Great place, excellent food and great chat.

Great little chipshop with great staff would highly recommend

Lacks ambience: they want you in and out .... cant remember the interior: didn't make an impression. They seem to be cooking chips fresh (not sure about other items on their menu). servers are professional, in uniform, and keen to take your order. Update 2024: piping hot chips, battered chips are delicious, generous portions... but their prices are way too high. Still wish this chippy was on my doorstep... if they were more competitive on price, this would be a 5 star chippy.

Friendly staff every time. Always served as quickly as possible. Food is always very hot and very tasty and given the option of normal or battered chips which every chippy should do.

By far, one of the best chippy's around. It was so busy, and we had a huge order, however the staff were brilliant and so careful that the order was correct. Can't say enough on how great this place is.

Was the Best Chippy in Walsall. Unfortunately, it has recently been refurbished and is now pricing its customers out. £5.10 for a large bag of chips, £2.30 for a cone! A real shame.

Decent food,but it's most expensive chippy round here by fat,you can get the same quality food for that little bit cheaper at other local chippy's. Doesn't really matter if there's a queue or not,if one of the owners mates walk in they get served before you even if you're at the front of the queue, absolute joke.

Spring roll wasn't nice at all and the battered sausage was nasty tasted like dog food I've never tasted it so bad used to be bloody lovely

Well let's say I'm less than impressed with the food scappy chips the sausage don't taste nice and the spring roll well it was doughy over cooked and sloppy and didn't smell that nice, the food has so changed since they reopened its never been this bad and some of the staff are rude, and the curry sauce was pure powder and lumpy

Before the shop was done up recently it was lovely food and staff friendly went yesterday good was either cold or over cooked staff not friendly won’t be going again

I had a piece of fish and a pot of mushy peas from this fish shop. I knew I wanted a fish and peas today. The piece of fish I had from this fish shop was nice. The peas I had was mushy peas. The mushy peas was nice since I had it from this fish shop. It was a nice lunch having fish and mushy peas here. I could recommend it if I could. Recommended from here.

Had a donner nann last night...without a doubt the best I have ever had...the meat was fresh, mildly spicy, salad, fresh and crisp...the star of the ginormous bonanza was the naan...as good as any naan in a restaurant I ate the lot...thoroughly recommended

Had food poisoning from here bought fish and chips last monday since then have had a really bad stomach pain and vomiting. when I looked at the fish I noticed it was "green" I have reported it to rivalmental health never coming here again

Wait a eternity, slow poor service. Rude to customers waiting. I left after waiting 10 mins. What i would say is get more staff . Prefrably people with customer skills. The prices are also extotionate. Cheaper better service and prompt attention available from shokers just a 1 minuite drive down Harden road

Worse tasteing chippy for me tbf put me off chippies for life chicken SFC was awful tasted horrible and the chips oh my goodness was vile had an awful taste like they were sat there for about week I literally had to spit it out never ever again dunno wha happened used to be lovely 2 years ago now 1st time in years I came to this chippy it's like not one of them can cook would give 0 stars but had to star it or couldn't share my review

Been going to the copper fish ever since I was a kid it's a great local chippy. Still see big Chris now and again helping out great staff that work there too. Shame that they don't do a Gluten Free menu as I have to travel further afield whenever my wife fancies fish and chips.

Food is diabolical. Batter on fish is sogy and the fish is not fresh. The peas are disgusting mostly hard peas. The portions are small and a bit over priced.

Normly I would rate this chip shop high. Its all clean and fresh and staff are always very welcoming but for some reason the donner meat just didn't test like its normal standed. I check it with my partner and daughter and both agreed. The chicken and the chips was bang on but the donner killed it for me

Just purchased the most disgusting looking southern fried chicken ever absolutely gross inside never using them again, it went in the bin

totally bad experience i ordered two specials and one other item i supposed to have curry sauce on mine it was no more than a drip the chips wore absolutely foul they was under cooked and tasteless pie rock hard and had to argue with female staff over a carrier bag total outt of order dontbother with it

Disgraceful prices! I was about to order from here until it came to £40+ I have just ordered the exact same thing from another chip shop and it was actually £25 cheaper.

If I'm being completely honest, the food is normally great but if you have any chicken kebab expect small tiny pieces. Doner meat is nice though. The shop always seems like it's in chaos as the staff seem to be running around when they dont need too. Plus you do have to wait while lots of drivers are in and out delivering. I just hope they all have buisness insurance to deliver food which I'm sure at some point they will be checked as they all seem foreign. I'm sure the shop will be checking on this. Hope they ain't like Macdonald's and hiring anyone without the proper car insurance

Went in for lunch all I can say is wow 👏 fantastic food fresh and vibrant 😋 staff speaking very polite with customers creating a grate atmosphere we will return without a doubt

Love the food from the shop but now do on line orders its like the people that go the shop don't matter I have worked in food shop and yes keep everyone happy but don't just leave people standing in the shop for how long why you just sort delivery's out
