Mogador in Leeds

Delicious food. The sharing platter was excellent and we really didn't need anything else apart from that. Good vegan menu. The vegetable couscous was very reminiscent of the vegetable tagines I had in Morocco.

This used to be one of our favourite places to eat with plenty of choice for all. The food tonight however was just awful. The Quorn chicken and pea tagine was horrible, a few pieces of frozen Quorn and copious amounts of tinned carrots and petit pois with hard artichoke (?) in a thin gravy that definitely had not been cooked in a tagine. Husband's kebab was not much better. Don't know if this has changed hands or is just catering for the takeaway market but charging a tenner for frozen and tinned crap is just not on. Clearly going for quick and cheap to make rather than good quality. Very very poor.

We were already fans of Mogador's food, but they've revamped the menu and holy wow, it's incredible now. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, super fresh, and delicious. The fattoush is much improved, with a zingy dressing and fresh pomegranate seeds. The meatballs were deep and richly spiced - we needed every scrap of bread (which is also better) to mop up that sauce! Just brilliant.

We found sausage was not fresh. Over all ok

I'm visiting from Scotland just now, and we've nothing like this where I live. My friends told me about Mogador and I was a little worried about the parsley in everything, as I tend not to like it. However, all flavours are really well balanced and I found it delicious. I would definitely order from here again! I has the vegan falafel kebab, and the portion was substantial for the very reasonable price. I also had the potatoes, dolma and hummus. All stunning. Thanks!

The food is incredible! My boyfriend got the chicken tagine and I got the halloumi/falafel mezze. We also got their special floral orange juice and I would recommend everything we had. They also have a whole vegan menu!!

Enjoyed the main dish and sides. Don't miss the special tea, which comes with a fez hat 🤠. I liked the simple tea more than the one with honey. The one with honey was nice too, but a bit too sweet for me. The waitress was really nice 🙂

I’ve been ordering from here for years and they have not once let us down! My partner can be picky so we often have to make special requests and they always get it spot on which I really appreciate. They have also never got a vegan order wrong which is always a worry of mine when ordering from other takeaways. Food always arrives hot and on time. 100% recommend!

Simply unreal food and value . Mixed bruchette and chawaffle mezze, all amazing. Tea was lovely too

Food was delivered 20 minutes earlier than the expected time. The meat wasn’t seasoned at all, not grilled long enough, with a small portion all thrown on top of the salad, which became soggy. There was nothing special about the kebab; it tasted like it was rushed to prepare. Called the restaurant to make a complaint and to rectify the problem, just to be told off. No humility for a customer whatsoever, especially at times where each customer should be looked after and treasured with care. Overall, a disgusting experience with rude staff. Won’t be ordering again.

Lovely place. We called in half an hour before they were due to a close - very polite friendly welcome, great food with lots of choice and lots of vegetarian options and very reasonably priced - great all round.

The meal was really good, lamb tagine and chicken marrakesh was very tasty, chips not so good soggy by the time we recieved them but hot potatoes tasted good. over all a nice meal recieved on time.

This food is amazing, very homely hearty healthy food, it’s been a while since I have ordered from here, and since I’ve been to the restaurant itself, I will definitely be taking the family to the restaurant, I had forgotten how delicious this place is, it’s great to see the consistency of beautifully cooked home-made food 😋

Food was delicious. Ordered the cheese brewet, chicken mezze, steamed couscous and chicken bourek. Nice big portion, bread was soft, the bourek and brewet both hot and freshly cooked. Will definitely order again.

Long overdue positive review: Four of us went for a friend's birthday on 13th March and are still talking about how wonderful our experience was here: Absolutely beautiful food, brilliant service, gorgeous atmosphere, and we couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for everything. A gem of a place. A few of the neighbouring places are a bit lowest common denominator but this place is great for food and ambience. Friendly staff.

Lovely meal before the cinema. Beautifully presented mezze, everything was really fresh and tasty. Very polite and friendly waitress who helped us with our selections from the extensive menu. Just lost a star on "atmosphere" because it was really cold. Will wrap up warmer next time we visit!

I went on a busy day. I ordered a pizza and chips. Pizza was lovely but the chips were overcooked n very brown. We got a lamb tagine- meat was very tough. We went to Morocco and the food was absolutely amazing. So thought to try here but unfortunately wasn’t pleased.

