Cool Breeze in Lewisham

Ordered curry goat got beef. Rice and peas, peas mash up in rice with burnt (bunbun) from the bottom of the rice pot. £9.00 not worth the money.

Brilliant service, portions and price. Had a lunch time meal deal which was a generous portion for the price. Also ordered a box of mini patties for Christmas, excellent deal as they taste great again at a good price. My favorite carribean takeaway by far!

Really like the patties from here and the soups. But meals are disappointing. Had ackee and saltfish and was really bad. No flavour, no spice, no peppers in it or anything. Worst ackee and saltfish I’ve had. I can make it better myself and I’m British! Lol

Jerk chicken was done in the oven not jerk pan tasted dry not authentic jerk chicken at all Plantin also was dry not riped for frying. Cool breeze very very disappointed I got pepper steak few weeks ago and the steak was reall dry and chunky it was pepper steak at all

Lovely food and good portions. Ordered by phone and it arrived at the time agreed. Good selection to suit meat, fish eaters and veggies. Scrumptious!

really good food, well priced and tasty. Little bit of a wait but it was worth it and they are always friendly. So many veggie options too, and have never had a better pattie than at cool breeze

Went here for the first time the other month, and the food was delicious! As a Jamaican myself, I can say the food was 10/10. Well flavoured, spicy, plentiful, just schweeeeet basically. The plantain was well cooked, and the oxtail was melt in the mouth and the Pattie was great. Only thing I would say is the waiting could be reduced but I guess good comes to those who wait. Will be coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Waited nearly an hour for my food to be given to me. The woman who was serving was not even listening to what was being ordered! The woman I got served by told me that she was sorry about an order she forgotten and made me drive back to find out she did not place the order! She was not listening to what was being ordered! Prices are always changing day by day. There’s never a set price at all! I will not be coming back and I advice people not to go!

Cool Breeze did an excellent job supplying food for my husbands 60th Birthday Party.. The food was delicious and plentiful and I thoroughly recommend this restaurant! Thank you Cool Breeze food was one of the highlights of our party!

Have visited today for a takeaway. Waited nearly an hour for my food to be served.absolutely disgraceful service from all counter staff.they have just lost a customer.

The food is excellent, plenty of vegetarian options aswell, which is rare for a Carribean takeaway, I've had the Ital Soup, Ital Stew, Veg Curry which are all amazing. The patties are all made on site, and are the best I've had. Would recommend to anyone.

Whether you originate from London or not, you need to try other countries dishes. you can sit in to eat. Not overly priced My only gripe is service is slowwwwwwww... I don't know why they just seem to serve one person at a time..best thing to do is phone in your order. so when you join that long queue you then collect. Nuff Said

We ordered a large number of individual meals for my son’s birthday celebration last Sunday. Andrea took our order the day before and made sure the food was ready and packaged on the day. She was very professional in her approach and ensured all of the meals were there and checked in front of us. As for the food, it was fresh, cooked well and full of flavour! Like being in the Carribean! Great value and enjoyed by all. Thank you Andrea and all the staff at Cool Breeze👏🏽Highly recommended 👍🏽

Seriously, I've try so many places with Caribbean food, Cool Breeze is my favourite. Their Peppered steak is extremely tasty, in contrast to other places it's never dry. For take away you will receive huuuge portion of rice with steamed veggies and steak with souse in a separate box. Oh and they're making the best fried plantains in London! Highly Recommended!

Go to this venue regularly. Its popular, food is good, portions good and the staff are polite and pleasant.

Had this for a take away - really good value for money! I ordered a jerk chicken portion, some rice and two patties. The portions were generous, I'd definitely go back.

Mientras se aloja en el Hotel Apartamento cerca de Lyall tuvimos una comida para llevar en la fresca brisa dos veces y nos gustó mucho. Pollo adobado y arroz y guisantes eran muy, muy buenos, pero la salchicha la sirven allí, pescado, vegetales y pollo - son realmente geniales. Yo recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que le guste la cocina caribeña.

He estado aquí muchas veces, más recientemente hoy para una comida para llevar (aunque tienen un par de mesas disponibles para sentarse para una comida, si queríamos). Nunca me ha decepcionado. Todo acerca de este lugar es bueno, el menú es variado, la comida es deliciosa más allá de toda descripción, las porciones son grandes, los precios son bajos, la gente es amable y eficiente. No puedo expresar lo suficiente lo bueno que la comida está aquí. En especial me encantan la cabra con curry pero también disfrutamos imbécil ante los pollos y pollo al curry. Todo está perfectamente especiado y tan llenos de sabor. Viajamos varias millas para venir aquí ...
