Corner House Cafe in Leeds

Came to this cafe twice with family and the food, ambience and service were great! Real gem of a place in Guiseley and highly recommended!

Had a breakfast here today. Top award to the staff very friendly and welcoming. My main reason for not giving highly recommended on review is, I paid just short of £15 for a coffee and big breakfast hence to have a breakfast with naff slurry sausage seems a poor show. The rest of breakfast was good quality. The general appearance of the cafe was very good and cleanliness looked very good.

Average breakfast and average customer service. Service was unusual and not very in tentative e.g. asking to order a coffee, walking off coming back minute later with an iPad to take the order but not explaining any of this. A number of other unusual bits too. Food was very much OK (considering the price too). £2 extra for halloumi but one small slice? Bacon was so over cooked it was hard and was not eaten. Cafe decor is lovely and milkshake was delicious but it’s unlikely I would return. Owners are clearly trying to do a good job but just need to step up qualities in order to our beat other cafes.

Absolutely amazing food. We have been twice and enjoyed both of our visits! They have a good amount of menu options and all day breakfast I believe. The portion sizes are large and I haven't left hungry! The staff are all very friendly and attentive. I had the tuna panini which was lovely and my partner had the brownie milkshake (which was so tasty) and a chicken panini which he enjoyed. Previously we have had the salt and chili chicken burger and the breakfast wrap which we also would recommend.

Really friendly service. We had the Mediterranean breakfast and a panini. Both were very nice. Great little gem for a light lunch.

The food has always been wonderful here! One of if not the best food in guiseley and good portions! I come here most Sundays with my partner and little brother, and I look fasted too it. The chicken quesadillas are to die for!!! And my brother loves the white chocolate and strawberry waffles. Service is so friendly too

We visited here for a late breakfast. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and a fabulous breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble. Can't fault it at all!

Fantastic cafe offering extensive menu with both traditional and Mediterranean breakfasts and good coffee. Excellent value and friendly and efficient staff. Also offer a number of options for veggie/vegan/gluten free diets. I had mushrooms, peppers and avocado on toast and my husband had poached eggs and avocado on toast - both breakfasts were delicious. Highly recommend this cafe.

I couldn't have chosen a better place to eat my lunch! My dish was not only fantastic but the hospitality even better! I felt very welcomed. I cannot thank the owner enough for her incredible kindness. I was visiting for the first time that day a friend who is residing at a care home there. Due to it being my first time there, I needed directions where she went out of her way to help me and even walking down the road with me to ensure I was taking the right path. Thank you so very much for your wonderful food, hospitality and kindness! Next time I am in Guiseley, I will be sure to visit you again!

Understaffed due to illness so a little slow but the waitress remained calm and professional and the food came quickly once ordered. Excellent value for money and good quality.

Went here for breakfast. Its best to book as it gets busy. I had the Big full breakfast for £10.95. It was amazing. Totally recommend. See the photo.

We can highly recommend the 'Corner House Cafe' in Guiseley, which has recently come under new ownership. The food was yummy and great value, the staff were friendly and our little our pug Bella was made very welcome 🐾🐾 We had the delicious bacon, brie & cranberry panini, which was served with a bowl of tasty chips - all for £7.95, which is great value these days. Bella had some bacon, a lick of my Mr Whippy ice cream, met everyone in the cafe and said it was her favourite dog-friendly cafe so far! Five stars and five woofs from Bella 😁

Popped in here for breakfast with friends. I had a delicious veggie breakfast and the kids all tucked into waffles and smoothies. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back guys.

Wouldn’t bother. Food got delivered cold then when complained got told I was lying and it wasn’t cold, well yes it was, I’m capable of telling the difference between hot and cold, very cocky customer service not friendly at all. They don’t accept responsibility when their food is crap. Food looked like it had been dropped on the floor and the ‘toast’ , well that was just wet bread. None of the food was even a bit warm. Can’t offer refund though can they, awful food & awful customer service, only nice person was the delivery driver everyone else are rude. £20 well wasted.

We go for breakfast here nearly every Sunday, we absolutely love it! Staff are always super friendly and amazing, always know us by name, food is always spot on, such a nice little café to enjoy would recommend to anyone!

Ordered at 10.30am (breakfast) delivery arrived at 12.30pm lunch time wow IF YOU HAVENT GOT TIME TO MAKE THE ORDER THEN DONT ACCEPT IT ON JUST EAT very poor food aswell wasn’t worth the wait

Found this place on the off chance. Had a meeting and some food here with a colleague. The food was really fresh and tasty, the staff are warm and friendly and it's great value for money.

Was here this morning with my son and grandson. Friendly staff, nice little place, lovely french music playing in the background. We had eggs Benedict and an omelette with spinach and mushrooms. The little un had waffles with chocolate. Absolutely deelish! Good value too for the price. Highly recommended for breakfast!

So great to have somewhere local for a great breakfast! Extremely friendly service, very efficient too. Portions are very generously sized! Not sure about chips at 10am but they came as a side with my omelette - didn't need them as the omelette was large!...

We have visited a few times for breakfast. Each time it is busy, testament to a good experience & the service & food is excellent. Can't fault it & wouldn't want too. Its an enjoyable visit & when you leave you want to go back....

Popped in around 1.30 to try desserts but had paninis and wraps. Really tasty and fresh. Halloumi fries were the best we’ve ever had. Lotus milkshake was tasty but refreshing too. Very friendly service, nicely decorated and good atmosphere.

Ordered on just eat, frappe not sealed, straw already in the drink, prices way too high for the quality of food, don't deliver a frappe to a far away address if its just going to look like that, especially when not sealed

Ordered a breakfast for delivery, took two hours to turn up, came flat cold, had two long black hairs in the food and they forgot the toast. Rubbish

We went for mid morning snack and had a bacon sandwich and a bacon, mushroom & egg sandwich. Both were delicious and accompanied with their tasty flat white coffee. Good service and clean tables.
