Quite disappointing for me and my friend with additional support need today. I asked for a normal mug as we usually do in Costa as it's easier and safer for my friend to enjoy her coffee. The young guy was very welcoming and pleasant said that the dishwasher was broken and they only had takeaway cups available, he did however ask another staff member who was doing something at the back wall. I heard the other staff member say quite blatantly "no, because if we do it for one then everyone else will expect it" We had a valid reason to request a mug yet this woman couldn't have cared less. So thank you CostaTillicoultry for not being willing to accommodate someone with additional support needs to enjoy coffee & lunch. Not a very inclusive attitude, hence we won't be back :(

We were a group of 7 cyclists on a busy Sunday morning. Large seating area inside and outside. Great coffee and wide selection of cakes etc.. at reasonable prices. Yes, very positive experience, highly recommened.

I came here on Friday lunchtime. The queue was literally out the door, so it must be a popular spot. After waiting about 10 minutes to get served, we were lucky to get a table as it was packed inside. We got cheese & ham toasties and they were fine, and we also got a coffee which was nice too. It was quite pricey, but that's standard with Costa. The staff were doing a really good job and the place was clean & tidy inside. We would come back again.

The cappuccino and latte coffees tasted like dirty dishwater and the cappuccino actually left a horrid taste in your mouth. The toilets were not very nice either, messy and wet (not sure what it was) patches on the floors Won't be back, very expensive and not a nice experience

I am an elderly person who popped in for a coffee and some toast. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. My coffee was good and my toast was lovely. I visit this Costa quite regularly and have never had any problems with the drinks or food and the staff have always been courteous to me. With the perspex screens it can be a little difficult to hear each other but we get by and I recognise it's to protect both the staff and customers due to Covid.

We regularly pop in but we were amazed that there were uncovered pastries and cakes right next to where people order their coffee! People talking/coughing over uncovered items, needless to say, we refrained from buying! Covid is still out there and for the chap who picked up every item in the chiller just makes us pleased we distance everything we buy!

Took the kids in for a hot chocolate after a bit shopping. I had to shout through the screens to be heard and could hardly hear the barista speaking. All hot chocolates ordered were just warm, not hot. Had to asks for extra bits (that come with the drink) for the festive hot chocolates. Maybe because it was close to finishing time the staff couldn't be bothered, not sure but customer service and drinks weren't good today. Waste of £18.

Went to this Costa expecting the usual high standafd of service we usually get at our local Cumbernauld outlet . With the covid restrictions we expect to use the track and trace system which has been in place for some time now, so did it the usual way. Only when finally being served the barista asked if we had used the system and could she actually see the page that had been signed into. When advised as a paying customer that seconds earlier I had indeed completed said scan she stated not good enough. So now customers must be multi taskers and internet savvy to buy a coffee and cake. You have the Costa app, track and trace, payment and ordering all to do at once. Who realised that you had to jump through all these hoops. As usual the staff seem to enjoy this little control thing as is expected from time to time from various jobsworths. Because of covid they feel they have somehow got the moral high ground to preach. Funny no members of staff had a mask on. Obviously didnt get to that page on the manual. With such a warm welcome we exited stage right and went to BBs another nearby eaterie for an enjoyable time and a more relaxed atmosphere. Will not venture back to this awful branch again as Costa, there are alternatives.

Disappointed Costa would not take cash for a cappuccino. Two pensioners having a lovely long walk to Dollar and back. Thought we'd reward ourselves at Costa. But oh no.! No card payment no coffee. I appreciate that we are advised to pay by card but thought that establishments would honour cash if that's all a customer had. We didn't want to carry bank cards on a 7 mile walk. Poor show! Chances of catching covid from a few coins is less likely than me flying to the moon. However round the corner a lovely hotdog/donut stand obliged. They could only sell milky coffee but the service was excellent. Costa Lost out on a sale and they don't deserve business.

I popped in for a quick coffee and the covid restrictions are well thought out, the staff member Rachel, helped me when I struggled with the signing on, nothing was any trouble both girls on duty are superb ambassadors for your coffee shop. The coffee was just how I like it and the cake was lovely and fresh, we will definitely be back

We popped in for a quick coffee and ended up having cake to! The coffee was hot and my Chai latte was extra hot just as I asked, the cakes were lovely and fresh. The staff were polite, the restaurant area was clean and tidy even with it being busy the staff were attentive, I was also happy to see that you could fill your own water bottles if you wanted to.

Despite asking for extra hot, it was pretty averagely warm. Not up to Costa standards. Nice to be able to sit outside.

Photos above are false as they don't even have that table type in the café but grimy, stained wooden ones. Not great experience. Asked for soya, she made with cow's and so had to remake. Too busy gossiping to her mate hanging off coffee machine. Also had to ask twice for toast to be well done. They simply didn't listen to me on either occasion and this isn't good enough as unless I was hovering waiting I would have started to drink cow's milk which would have made me ill. No apology just a pursing of the lips and a sarky 'oh soya you didn't say that'. Also toilets are a disgrace and cold water - this is Scotland for goodness sake. Tables grubby, scratched and feel unhygienic. High turnover mostly the elderly whilst I was there but it is a trapped audience in Tilly. Not deserving of one star as no excuse busy or not as ample staff but if they were customer focussed not chatting to passing friends (afterall they are at work!), they might have a cleaner place and happier customers. I note a number of other customers made same comments so they aren't bothered about feedback either. Don't go out of your way to visit this place or allow your kids to eat anything which drops on the tables... Lots of similar reviews on Google so obviously manager incompetent or doesn't care about customer experience.

Visited for a couple of coffees and cake. Good friendly service, coffee and cake were lovely but sat down at one table and it was covered in a layer of old, dried-in coffee foam. Moved to next table and it was the same - sticky and horrible like it hadn’t been wiped in months - needing a good scrub. Never seen such disgusting tables anywhere!

Situated in the Sterling Mills Outlet Village, this Costa coffee place is what it should be. It is clean and bright, and has good staff service. The pastries/cakes/muffins are nice and the drinks are tasty too. It gets my vote.

Good Bakery and Fresh morning goods delicious. The Morning Rolls are the best and love the Sausage Rolls to.

Waited 45 minutes for our food, two ingredients listed on the menu are missing on each of our breakfasts - we weren’t told that they will be missing items, we weren’t given extras to compensate for the missing items, one of my sausages was a different colour inside than the other one - assuming it was undercooked as it was more pink, and there was not enough cutlery to use either. One man cooking everyone’s food on a Sunday Morning is not okay. The staff would have known about the delays and could have told us at ordering that there is long waits, so we could have got something else to eat and not waste our time. And also inform us about the missing items and maybe compensate for those too

Visit regularly, only downfall is the bar side is quite narrow so on a busy weekend it's hard to move it gets so busy. Food is always amazing no matter what you order and portion sizes are huge. Prices for food and drink is more than reasonable as well.
