Coori in Richmond upon Thames

Ordered a take away. Had a lovely aubergine dish. The aubergine just melted in my mouth, it was soft and tender. Amazing flavour. It was with rich in a tomato sauce with a few vegetables. Totally delicious, could have eaten it at least 3 times over. Would have loved more aubergine, as it was just one piece, all be it a thick piece. I got a small discount as I am a local resident who lives in the area. Would have benefited a larger portion for the price, but it was delicious.

Absolutely superb on every metric. Completely gluten free if that is important but does no compromise taste for that. Run by a lovely Italian lady, Julia, with passion using her years of experience to deliver delicious food that is predominantly Italian but with global twists from the very talented chef. Memorable meal that will mean I'll be back again and again. Do book as only 30 or so covers and it deserves to be packed every open hour.

I have been here a couple of times now and on both occasions had a super meal. The pizza is outstanding - can recommend the charcoal pizza. Very generous toppings and unusual combinations without being weird. Lots of vegetarian options. Very friendly waiting team. You’d have no idea that it’s gluten free. Perfect pizza base. Highly recommended!

Walking around the charming neighborhood of Kew, after visiting the famous Gardens, we were attracted to this particular restaurant by the lovely atmosphere that shine through the window. With its bistrot-style, with great attention to detail, it invites you to sit down and take a moment for yourself. The menu is varied and suitable for every need, with veggie or dairy-free offerings.We were really surprised when we knew it was a "free from" kitchen! As Italian, we didn't notice any difference! Pizza was perfect and pasta was sublime! An excellent service filled with human warmth has made our experience in this restaurant an unforgettable memory of our holiday.Compliments to the chef and all staff. We'll come back to try their sunday-roast!

La Campania ,dove vivo, e’ la regione d’Italia piu’ rinomata per la pizza. Coori con la sua pizza al carbone naturale con speck,funghi e olio al tartufo mi ha lasciata stupefatta. Mai mangiata una pizza cosi’ buona e cosi leggera. Complimenti a tutti ed in particolare a Giulia ospite eccezionale.

My sister is coeliac and quite frankly the service was outstanding - the atmosphere amazing and the food sublime!

I popped in on a Sunday evening with my girlfriend. We are both veggie/vegans who prefer gluten free... so this was spot on... there was plenty of choice amongst all the meaty dishes to keep us totally satisfied! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was efficient, discreet and unobtrusive. We shared a few dishes.. the calamari (perfectly crunchy) with some interesting accompaniments, the gorgonzola ravioli and a Venezia pizza. For pudding we tried the vegan tiramisu and the hazelnut torte (to die for). It was all really delicious... great value for money... and perfect for a Sunday night out. Can highly recommend and will be back again.

A first time visit for a party of 5. What a find, great food and friendly service. A warm atmosphere in which to enjoy all the different, mainly fish dishes we ordered. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed. They also cater for anyone who has any food allergies extremely well.

What a find! Fantastic restaurant. Friendly staff. Great tasting food. Relaxed atmosphere. Perfect combination for a relaxing lunch with friends.So impressed that it's gf - you wouldn't know! We were offered complimentary garlic bread as this was our first visit - just right and not filling.Great selection of starters - we were spoilt, especially with the wide choice on the specials board. Our cod bits were tastefully served on a slate platter - felt like fine dining! I had the risotto (mushroom, beetroot and truffle oil) as a main. As a coeliac, to be offered a wide choice of desserts (not just the usual...ice cream)....I was in heaven. I plumped for the tiramisu - I wasn't disappointed. One friend had opted for the fajitas - generous helping...great taste!This was a great find for lunch before we went for a wander around Kew Gardens. Would thoroughly recommend.

Loved last night food and friendly service. The selection is a great mix for all references. I had a seafood chef platter which was delicious and my husband lamb stew. I don't eat gluten so finding such a local gem is fantastic. They had a wide menu including Asian Italian and European dishes so good for everyone and still warm hearty options for husband's preference. Very simple friendly setting for a spontenuous night or lunch. Definitely coming back for more. Oh and the gluten-free draft beer is delicious too

My first visit with friends who are big fans especially as gluten free. They cater for all tastes and I’ve not tried their pizzas as yet but I’m told delicious- by a non pizza fan!!! We tried their new traditional Sunday roast. Very good, great lamb and interesting selection of seasonal veg ......

Excellent Italian, Mediterranean restaurant we came with a couple of friends and it was perfect. The staff is really friendly and Julia the owner is always there greeting you. I am coeliac but at this point is irrelevant as I feel like eating normal food (with gluten) plus everything is basically made in the moment. Totally recommend it. The menu always with new additions and the desserts are delightful. This is the third time we visit. I wish there were more places like this. Bravissimo!

