Great village pub run by a great land lady Always someone to have chat with or a pint on the way home

Friendly staff but the real ale beer was off on this particular day but I was given a replacement option.

Brilliant bike night ( Thursday) nice venue, bar staff great, gets very busy bike night, even hard to find parking for a motorbike 😳, didn't have any food so cannot comment, but usual type burgers ect.

Loved a decent lunch here. Will return!

Bikers night, first time for me, seemed fairly good!

Took mum and dad for Sunday dinner today for her birthday the staff was friendly and the food was lush nice clean pub will visit again most definitely well done demmi and Tom your doing a grate job keep up the good work would recommend to anyone thanks ash x

We called in here on the way up somewhere else, not knowing what to expect! The food was superb for the price , and the service was great. The barstaff were very friendly and welcoming.

Bike night is absolutely amazing whether you're a biker, family have bikes or just into bikes in general. So nice to see the different varieties, there's also a food van for chips, burgers etc which are also lovely.

The steak was great. The pints were an acceptable price, and it was a very clean place to eat and drink. I would highly recommend to anybody who wishes to have a nice dinner and a refreshing drink

Great staff, great food , great value

Ate here for an occasion this weekend. 2 choose steaks from the grill menu and the quality was exceptional and presented really nicely. The pizza ordered also looked very nice. Service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be recommending. (Just to add Ales kept well too and good range)

The bike night at the copper beach is hard to rival, I’ve been a couple of times now and each time its filled with a fantastic array of bikes and friendly people. The atmosphere is amazing even if you don’t ride I highly recommend the night when the meet is on. They have a nice burger bar on site and a great bar with fantastic staff.

Going to cause controversy here and suggest that this could be the best bike night in Nottinghamshire. The pub is beautiful with a really good sized beer garden at the front. I would happily bring the family here for food and drinks. What makes it really stand out though is their Thursday night bike night. You'll normally see roughly 200 bikes of all different makes and models. The landlady can normally be found at the front of the pub diverting bikes into proper parking spots. The first night we came here parking was a bit manic with loads parked on nearby streets, this has calmed down a lot now and nearly everyone is now parked in the pub car park. There are signs up encouraging patrons to be courteous when leaving the car park, please keep this in mind or the event will end up being heavily policed or shut down.

Lovely Sunday roast and was accommodating to my dietary needs. Beautiful pub with friendly staff.

Had a great pie here, was home cooked and huge! It was a little quiet due to the time of day but friendly and polite staff. I would definitely go back if in the area.

Been to our first biker night tonight & loved it. It’s like being surrounded by one big family. All staff friendly, food is spot on and amazing atmosphere. My car got blocked in by bikes but we were happy stood looking at them all whilst waiting for some to move! I was guided out by I think the landlord, so helpful. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend this fab pub. Thank you.

We dined here today as we are staying at a local campsite and after an afternoon of MTB trails at Sherwood Pines, I didn't fancy cooking. Us grown ups had the pork roast dinner and lasagne whilst the kiddos had the cheeseburger and fish dippers. Malteser cheesecake for pud (ice cream for the kids) and it was clear plates and bowls all round! It was a lovely sunny evening so we sat in the huge garden. A lovely pub, good, friendly and timely service, delicious food and clean facilities. A special mention to the landlady (?) who was providing great service with a new baby strapped to her front! Absolutely amazing working mummy, working her socks off for her customers. We would very much like to return, thanks for having us 😊

Had a birthday lunch for 10 people. Although a few things on the menu was unavailable, what we all ordered was absolutely delicious. The portions were big and very well cooked. A lovely experience and would definitely recommend the Copper beech. The staff were nice and friendly.

Stumbled across this little gem whilst in the area viewing a house and so pleased we did! Perfect place for the husband's birthday meal afterwards! Food absolutely gorgeous, staff so pleasant and friendly! Clean and really nice atmosphere, great value, The onion baskets are AMAZING if I hadn't of been so full I would have literally drank the stilton sauce out the gravy boat! Would 100% return!!

Very very good portions, crispy chips and lovely people at the counter, especially the lady. 10/10 I was surprised how nice the hot dog was as I was expecting it to be a typical jar canned sausage! Love the quality will be coming back

I don’t usually write reviews but having just been here and enjoyed their ‘ultimate sharing platter’ this place definitely deserves 5 stars!! The food was absolutely amazing. My partner and I LOVED it, affordable, dog friendly and gorgeously decorated. Couldn’t recommend more! Thank you.

Fun little bike night, Drink are lovely food is gorgeous also, Lack of shaded / outdoor seating is a big negative though, I feel some deckchairs thrown around especially on the bike nights that are so busy would do wonders.

Bad experience waiting hour half for food service was slow too.

Sunday lunch for group of us. A few loved it, the rest said ok. Portion size was big but the quality didn't quite live up to what we were expecting. Not bad mind but nothing special..sadly

Food was great. Staff good. Place clean n welcoming. There were 2 of us for lunch not many customers had quite a long wait for food to arrive. Maybe they do deliveries I don't know. Very good sized portions. Would definitely go again

Have had several meals here but yesterday's Sunday lunch was the worse. Was with a group of friends and was looking forward to my meal. When it arrived I was disappointed, the mash potato which I can only assume was made from powered mash had not been mixed properly with sufficient water leaving a lot of it dry with lumps of dry powder. If I visit again it will certainly not be for the Sunday roast.

Went over for thier bike night wasn't disappointed. BBQ serving lovely burgers 🍔 coffee kiosk with cakes and a wide verity of coffees I chose the iced vanilla latte 😋 good turn out of bikers. Actual pub is well fitted out with a modern interior which compliments the old building.

Popped in on a Thursday afternoon - three adults, two small children and a dog - and had a lovely experience. Hadn't realised in advance that it was "bike night," with the place getting steadily more busy with a very friendly crowd. Such a nice atmosphere. We were very pleased with the quality, value and portion sizes of the food we ordered. Children very happy with their choices too. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend, will return. Went yesterday for Mothers day, got there and was told no roast dinners left. We ordered food from main menu all 3 meals were over cooked and dry. And it took and hour between starters and mains. My son in law spent over £70 on food and was given £20 of the bill for food we couldn't eat disgusting
