Comptoir Libanais Gloucester Road in Kensington and Chelsea

We stopped here for a morning cup of tea and a small snack. The staff we more than welcoming and professional. We enjoyed a cup of tea and coffee. My daughter had rose petals and pistachio cheese steak. The presentation of both the drinks and food was very pretty.

Aashish was out waiter. Very nice. Food delicious.

We had a perfect evening sitting outside in a beautiful atmosphere. The service was fantastic, with servers who knew their menu and what they would recommend. When the food was promptly served, it was absolutely delicious, filling, and not heavy at all. I was also served the most delicious peach lemonade that I just had to order a second of!

What a find. Just spent a lovely couple of hours sharing a mezze platter and baklava selection with my daughter. The portions were generous and tasty. And the service was flawless thanks to Bhagi. Hope to be back one day.

The food was delicious, I am not a big fan of salads but I swear I never ever eaten a better one before! I highly recommend this place, our waiter was Ashish: professional and kind (and helped me making my choice throughout the menu ahaha)!

Awesome food and great atmosphere… and our server Daniel was superb ! They were also really helpful with a dairy and a gluten allergy - and they said it was some of the best food they had in London ! Definitely recommended - go, you won’t regret it !

We had a lovely meal here after the London marathon - great food and great service from Bhagi. Would come again!

Had such a great time here with my mum—she's never had Lebanese food before, and now she's a fan! The atmosphere was beautiful, especially the flowers. Honestly, I’m in love with how the place looks. The kitchen chef Awa was super flexible and really helpful, especially with my picky kids (which is always a challenge when eating out). The manager also came by to check if we were happy with everything, which was a really nice touch. She brought the hat with the quizzes for kids so they would not be bored while waiting for a food. And the food… I can’t even explain how good it was. So full of flavor, every dish was amazing. I also had the red Sangria—highly recommend it! The whole place felt clean, fresh, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back. 100% worth five stars.

While feeling hungry, I was looking for a levantian meal. In the middle of London, I found Comptoir Libanais. What a treat. The restaurant has an inviting setting. The feast was delicious. The manager made sure all of our dining needs were met. Merci Ashish!

I absolutely loved the ambience of the restaurant it felt like I’d stepped out of London and into a hidden gem. The floral touches and vintage vibes created such a dreamy, relaxed atmosphere. The food was amazing, especially the mixed grill, though I do wish the portion was a little bigger. And the lemonade flavours? So refreshing and unique! Such a lovely spot I’ll definitely be coming back.

Superb food, location, service. Very clean restaurant well decorated and tables can be reserved here which is great when celebrating a birthday or other special occasion. Staff were wonderful, and the food was superb as sways. Love the lamb kofta open wrap and the fresh traditional lemonades! We try to visit every time we're in London, wish we lived closer!

Lovely restaurant a short walk from Gloucester Road underground and the natural history museum. The meze starter for 2 amazing and Lamb tagine and flatbread wrap as suggested by the waiter equally as good. We ate early after being to the V&A so it was quiet, nice decor. Lovely service by B.D and Ashish.

I had dinner at this restaurant yesterday. I had never tried Lebanese food before and I was charmed. I ordered roasted salmon with tomato sauce and chickpeas. The dish was excellent. The food was hot and well presented, the portion was adequate for the price and the drink I ordered was very good. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the waiter who served me was extremely charming and kind. I will definitely visit the restaurant again very soon.

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. As a tourist, you might be willing to give it a try, but if you appreciate good food, it’s quite disappointing. The portions were very small for the price, which was a letdown considering Lebanese food is often known for its hearty servings. One of the most off-putting things was the green pepper we got from the jar — it was actually rotten, which was pretty unpleasant. The bread for the open wrap chicken shawarma was stone cold, like it had come straight from the fridge or been defrosted in a hurry. It made the whole meal feel rushed and unappetizing. We got a mix grilled (£20) were the chicken wings and the shawarma was overcooked, the open chicken wrap £16 had only half chicken breast chopped in 6 pieces and half plate was salad. The chicken rice salad bowl had something sour in the rice, and had 3 sauces on top ( red chilli, sour cream and the green was a mix of uncooked spices). The staff, however, were polite, which was the only saving grace of the experience. Unfortunately, when the food falls short, even the best service can’t make up for it. Overall, not a place I would recommend for those seeking a satisfying Lebanese meal.

Bhagi is a fantastic waiter. We loved the food so much and have had such a good experience that we have been here three times in one week!

The food was delicious and the interior is beautiful but the service was disappointing. I had booked a table for 5:45, but when I arrived, I was offered a seat by the window, even though there were plenty of seats inside. The window seat was drafty and cold as the door was slightly open, despite asking to move, I was told all other seats were reserved. After my friend arrived, she too was shivering. I asked again and was finally moved, but was told we could only stay for an hour and a half, which was fine, but not a very pleasant thing to hear. Interestingly, the whole time we were there no one came to the reserved seats anyway. Please prioritise the customers u have in the restaurant first. The staff seemed inexperienced—there were no water refills, I had to clean the table myself when the mains were brought, and we had to wait a long time for the bill. They also took my friend's unlocked phone to scan the barcode, which didn’t feel very safe. Overall, while the food was great, the staff seemed disorganised , and it wasn't the most comfortable dining experience.

Esto es imprescindible cuando mis amigos y familiares me visitan. Awa es uno de los chefs de allí. Su presencia, su vibra, su gran sonrisa, su positividad y su sabor - faire son solo algunos de los que pude sentir y probar en el restaurante. Fui a tres de ellos (Sloane Square, London Bridge y Gloucester Road) en Londres. Todas están bellamente decoradas, con un ambiente cálido y colorido, un servicio muy agradable y amable, una buena variedad en el menú (para los niños también) de entrantes, platos compartidos a los postres y carta de vinos. El precio en general es asequible. Los platos están bien presentados, sabrosos y coloridos. Vine con amigos y con la familia para comer y cenar y siempre me he sentido bienvenido. Sin duda volveré a visitar y recomiendo encarecidamente ese lugar.

Delicious food that we had the opportunity to taste before visiting the Natural History Museum. The atmosphere inside is great, the minus is crowds and noise, but what can you expect in London...;) we paid £62 for two courses, a drink, a small beer and baklava. Service included in the bill

I’ve visited Comptoir Libanais on Gloucester Road and in Chelsea, and both locations are fantastic. The atmosphere is really warm and inviting, with lovely, colorful décor that makes the whole place feel vibrant and unique. The food is incredible—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I had the mixed grill, and it was just right. The portions weren’t too big, unlike what you might get at other Lebanese restaurants, which I much preferred. Everything tasted so fresh and beautifully balanced. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The service was quick and efficient, but you never felt rushed. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone who loves good food and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Definitely a 10/10—I’ll be coming back for sure!

We went to Comptoir Libanais in Gloucester Road on Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious. There is no availability to book on line but we hadn't realised we could have made a reservation over the phone ( our mistake!). As a result the restaurant was full. However, Daniel, I assume the manager that day, couldn't have been aand more helpful and found us a table in the lower level. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We would highly recommend.

This is my go to place for food!! Me and my brother had Ashish as our waiter and he made sure to deliver some amazing and fast service. The aesthetics of the restaurant are also really warm and inviting, so it’s easy to get comfortable- not only that the food was incredible, really filling portions and had diverse flavours.

Good experience. I recommend. I really liked the chich taouk, not dry at all, on the contrary very tender, a soft rice pilaf and very well seasoned raw vegetables, as I don't usually like raw vegetables. I liked it too much.
