Have been cheering myself up with cakes from here from lockdown onwards. Often treat us to nice quiches as lunch treat but it is the cakes that are the real draw. Great chocolate brownies, dense, rich (would recommend pecan and raspberry). Also very good green cake (don't know what real name is) and excellent red velvet cake. Had very tasty Polish cheescake from here. It really does taste like ice-cream without all the frozen stuff...friendly, nice staff

My mum & I visited yesterday on a friends recommendation and we are very happy we did! We received a friendly welcome when we passed by in the morning and arranged to come back at lunchtime. This is a small establishment with a couple of tables inside and two outside. It was a lovely day in Montrose so we could enjoy the outside seating. There was a good selection of savoury tarts on offer and it was difficult to choose. I had a slice of tomato and feta along with a coffee and thoroughly enjoyed them both. The pastry was lovely and crisp and the tomatoes and feta had a nice summery fresh taste. The Pina Coloda cake went down very well with my mum and she enjoyed a tea with it. I could not resist in taking something away for the next day and came away with a blondie which had almond and raspberry and a lemon & blueberry muffin. Having had them today I can confirm they were also very tasty! You could tell from the appearance and the taste that quality ingredients are being used. An excellent place to pop past for some take away goodies. It was lovely to speak to Marta & Rafal (mother and son) that are running this cafe and we look forward to visiting next time we are in Montrose

We arrived back from a tiring day out,and we were hungry.A quick glance down the High street, and we came upon this oasos. After ordering two fish and chip light bites,we say in and enjoyed. One thing for sure, don't order the full meal, because it is too much.We feasted on the light bites.

Reading all the review I was really looking forward to our visit here. The staff were friendly and the place clean and tidy. I wanted a hot quiche but was told there would be a 20 minute wait so we both had cock-a-leekie soup . There was chicken and bit of leek but this was a very thin plate of soup with no real substance the ratio of stock to the other ingredients was poor. I was also upset by the fact that they allow dogs in the cafe. There was one sitting with it's owner in the corner and it whined all the time we were there . The owner did not seem to be bothered by this .
