I had an amazing experience at Costa, thanks to the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. I was served by George who made sure I felt welcome and provided excellent service. The coffee was perfectly brewed! Highly recommend visiting Costa, especially if you get to see George!

Update June 15th 2023: what a lovely local Costa we have here. Tops caring manageress and her team . Excellent! Am sure many as I are so grateful for here and the persevering work hours and days & awkward situations borne with, that the staff, & good leaders, here put in. Many!! thanks! Excellent !! Onwards so at March 2023. Excellent good true boss lady I. talented in the role, and her senior and other colleagues the same persevering, & for us locals so, through tough days and all sorts. Much !! appreciated it is. Many! thanks. Earlier review was : One of our locals, Westbury-on-Trym, and a great coffee shop I reckon. One of the many of various chains and independents the same in UK, and our local realms England coffee shops, who give us such hard working young staff who stick to their job well and kindly &- persevering with awkward situations in tough days for us all. We all much value that cup of coffee and hospitality corners for our lives. And maybe other things such as booze at home and trips to the cinema could go by the way in tough days for money, and enjoy a simple cup of coffee and touch of good food fayre, such as the very tasty sausage roll they do now here. A quality lunchtime or breakfast brunch snack of good nutrition. They of course do other food of quality for those of us with vegan desires/beliefs, and counter what folk say because maybe it is politically moved ?? I find Costa coffee very tasty enough indeed in its flavour, as I am sure many do and I think it's very nice. The decaff coffee has a good flavour I think, also.

Worst coffee ever, Its gone downhill over the years. The coffee Is exceptionally weak.

Westbury Hill was clean, warm and inviting. Lovely pot of tea with my mum and I had a cheese and ham toastie as well. It was lovely sitting in the window in the sunshine in comfy chairs, and the service was quick

Hi went Costa Coffee today in Westbury on trym Bristol as I do very often and had excellent service a lovely Latte and bacon & egg samwich also kept very clean Heather Cocks

Windows filthy large areas smeared in food ,crumbs and bits of food all over chairs . Floors not cleaned around edges , this was 8.30 in the morning . Walked past in the afternoon windows still not cleaned .

My husband & I just had 2 coffees & very nice they were too..

Lovely little Costa, particularly busy shop and so I'd recommend not going for the lunchtime rush due to nowhere to sit.

Both me and my wife usually plan to stop by or pass through when going into or past westbury. I've always had a really great quality drink. I always have a double shot in a later or cooler and it's always been way better value for cost which I love. The ladies been working here for years and always wear the best of smiles. Love the staff and quality of product here.

Clean and tidy throughout with regular COVID safe cleaning taking place. Polite, attentive, prompt, friendly and professional staff providing good range of drinks and snacks. Hot and well made oat milk latte for me and Americano for my husband.

A bit pricey but excellent staff and nice atmosphere.

Amazing service. Had a query about ingredients as getting coffee & cake for someone with a severe coconut allergy, they checked ALL the ingredients, made sure the milk jug was not contaminated with coconut milk... Staff lead was very knowledgeable about stock & procedures with allergies 😊

A fairly friendly and well run Version of the national chain. The seats at the front window are nice but Those that overlook two toilets are less desirable. Gets very busy at lunchtimes with locals and shoppers. However slightly cramped conditions makes it not an ideal laptop base.

Need to update your opening hours. It is not good enough to state 6pm and be closed at 5:22pm. Not the only branch this applies to, happens a lot. Costa Coffee sort this out!

Nice staff, great coffee and a good place to sit back and chill.

I arrived here just as a lady was kicking off about an order being wrong, the staff handled it very graciously but she wasn't having any of it and left very grumpily. I just wanted to say to the trainees that were there DONT LISTEN TO HER, you were doing amazing and starting any new job is hard, mistakes are made. It's how you act afterwards that counts. Keep going guys!! Also my thanks to the manager who was keeping a level head and helping out all the trainees as best she could despite there being only one of her and several trainees. And at the end my coffe was perfect as always :-)

Really freindly and helpful andcehen the lady at the next table to me accidentaly knocked her coffee over with her handbag the staff cleared up the mess and replaced her coffee free of charge even though she offered to pay for it.

You should make it clear there is no table service after following instructions to sit at table. It's not good to be ignored on entry, no attempt at eye contact and to sit there for 10 minutes not knowing what to do. Grumpy staff, awful attitude and service and stale croissant!

