice.

Wasn't impressed with the carvery at all. The meat was very fatty and chewy and the roast potatoes were hard. Maybe try ordering from the menu if we go again.

Was sat down quickly hardly a wait. Went to the bar and ordered 2 carveries and 2 drinks for £32. For the amount of food you get not bad I don't think.

If you like see through wafer thin meats from the Carvery....this is the place to go. One basically is paying for a plate of vegetables as the meats are sliced by Gillette razors.

Usually great food but today was terrible. Lasagne was so overcooked the pasta was black and burnt. Chicken wings were also dry and overdone

All 3 of us had the carvery and it was horrendous 2 choices of meat turkey and beef (when there should be 3) I don't eat turkey and chicken so that left just beef. It was incredibly dry. All the veg was hard, dry and wrinkled. The small amount of mash was all crusty and dried up. We asked for more and waited 10 minutes for it and they then brought out microwaved small amount for 3 of us. It was truly bad and tasteless. We left most of it and our dogs benefited from the meat that was too dry and tough for us to eat.

My husband and I called here for a carvery. It was delicious, everything cooked to perfection and the young lad serving (I forgot his name, but he was very young) was lovely, chatty and helpful. After lunch my husband was so amazed with your icecreams, he had 3 different flavours, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I was too full after lunch, but was so tempted to have a piece of cake. I opted for the school cake, which they put in a takeaway box for me to eat in my hotel later. It tasted lovely. All of the staff were happy, helpful and polite, especially the deputy manager Lee, he's such a nice lad and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay there, he was exceptional. We will be back next time we're in Blackpool.

Ordered a 3 course meal did not get the third part of the meal deal and they should use smaller plates as the food fits on half the plate.

Breakfast was fine until we asked for extra butter for toast and were told we would have to pay. Sorry that's just pathetic. Will go elsewhere next time.

Well been here for breakfast several time however not coming back!!!we had full English and ordered extra toast..everything was lovely untill we asked for extra butter..we were bought 2 individual portions and were told if we want anymore..there would be a charge...well ive never ever had this issue..£24 for 2 breakfasts with extra toast and told if we needed more butter we would have to pay extra..well you have just lost 2 good paying customers..😡

Burger was fantastic, reasonably priced and they had a small choice of real ales which were really nice,,, more than you can say for other nearby places. Staff were friendly and attentive and quick service.

We went in wuth our Mini Daushound and we welcomed with open arms we knew there was outside seating for dogs under cover the Lady that welcomed us was so friendly to us and the dog as we're all the staff the carvery was beautiful excellent value and cake away carrot cake lovely would definitely recommend the place

Great place with a good atmosphere and service. However, the prices are not very competitive compared to other well known pub outlets.

Had the carvery was ok bit more meat would of been nice

It came up as the first pub on a dog friendly pub search so we drove there for my daughter’s birthday. Upon entering, we double checked that our dog, Reggie, would be allowed inside and were told that we’d have to sit outside, even though it was raining and freeze cold. Very disappointed ☹️

Just called in kn way back home for some tea, a neat/clean pub, family area to, plus no dogs. A really good atmosphere and the food we had was VG. Others seemed to be enjoying the carvery. All good, would recommend.

Went today for a carvery. Spent £60 for four of us. Meat was like rubber and cold, veg and potato’s were hard and just didn’t taste nice at all. No flavour just like eating watery rubber and cardboard unfortunately. We did tell them at the end it wasn’t nice and we got a free dessert but we all left hungry as couldn’t eat half the food. We really did try due to being so hungry but it just was awful sorry! It’s the second time we’ve been now and it’s been the same we thought the first time was just a bad day and give it another chance. Won’t be coming again for a carvery. Staff are nice and good atmosphere.

Fantastic pub. Great for a Sunday dinner carvery. They also have a great selection of dishes on the regular menu plus the cake station is amazing. We always get a huge slice cake to take away.

I am extremely disappointed to learn..after having dined there before to find out that the meat that is served in there ( apart from pork) is HALAL !! What gives this establishment the right to serve halal meat to their customers who to the most part are 99.9% non Muslims. Avoid this establishment.

