Brilliant food at very reasonable prices. The staff are excellent and very friendly. There is a great menu with a wide selection of food and also a carvery at lunchtime. We had the cooked breakfast, which was very nice. They also do Sunday dinners to either eat in or takeaway. I've tried them and they are excellent and great value. The Tasty Reel is in a cracking location near the reservoirs. Will definitely return and highly recommend!!! Edit: Have been back to the Tasty Reel a few times. We were in tonight and had the cod, chips, and mushy peas, and the special, which was honey battered chicken with stir-fried noodles and salt & chilli chips. It was all amazing and at such a reasonable price. Brilliant service and the stout was lovely.

Food well priced. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Chicken sandwich meal is my all time favourite!

Went here yesterday 4 of us after st.patricks day parade in Derry . There was only 8 people in the restaurant when we arrived but did get busier after waiter took our order, side orders came after 15 minutes but after that it's were it all went wrong ,it took 1 hour and 20 minutes for the main courses to come ,waiter kept coming to our table saying food will be soon . Service was awful and won't be back 😪