I'm a fan of Costa Coffee and purchased two cakes from this branch on Saturday 1st May at 11.15am (cherry bakewell and lemon curd tart). Having got the cakes home, my wife and I bit into them and immediately realised they were both very stale - the icing on both had hardened and cracked, the pastry was very hard and the filling was stale. On closer inspection, the lemon curd tart had dust and hair on (see photos). As you can imagine, neither of us took a second bite! This food should have been thrown out, not sold at full price to an unsuspecting customer.

Staff were pleasant but the shop is very small to keep in with the current covid-19 guidelines

Lovely branch of Costa. Friendly staff but not loads of seating as quite a small branch. Had the polar bear cake which I highly recommend.

Didn't have the promotional syrup so should have left their advertising for it inside. Seeing the A frame advert for it was the only reason I went in. Disappointing.

Nice place to meet for coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good position in Westbury on trym village. With only a couple of seats out side but in this weather it's best indoors. They have only one loo for everyone but it's only a tiny shop. But still has room for some soft chairs as well as the usual table and chairs. Quite busy most of the time which is a good sign as people like it.

The hot chocolates here are very good and the staff friendly. There was also more seating than what I was expecting from looking in the shop window, but it's not huge. It's expensive for what it is but the clue is in the name...

I went into Costa in Westbury-On-Trym today for the first time. Service was efficient and up to Costa's high standards. Space is a little limited and the coffee shop was full (good to see) giving it a lively feel and making it an 'in' place. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a coffee break in the area.

coffee was good and customer service was fine. kids choice very well priced. Shame the toilets were such a mess.

I used to love going to costa in the village. This particular one I find so unfriendly, the staff there are abrupt, I find this a few times. I ordered a coffee to drink in, the girl at the check out was messing around with the other girl, ignoring me. Finally she took my payment, I found a table with a pile of used cups and trays on it, I sat down hoping someone will clear it. But no, I was called from behind the till to come and get my coffee. I picked it up and return to my table still hoping someone will notice he dirty cups on the my table. I had to go back and ask them to clear it up for me. Not a nice experience, I had enough of it. i come to a coffee shop to relax not to be ignored and get annoyed. Costa, you need to up your customer service if you want to have your tables full

Cosy - village centred coffee shop.

I ordered a cappuccino but it had too much dry chocolate on top it which caused me to choke. The service was neutral..not friendly or in any way welcoming. Not a warm pleasant experience, just a cup of coffee.

Quite a busy Costa. Check there is a table before your order a drink to sit in. Drinks are nice. Staff are friendly and efficient. very clean and tidy. They are quick to clean dirty tables and sweep up any mess on the floor. Door is quite heavy and a bit of a struggle if you are a wheelchair user or have a pushchair. There are a few outside tables.

Fantastic service at this branch. The staff are welcoming, professional and well mannered. I just wish that Costa as a company would provide more vegan food options. Their drinks provision is light-years ahead of their food. My husband and I pooped in for lunch. Apart from popcorn and crisps, our only option for food was a dry toasted tea cake each: butter is included, but they do not provide vegan margarine/spread! We bought a pot of jam, but it was not the same. Shame. If they had more vegan options this would be a 5-star review for sure. Come on Costa - your vegan fans have been asking you for years to provide a vegan sandwich/panini/wrap/salad!!

Fabulous place with great staff. Ivana the manageress always has a smile on her face even when extremely busy! They always do the drinks just as you like them and don't charge extra for soya milk unlike another cafe in the village!

I have been to Westbury's Costa today 29/6/2017 around 10am with a disabled person on a wheelchair and the girls on a shift were just wonderful! So thoughtful, helpful and kind. I think they should be rocognised for the great job they are doing! Thank you!

Best Costa I've ever used. The staff are great even when it's busy they keep it smiley and efficient. Also seen to look after their new employees too.

Great service and good coffee from a chain outlet. Friendly staff too make it a pleasure to visit. Nice comfortable seating areas too and if you can get a window seat, a great place to people watch.

Very miserable, not even a smile, manager not helpful at all, not welcoming should not be serving the public in wrong job in my opinion . Not the usual service I experience at your outlets, as i visit many others. I Will not visit this outlet again, very poor.
