Comptoir Libanais Leeds in Leeds

Turned up on Valentine’s Day and it had shut down, no warning when we booked very disappointing. Must’ve shut down recently, wish the website would’ve said, my mrs is very disappointing

I made an online booking as part of my grandaughter's 16th birthday celebrations (and informed them of that). Travelled by train to the restaurant only to find it is now a building site. It had closed a week before and although never informing me, I hadbeen sent a premotional email only a few days previously. Then it has the nerve to ask me to review my experience!!

This is a nice restaurant with a varied menu. There are lots of vegetarian options. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our meal.

Lovely food brilliant service and lots of fun. My daughter and I recommend the lamb kofta wrap. Thank you Barry and Mae for great service with a smile.

This was my first visit here, but definitely not the last. Our server, Barry, was very accommodating considering he was manning the restaurant floor alone. The food, which I believe was prepared by Cherif, was delicious! the portions were generous and tasted very fresh. At the end, Barry generously gifted the table with some birthday baklava which was an excellent treat :)

Very good quality flavoursome food in a lovely atmosphere with an efficient friendly team. Although not many people in, it was Monday night, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal with family.

Seated at a table i didn’t want to sit next to despite requesting to sit elsewhere. The cutlery had a piece of blue tissue stuck to a spoon. The male staff member reluctantly agreed to swap thé cuiter y as it was only a piece of blue tissue they used to clean the cutlery with. He then swapped the cutlery pot over. When food arrived I reached into get a knife, and just about to tuck in when I noticed a smear of red on the knife from previous use. So had to change that. Then this mid Eastern chap turned up spraying perfume in large quantities as you ate. Who had to be sat next to me, Who who refused to understand to stop spraying perfume , blue perfume out the bag because people might find it offensive, backed up by a mid eastern female who basically said he was ignoring because he could. He also showed a video of perfumes at the airport and announced he was a boxer. Great piece of veiled perfume racism. This is a repeat occurence. Awful genuinely. The day after I’ve been left with a sore throat. When I went to pay irony had it that no staff could be found anywhere to make a complaint too. .

The staff is great, very kind and welcoming. The location is full of vivid colours, and the food is excellent, aboundant and satiating.

First visit here. Was my birthday treat from my fiancé. Absolutely fantastic service from Barry and the others…….we felt at home from the minute we stepped through the door. The food was incredible….so full of flavours!….looked amazing on the plate…….we are veggie/vegan and we were so chuffed at the range of food available to us. Highly recommend this place xx

Very good selection of Lebanese cuisine, the service was friendly the atmosphere and decor was very Arabic in nature, food was tasty and very good. My only gripe is the lack of Arabic tea and coffee options.

I've always liked the food in Comptoir Libanais -- the meze starters are great, and for the mains, today I was surprised they serve the grilled fish they way I would, namely with tahini sauce on the top! Next time we'll also try the baklava :) Great service by Katerina, thanks :)

Came for weekday lunch, was not busy. The two of use shared about 6 small dishes, tapas style, with the garlic zaatar bread. Everything was extremely delicious. Also the cocktails were delicious. Our server Mae got everything right and was very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back.