Coori's only been open about a month and I've already eaten there twice and got takeaway pizza once! I'm coeliac and can confirm that the whole menu including beers etc is totally gluten free; I believe one of the founders has coeliac disease and the whole place is gluten free by design. I've always felt great after eating their food.

Tonight was our first visit to Coori and it won’t be our last! Loved it. Simple but delicious food presented beautifully, lovely relaxed vibe. Jasmine, our attentive waitress, was a delight. Highly recommend it! What a treat to have this at the end of our road

My husband and I took a guest to Coori for dinner on August 15th because our guest is a coeliac and must avoid gluten. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu offered wide choices and everything was fresh and very good. The service was friendly and the portions were generous - no complaints at all. And above all, our guest could eat anything on the menu which for him is a rare experience. We will be back, even though we have no allergies ourselves, and our guest will certainly want to return next time he is with us.

What a lovely place ,especially as I’m gluten and dairy free .Had risotto ,but lovely waitress got chef to do prawn and asparagus risotto even though not on menu .Lovely fresh cooked food .Will be back soon .

Had fantastic time last week with three of us. Amazing food and atmosphere. Charcoal based pizza with parma ham was wonderful, has superb berry brownies. Tasted my friend's gnocci and fig cake, they were fabulous! Definitely be back!

Coori means “Heart” ❤️ in Sicilian. And this place is full of heart ... both food and service are testament to this. Friends took us to this newish restaurant and it was a delightful and delectable experience. Food was REAL food and yummy. Service was friendly and efficient. The Chef / Owner came and had a word with us. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. We had a magnificent dessert board ( recommended by waitress Jasmine ) and tasted a bit of everything. It was the sweet end of a fantastic evening. I need to go back to taste the pizzas !

So happy I’ve found this little gem of a restaurant that serves delicious gluten free food!! Giulia is the owner of the restaurant...she’s been experimenting in her kitchen for years in search of gluten free recipes that are tasty and healthy ...everything’s yummy...I had the beetroot fritters with lemon yoghurt and the tuna with caponata followed by a cake that on the menu is named Caprese although is called “ the orgasmic cake” by people in the know ..( I personally call this cake “ Catch me if you can” since it’s quite popular).The food certainly reflects Giulia’s passion about cooking. The place is really cosy and relaxed and well managed by Jasmine.The restaurant is within walking distance of Kew Gardens and Kew tube station and I definitely recommend it if you are in the area .

Great dinner with friends at Coori last Saturday. It's more than your average Italian. A welcoming atmosphere and food to die for, which is super healthy ...and gluten-free!

My best friend took me out for my jubilee, indeed a special celebration. Jasmine, the manager of Coori greated us and offered us the table outside, that in a warm evening like yesterday was perfect. We ordered an Italian wine, Traminer, Tuna Carpaccio and Camari as starters, Grilled Tuna and Black Charcoal Gnocchi as main dishes. The wine was excellent as well as the calamari, where the tuna carpaccio that I only sample was beyond any imagination. The tuna was top sashimi grade and extremely fresh. The flavour was simply divine. When my grilled tuna in almond e pistachio crust arrived I was excited because I knew it was going to be an experience. Well, I can only describe the flavour as perfect, I hope it make sense. We ended with vegan cheesecake and Tiramisu, followed by espresso and Barolo Grappa. I experienced this kind of food and service quality only in few top fine dining restaurants around the world. The emphaty of Jasmine is extraordinary and the customer experience we had can be graded as 5 star plus.

My wife and I visited Coori yesterday evening for dinner; we shared the bruschetta to start, wholesome, tasty, main courses - didn't try the pizza, but will next time - and finished off with cheesecake. While we're neither vegan nor gluten free, these aspects of much of the food offered here are without doubt positive contributors when it comes to the quality of fare at this beautifully presented, welcoming, restaurant. In what became a warm and convivial atmosphere as the tables around us were filled, Jasmine led the food service with just the right level of attention and a positive, friendly manner. There is a delightful twist to much of the food, which we liked very much, but also some old favourites on the menu for the more cautious.

Visita obligada, sin duda. Comida sin gluten, comida vegana, extraordinarias pizzas negras, sabrosas y en un punto perfecto de cocción. Giulia, magnífica cocinera; Jasmine (Yasmin..), estupenda entre las mesas. No lo duden, coman felices en este restaurante.