First time ordering and the food was absolutely delicious. Lamb tagine possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. Spiced potatoes amazing, home made chips so good, North African sausage and cheese pastry excellent. Hummus tasty! I’ll be ordering again.

My friend and I recently decided to try out Mogador for dinner, based on an online recommendation. Prior to our visit, I called and was pleased to learn that the restaurant was halal and didn't require reservations. We arrived just after opening time to find the place empty, and the lovely waitress promptly seated us. However, we had to change our seats three times before even ordering due to the uncomfortably cold temperature in the restaurant. We ended up eating our meal with our coats and gloves still on. It is crucial for the manager to address this issue as it significantly impacted our dining experience. The food was quite good, though because of the cold, we asked to have it packed up to finish at home. We ordered the meatballs mezze platter, dolma and the Mogador lamb shank couscous to share. The meatballs and dolma were very nice, but the fancy plate the starters were all served on made it challenging to eat without food falling onto the table. Serving them in basic bowls would have been more practical. The lamb shank and steamed vegetables were perfectly cooked. Generally speaking, couscous isn’t a personal preference of mine, though according to my friend, it was also very enjoyable. The restaurant's Moroccan authenticity is evident in both its cuisine and decor, which reflects its North African roots. However, the lack of heating significantly detracted from our overall experience. Despite the food’s quality, I’m unsure if I would return.

Staff were very friendly, food was very fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was great. It also helped the waiter sat us near the radiator. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic Morrocon food!

Exceptional food. Warm and tasted properly homemade. It was such a brilliant change from the standard takeaways you can get. The lamb tagine was perfect.

Food was lovely and my Morccan wife approves so must be good 😁 only problem was the seating area was a bit small and the seats uncomfortable.. we were also sat near the door and in a small space and I'm 7ft tall and wide so doesn't help 😅 Will definitely come again to try more.

Food was very much okay, meat was under seasoned and pizza had too much cheese and was too greasy. But they have an amazing waitress, she’s so nice and provides amazing service. The vibe of the place was very cozy and lovely.

My boyfriend and I came here one cold Friday night for some food. It wasn't our first choice, but we were glad the Mexican place further down the road was fully booked in the end, because it was gorgeous here. A lovely atmosphere, small and cosy, with a friendly waitress. We got a couple of things to share from the wide-ranging menu. Gorgeous food with a healthy feel to it. No alcohol served on the premises, but quite honestly I'm 25 next month and anything more than a pint on a Friday night has the potential to ruin my whole weekend.

Was recommended by a Moroccan guy to try Chicken Tangia Merrakchia. Was lovely. Highly recommend.

Went up North to spend New Year's with friends decided to try this place out wasn't disappointed food was amazing, the service was excellent. Definitely go again when I am up North again.

Had my usual Chicken & Green Pea Tagine and Lebanese Potatoes. Fantastic as always.

We went for dinner in winter. I ordered the sea food paella. It was delicious like a warm bowl of happiness. My friend ordered lamb chops. It was good but might feel a bit dry. The baklava was pretty good. Definitely recommend the place.

Ordered last week on a whim and wasn't expecting much: how wrong was i!! Fantastic food which is fresh, filling and of high quality, and fab delivery time. Both right on time and didn't take longer than 40 mins. A new favourite for sure!

Really excellent restaurant quality food.

In general, I was not impressed with the food's quality and taste. The lamb koftas were dry and lacked flavor, and the chips were overcooked and, in some parts, excessively soggy with a lack of seasoning or taste and lastly the rice was mediocre with no real flavour. I would advise against dining at this establishment.

Really enjoyed food from Mogador Cafe and would highly recommend! It was one of the best takeout meals we have eaten in recent years. The meat was so tasty, tender and juicy. We had the mix grill platter for two, the chunky chips were real potato with skin on, the rice perfectly cooked, the salad fresh and garnished and that tomato sauce was so aromatic. Oh it was delightful we will definitely be back

Been here multiple times, always great food. The chicken shawarma wrap is amazing but if you add halloumi it's the best wrap, the mogador special kebab was great, soft meats with lots of flavour. Also the hummus is one of my favourites highly recommend that. Best takeaway around the area
