Friendly staff Prompt service Great Cup of coffee

Regular customer over several years. Still content with the coffee, food and general atmosphere. Service remains good.Compliments to Mansii who is always very pleasant Lock on the toilet door an improvement. Will continue to visit

Waited roughly about a minute before got acknowledged, Waited over 5 minutes before I even got served ( just to to be clear there was only 3 customer in side all had drinks) The place was filthy all tables looked like they ain't wiped all day, few still had empty drinks and trays, toilets were abysmal with no toilet roll in the dispenser, loads on the floor mind. This costa used to be great but now totally new staff that obviously needs more help from other Costas and training definitely needs required.

Was disgusted with attitude of new manager to her staff. Very unprofessional telling someone off in front of customers and next day made them cry. Used to be a nice coffee shop not anymore. Staff was really friendly. Acocks Green

Not as much choice here as other branches of Costa, but it's smaller.

What a lovely welcome when you walk in to this shop the staff all look like they just want to go home cheer up guys it may never happen

Nice shop, clean, tidy. Staff friendly Outside chairs and ashtrays.

Fast service. Food and drink are great. You can eat in, take away or have food delivered.

My daughter went in a few days ago, and there was a young blonde girl behind the counter. She was totally unprofessional and rude to my daughter, when all she did was ask for a drink. The worker snapped back and said the equipment was broken and then continued to give her a “dirty look.” My daughter didn’t order anything and left upset and thirsty. We have never had issues coming here before but this is not the atmosphere you want to be in when wanting a drink. Will be going elsewhere if this happens again. Please Costa, have a chat with your workers.. ☹️

My friend and l went to Costa Coffee after he had been to get his specs adjusted at the nearby opticions. We sat outside because it was a nice warm day. He had an Americano with a dash of milk, l had a Capuccino. The server was really friendly and helpful wanting to get our order correct to our satisfaction. We sat outside for about half an hour and enjoyed poeple watching. It was a most pleasant time.

Expensive £3.30 medium in my opinion.

Just returned to say the manager Tim gives the place a really welcoming and family feel. His team is great as well but Tim brings something extra... Enjoying a brekkie at Costa. Such a friendly welcoming place. Thank you to Tim for recommending a warm Cinnamon bun! Top marks!

I was shocked…because I really like costa,I use it everywhere.But this cafe was dirtiest that all others.Very dirty tables,I said to staff lady to clean table but she ignored me.Toilet was horrible and smelled bad. It need to be changed and someone from Costa managers need to contact them,because Costa is very good coffee and very clean and nice everywhere.First time I saw so indifferent staff. It is big and nice located place.Entrance for disabled and toilets.But sad to see so dirty cafe where come so many people😢

Absolutely disgusting staff who love to mock people that have mental disabilities. I used to love coming in here until they employed a load of kids with no manners. As far as the manager goes I am surprised he is still in the job. I have never come across such a rude person who has it in for me just based on the way I look. I could go on for ages with that guy but I guess his punishment at that age is having a career in costa

I came into the store today and I had a gift card I was expected to know what to do with the card and after a lady said happy new year to him and he completely blanked her I wouldn’t waste your time

Quiet coffee shop excellent staff

Very accommodating staff, and great coffee.

In this climate of counting the pennies I didn't think £3.30 for a tea and single toast was too bad. A simple light breakfast but does the job.

Member staff found very rude ie young girl didn’t ask her name over ordering a portion of toast , she almost got into a argument , “I replied I’m not arguing I’m just explaining how I’ve order toast before ie 1 portion which is two slices whether it’s brown or white , young girl then walked off wiping counter when I had to ask for my receipt

Not a great experience overall, service was slow and not that friendly. The seating and tables look like they need a good clean. Food was okay. Next I would probably just take out.

Rude , ignorant staff. Asked for more milk and staff member looked to another and rolled her eyes. Didn't even speak to me. Opened late. Slow service. Will NOT return. Just awful.

A gold standard in customer service, no matter customer queue,you are attended within 5 mn with your order in hand. A popular place.no wonder... you get quality ,speed and curtouse service..best place !

Very tasty toasted sandwiches here. We had the vegan ham and cheese and Americano and Mocha with lots of cream to drink.

Clean, and quick service what else do you need?

Very disappointed. The staff seemed disoriented , the girl serving wasn’t sure how to make ice tea and the other staff told her to remove the tea bag . That wasn’t the problem but the coffee itself not good. Caramel latte doesn’t taste like caramel at all . Maybe the syrup is bad quality. What type of soya milk you use ? The coffee just tasted weird . I threw them In the bin. Won’t ever come back against Starbucks is much better . Hibiscus peach ice tea tasted like flavoured water .

OK service but looked forward to working but Internet didn't work!

We went there today and the staff are absolutely lovely and friendly, the lady at the till told us we can get a free milk for the little one so she doesn't feel left out 😃

Good coffee selections,nice to drink even better with outdoor tables,the price was a little steep although it was worth it.

True blue enthusiasm. I have frequented many Costa Coffee shops in my time. The staff working at the Acocks Green branch, hats off to you. You are the happiest, most welcoming team I've experienced yet. As usual, coffee is consistent with the rest of the Costa Coffee Shops. I really enjoyed my cup of black gold sat on the comfy seating. Whatever you're doing to keep the team working with such enthusiasm, keep on doing it. We should bottle it up and prescribe it to the rest of businesses in the service sector. It would make the world a better place.

Gets busy sometimes. In the heart of Acocks Green Village. Outdoor seating. Used to have O2 WiFi but now picked up BT WiFi from the EE store nearby.

Always great coffee and fresh well prepared food.

All the staff I have tried they can’t make flat white! If I pay for the syrup I accept the syrup to be in there but guess wat they forget and tried to add it at the end which is pointless! Shitt service

Beautifully clean, lovely atmosphere and welcoming friendly & helpful, but, best of all efficient staff. The owner is marvellous and somewhat like a maitre d' - you can almost believe you're home, snuggled up with one of the many delicious offerings to munch and slurp (obvs I don't slurp personally 🙃) in front of the fire, reading one of the many newspapers supplied daily - fabulous! If I could give more stars for this one, I absolutely would 🤓

Love this place! I used to enjoy my lunch break here regularly before moving away from the area. Dropped in today for a quick break and after 5 years of not visiting, the manager still remembered me - that is what you call great customer service! 😁

Absolutely disgusted with the service. I'm a big fan of coffee and a Very good customer. Simply ordered my usual iced caramel latte, and it was given too me with the lid NOT put on right which i didn't realise until I took a sip, and went all over my nice white top. Considering that I have to go to work with a coffee stain, covering half my t-shirt I was not happy! I was given a flannel to wipe myself down, I spoke with the Manager and he just gave me a few remarks, not an apology or a complimentary drink. Just absolutely disgusted with the service and how they treat their customers.

this is best costa in west mids, i know so as my job takes me all places and end up with coffe and laptop out every where. However visting lots of costa in west and east mids. The staff here are nothing like any other costas this is only place that says take a seat we will bring over too you. Evey time i vist the do the same service. No other costa do that... This is only one so far i come across that goes above and beyond customer service. They make you feel your welcome and go extra mathron to make your costa experience unlike any other one you had.

Great coffee but expensive. Once you have seen one Costa, you have seen them all. I like coffee shops to have a bit of charachter.