I was excited to try a new restaurant in Kew and Coori looked lovely. It is a "free from" restaurant with gluten-free options that I assumed meant would be great for a fresh, healthy meal. That wasn't our experience, though. We ordered the grilled salmon, the crispy chicken and a filet steak and unfortunately none of them were particularly good. The salmon came swimming in oil -- to the point we couldn't eat the vegetables that came with it. Also, it was supposed to be served on a bed of black rice which they simply forgot. The steak was overcooked and and bland and the chicken dish turned out to be fried chicken goujons and chips. Add two glasses of at best mediocre wine and the £69 price tag made the experience seriously disappointing. Sadly, not a restaurant we will return to.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond. All the menu is Gluten Free although you wouldn’t know it as the food is delicious and authentic Italian. Think healthy breakfasts with home made Italian bread, healthy smoothies, salads and one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. The staff are friendly and the restaurants has a relaxed vibe. BYOB is an added bonus!

By far the best gluten free food in London. Amazing options for gluten free, vegetarian, and even vegan. No sacrifice in flavour, and even my gluten free hating other half enjoys it.

We all had pizza which was gluten free not that you’d know it by the delicious taste. Vegan or Mozzarella cheese choice too. Friendly staff, Pietro our waiter was very smiley and helpful and even gave us complimentary cake spontaneously, dairy free too, after our meal. Would definitely return.

This place is an absolute gift. My wife and I dine here at least once a week and it never disappoints. I’m not free-from, I just love good food. The owner and staff are always friendly and provide a happy atmosphere. I can’t recommend Coori enough.

The pizza is lovely and the coffee is great. Nice place for families and friends. The staff are helpful.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch after walking by and noticing they were completely gluten free which catered to the needs of one of our party. Gluten free definitely doesn’t mean taste free here! We enjoyed a lovely coffee followed by a great pizza and delicious arancini ball! The fresh pesto was great to accompany it.

The gluten free cafe was just delightful! The pizzas which the whole family had were amazing and the owner is very nice if you are in south London or richmond I would definitely recommend a visit

Loveliest gluten and dairy free cakes I’ve tried. Coffee good and staff were very friendly when my daughter smashed a glass!

I've been to Coori yesterday afternoon with my girlfriend and a couple of friends. We tried some delicious brownies that were both dairy-free and gluten-free, and had dairy-free gelato. Then I took a look at the menu and it piqued my curiosity because everything was totally gluten-free. So I made enquiries at the staff about that and found out that it was the result of a very specific choice to give priority to gluten-intolerant consumers protection, which is great because finally I know where I can invite them. The place and the food are amazing, near the Richmond park.

Go there every Thursday for their pizza night and every weekend for their amazing coffee and cakes. The personnel is friendly and so competent. We all love it!

We found this little place after walking around Richmond with no restaurant reservation on a Saturday evening. The place is cosy and clean, the owner is really friendly. We tried arancini, pesto gnocchi, charcoal pizza, and a dessert (chocolate, oranges and figs cake free from practically everything!). We will go back and glad to know it also delivers via Deliveroo!

Specifico che non sono celiaco, ma come chef e ristoratore sono sempre in esplorazione. Ho avuto modo di provare varie specialità La parmigiana di melanzane, la pizza, ed alcuni antipasti davvero molto buoni. Cucinati e presentati perfettamente da non far capire che si tratta di pietanze senza glutine. Bravissimi! Lo consiglio certamente

I went to Ccori last Saturday as my daughter was taking an exam nearby so we decided to pop in to try it. The manager Giulia is awesome and makes you feel at home. We had the best cappuccino and figs and orange cake. The cake was gluten free but you wouldn’t know if they hadn’t told you. The place open on Friday and Saturday until late for pizza and you can bring your own wine which it makes for a very reasonably priced dinner for an extremely good quality and priceless service. The charcoal pizza is to die for and doesn’t seem GF at all. Very light and easy to digest. We will be back soon!

Coori è un piccolo bistrot, scoperto quasi per caso passeggiando a Richmond. Da sempre attento all’alimentazione, cerco di limitare al massimo l’utilizzo del glutine, beh quale miglior posto di questo? Coori offre una cucina senza glutine ma anche senza compromessi, le ricette sono deliziose, ricche, ed appaganti. Sfido a mangiare un dolce e a non rimanerne estasiati. Consigliato a priori, è veramente buono..

If you are gluten intolerant (or even not) you must absolutely try Coori cuisine! The choice is very ample, there are also vegan meals (always gluten free) gnocchi and pizza in two version, black with vegetable charcoal or white are delicious! Remember to finish the meal with a wonderful dessert!