Went for food yesterday 19th July. Bar staff really good and pleasant. The person who was on the sweet side was not. We waited 15 whilst she was making 4 ice creams. She seemed busy but didn't Acknowledge us or that we had been waiting. Then she walked past us to take the ice creams to the table, then started to clear tables. The pub wasn't busy and loads of tables were free n clean. We left and unfortunately you lost another order. Being short staffed is accepted due breweries cutting back but being ignored isn't acceptable.

Good breakfast, nice atmosphere, and fair value for your money. Update 2024: Food undercooked. Service was rude and overpriced for the quantity on the plate. Deserts overpriced and my personal opinion, to big so over selling on this point. The manager is quite argumentative, and the waiter was trying to be clever and embarrassing. The manager did have the food re done and cooked quite well, just leaves a bad taste in the mouth with the behaviour from the staff, and spoils the day a bit when we only get the odd day to spend with the partner just me and her.

Second time we have visited this pub/restaurant. Food excellent,we can say the same about the staff and service, absolutely fantastic. A member of staff even came chasing after us as we left the restaurant,because I left my glasses on the table. Five star service,many thanks guys, we will visit again you can be sure of that.

Visited with My Daughter(27)and my Son(23)it was his birthday on Monday 3rd and would of been my Dads on the 7th June. So we came there as both my parents loved it there and the food is great. We opted for a small carvery..boy oh boy me and my son couldn't finish it even though we hadn't piled it on like some others we have seen in other carvery places.The lovely girl who was attending to our table went and got us containers so we could take it home. I had mine for breakfast the next morning.😄

We celebrated my grandsons birthday party there last night and the service was dreadful , all the meals came out at different times , my husbands and mine arrived 25 mins after everyone else’s and it was only a salad and a wrap ! Yet we ordered at the same time as my daughter , i could of appreciated it if we had been waiting on a proper meal … I had to ask a member of staff and they were not bothered and not apologetic , … not friendly staff …. But extremely disappointed to say we are local yet they don’t seem to care about the locals … oh well we won’t be going back to “” Waters Edge “” again !!!

Good food&drink, great value nice people and really clean.... Couldn't ask for more... Brilliant if you have kids as well (Sunday lunch carvey highly recommended)

It was a Monday evening so it was very quiet. The staff are very good. My order was mixed up, and the waiter corrected straight away and I received a refund good customer service.

Nowhere near any water that could be seen....and I'm not quite sure that the sea ever came inland this far - but, friendly staff and a pleasant public house with an extensive menu. We opted for a carvery roast - but although ok, I think it had been left under the gantry lights a bit too long. Turkey was good, beef a little dried out. Plates not hot..Roast pots had dried out and were just 'chewy'. We'll call again when it's a little busier/ or try other items on the menu.

Nice pub but they really need to clean up the outside area quicker after people have left, the beer garden was messy when we arrived.

Booked a table for 12, 2 starters came out then nothing for 30 minutes. Main course came out and missed off 3 mains when we asked about the rest none seemed to know anything. Eventually the food came out but was stone cold, very overpriced for deep fried food. Won’t be going back again

Had my dad funeral spread there 16th april 2024 hot buffet it was just the best everything was so lovely certainly recommend it there they did us proud staff very friendly there nothing too much trouble Thankyou so much

Nice food we went for a carvery good selection of veg bit stingy on the meat for a large size as my son got a small and no difference apart from a stuffing ball good location

A strange experience. On the face of it a nice looking pub, but the food I had was poor for a modern pub in 2024. The cake thing is weird, because it’s not the cake on display you get served. The staff are incredibly miserable in the times I’ve been in. For a local it’s a disappointment not to be visited again.

My wife had the cheese and onion pie .which was nothing more than mashed potato with a cheese flavour. My fish was lovely but the chips were microwaved. Not very good for the price they charge. This was a lovely pub at one time. But its fallen by the wayside. Now.

Our local, it's a great pub with a great menu.
