Costa Coffee in Denbighshire

The most dirtiest toilets I think I've ever come across! Pee all over the floor and toilet seat. Absolutely stank of stale pee 🤮

I wouldn't waist my money the coffee is crap

Love this cafe! Was in Rhyl during June 2024…. we didn’t really have any place in mind so we just walked & walked till we were thirsty & hungry then we saw this cafe that was still opened after 6pm while many shops in the small town already closed for the day!! The coffee was really big cup! If you are there with another person, maybe can just order one cup of coffee to share then add one or two pieces of cakes to go with it. The place is not crowded so is a good place to laze around or chit chat with friends :-)

Love this place, tried the new iced flat white,it's fab, the creamy foam is actually skimmed milk

Great place to visit for a coffee

I was walking the dog on a hot day, and fancied an iced coffee. I was told I couldn't take the dog inside (fair enough), so went to the drive through order point. Apparently they can't take an order there without a car. The woman who came out to advise me of that did not have any interest in taking my order. This leaves me disinclined to use Costa in future.

The food came on time, but the white hot chocolate was bland. It tasted more like warm milk.. I did put a bit of sugar in to make it more enjoyable. The panini was okay, it was quite crunchy and hard on the top and I did expect it to be more favourable with the pesto but there was barley any in the panini. I didn't hate my order but I am a little disappointed with them lack of flavour in both my items

Penny is always super lovely to our daughter. Regular customer, always happy.

It's always a good choice for a coffee and this place was very good. Not sure why the coffee would be diferent to any other Costa but the coffee here was really nice.

They've recently changed the WiFi you now have to login but it won't change colour and allow my login and I've noticed when sitting outside after closing with my last coffee I can't get Internet at all it's throttled which considering I spend everyday in there is irratating I had to move away from the seated area and sun to watch YouTube.public WiFi has to be stopped being throttled you can't go on it without a VPN but if you do you spend more time messing around trying to get anything...as for the high St rhyl Costa it's in the dark ages never can get Internet in that place a real joke considering we are paying for a premium priced product..

Little to say. At the risk of repeating myself. Costa in Rhyl was clean, well presented. Staff were notably pleasant and friendly. The coffee, as usual, was good, and the food was as good as could be expected.

Busy as it was easter sunday but not big queue and quick to serve, staff very pleasant and helpful

I received what seemed a regular hot chocolate not a rolo hot chocolate.

Toilets were disgusting and clearly not regularly cleaned. Coffee was luke warm, definitely memorable for the wrong reasons.

Food was freezing, updated stated there was no driver available but food wouldn’t be cooked until there was someone available. Toastie came stone cold and solid

I ordered a hot chocolate and it was really nice they where also surprisingly cheep compared to other places. As well the frappe was nice.

Only been a handful of times, this one definitely is more drive-thru focused, so lacks the atmosphere of the smaller Costa on Rhyl high street. Still as good as a Costa gets, you know what your getting.

Ordered a coffee, coffee went onto saucer, this happens, I went to the counter 3 staff ignored me (no one waiting to be served) a 4th came talking on Comms I assume he was taking a drive through order. I said can I get some tissues, he said you will have to wait! What he can't pass a copy ple serviettes whilst he's talking? I leaned over and got some myself and suddenly got the attention of the staff!

Don't expect fast or friendly service here. Staff make no effort to be pleasant, cups overfilled and saucers swimming in coffee, no paper towels on tables.

Quick, efficient, friendly staff

No large cups! It was dead! Had a free drink so they charge me to make it large even though i always have large then charged 4 for a sos butty and then tried to charge for sauce! It was supposed to be a deal 2 for a butty. The staff had no idea one was running around with a puppy behind the counter absolutely appalling compared to Prestatyn costa which we go 3 4 times a week. Wont be back to Rhyl in a hurry

Half full cups of drink and the serving staff are very rude and aggressive, same every time. Dirty tables never cleared. Will give this Costa a miss in the future, has to be the worst Costa out there

Nice and quiet first thing. Surprised how different the coffee tastes from branch to branch. Will definitely be back.

Disgusting coffee. Machines clearly not been cleaned out. Tasted nasty! The smell of the coffee was enough to make you gag. Toasties were gross too. Hideous. Usually Costa is a safe bet when travelling but this one was terrible. Kept the coffees in the car in case we got sick, the smell of the nasty coffee haunted us all the way home.

Fast service by two lovely young ladies, and the coffee, as always was lush.

Had my usual Saturday treat a lovely Latte at my favourite Costa Coffee Shop. Lovely clean shop, lovely staff can't ask for more. ☕ ☕😊🍰🍰

Food was warmed up fairly well. Drink was mediocre slightly tasteless. Server incredibly bored and didn't want to be there. Moaned how he had 2 hours left on his shift. Looked troubled to be serving me. Shame really.

The first time I visited this coffee shop I was disappointed, our drinks took nearly half an hour to get delivered and they were also not very hot. This time however they had upped their game. Service was quick and coffee was hot, well done

I was in Costa when the lady with the pram came in, the staff were very professional with her she was so rude and her language was disgusting, they don't come to work to get treated like that, they are so helpful with everyone.

Coffee is very poor, bitter and just no depth of flavour, only tried as was free and confirmed why not drunk costa for years, quite possibly not even as good as it used to be, either that or the independent coffee shops have raised their game so much that costa is worse in comparison. Seek out real qualjtycoffee that is brewed with passion rather than this generic mass market brew

Costa can be hit and miss. Their barista's seem to lose the love shortly after their training is complete. Not this place! Great coffees had this morning. Probably the best Costa coffee we've had in a long time! Spotlessly clean too. Highly recommended 😊

Great to have a drive thru in the area! Really love Costa coffee and on our first visit here I was happy to see the great quality and fabulous service I'm used to with this chain. Lovely friendly staff, quick service, great stuff.
