Delivery time fine, chips are really small amounts for what they cost, and one of the kids meals had cooked chicken bones in within the chips. don’t think we will be ordering again

Omg just thaught we would have a fish lunch from here as a treat it was awful as thin as a kipper and no taste even the batter was tasteless we was really shocked as years ago we really rated this place

Desserts was just enough for a sweet tooth. plus it's the only place I know that does coffee puffs

Ordered Large Chips but portion was small. Other than that food was lovely.

Gorgeous food, the online ordering system can be tricky but worth the hassle. It's the best traditional fish and chip shop around, with a twist .... you can get sweet treats too. Custard slices, cherry bakewell and even mason jar deserts.

delicious fish, lovely size portion and although there didn't seem to be loads if chips it was actually just the right size portion to go with the large fish. The battery was nice and crisp. I am looking forward to the coffee puff but it will have to wait until the dogs have had their share of the sausage I ordered for them. Quick delivery was appreciated too as well as the phone call to offer me a different cake as my first choice was out of stock.

Quite a regular with this chip shop, however I will not ever eat / order from here again. Fruity curry like water. Bag of chips- there must have been around 10 ot these. Poor quality, very disappointed

Always have lovely food from contis, weather it's chips n something, or a breakfast, fish, its always nicely cooked and when i have a delivery its always still hot n lovely to eat. And all the staff are friendly and one of the best fish shops around 👌

I live in New Zealand. Placed an online order for my mother who is the local hospital. Ordered directly through their website. Which states: Order directly from our website and cut out the middle man fees! Food didn't arrive and when my father called to enquire was told that he needs to call the delivery company. Absolute joke. Still accepted payment though

shocking portions sizes for something that cost 25 pound "large chips" couldn't even feed one person 🙄 absolutely shocking.

item was left on door- door was not knocked. didn't see until 30 mins later as I needed to go to my car. this resulted in food being cold. chips were burnt and crispy and bread rolls were too small for the price charged. totally disappointed with this order, not acceptable

I was desperate for fish and chips as where we live in Spain, if I want them I have to make them myself. The young lady who served me was lovely, the food was cooked when I ordered it and they were large portions. The quality was excellent. They were not expensive. Really good value.

The owner is a rude man who thinks hes right about everything i ordered a breakfast roll through just eat for it to come with a uncooked egg! The owners reply was its just eats drivers fault! This shop will never have my custom again!! I know some of the staff they all slag the owner off its a joke

Contis shop were fantastic, the just eat driver was rude and aggressive but it shop staff were great as usual and I don’t doubt the food was spot on as always is there

Sausage in batter was so hard could not eat and was told it crispy batter if so what was the sasage then change it for a different one well i think the frist one was better i felt like they was from night

The steak pie is normally delicious and I have had many times. Today it looked liked it has been microwaved to death. Literally no filling at all just dry pastry, I couldnt even say the filling was dried up as there was not one piece of steak in my piece just brown dried up pastry. Extremely disappointed. ,

I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt a few times now but no more. The food has become awful recently. The batter I had today almost broke my teeth it was so hard and dry. No more orders from me in the future. Massive shame as it was so good before. The sausages are just full of grizzle. RIP

it arrived quickly, BUT they obviously didn't read attached note as no s&v, chips were luke warm and dry, the fish was overcooked and contained bones, it was disgusting and most went in the bin.

delivery was fantastic and on time. fish quality was OK (several bones) but the chips were very dry and hard.

Always delicious, Conti’s is my family and I favourite and it never disappoints. Their homemade food especially their cakes are a big hit. You can’t go wrong with this take-away.

Food ordered around 2015 on a Wednesday night after getting home from work initially had delivery time of 2050, arrived at 2125 and was cold and needed to be reheated in the microwave. possibly a delay due to waiting for a driver but even so disappointing. won't use again.

Rissole was delicious chips were good sausage in batter nice but the gravy was far too spicy. Delivery was fine and you can keep track of it.

First time ordering from Conti's (relatively new to the area, working our way through the different takeaways). Ordered rissole & chips x 2, and a pot of curry sauce. Had high expectations as quite a few people have mentioned that the food is really good. They've exceeded my expectations. Absolutely perfectly cooked chips in a great portion size and the rissoles, which so many places manage to mess up, were fantastic. Not had a rissole that good in about 25 years. Perfect saturday lunch time comfort food on a cold day. Not a crumb left on our plates. Reasonable price. On time delivery with a friendly delivery driver. 100% would order again.

I ordered my food at 17:15pm and there was no currier available until 18:15pm then food didn’t get delivered until 18:45pm and was cold. Not the curriers fault as he is obviously over run with orders but an hour and a half wait for a chip shop is appalling. My order should never have been accepted if there was that much of an issue.

Just had chips from here which looked and tasted about 3 days old, worse meal iv ever payed for

driver dumped the food on the door step of a disabled man who couldn't get out there to get it and also didn't leave some of the food, they left the bag of stuff but didn't leave the fish and chips box, I am disgusted by the service to be honest and don't just want the money for the fish and chips I want a refund of it all as it was too cold to eat so had to be rewarded which now doesn't taste the same.

I ordered this order at 1.35pm and it arrived at 2.46pm it was freezing cold I spoke to contis fish bar and they said it was made up at time of order and there were no drivers available this is absolutely disgusting my food was sat waiting for almost 1hr and half I will not use just eat again and will be telling everyone I know about this service

Fish and chips were awful batter hard chips hard. Icooked fish n chips for 25 years and would never have served that standard. Batter was flat on the fish which usually happens when you put fish in to cook and the fat is not got enough. Sausage discusting like cheap luncheon meat.was looking forward to the strawberry cream cake but the centre was full of ice also the cream is synthetic.
