Bright Lebanese inspired decore with colourful posters and bright lights and other decorations. Salads, burgers or traditional share plates of Lebanese dishes. Wine or beer available and friendly informative staff. Excellent dining experience. We'll be back.

I could eat the Mama Zohra salad every single day for the rest of my life and die happy. Comptoir Libanais is such a great restaurant, with a lively decor, great service, and delicious food. Last year I was lucky enough to stumble across the South Kensington location before a trip to the V&A, and this vacation we chose this one, closer to our hotel. Beside the Mama Zohra salad, we had the falafel salad, fries, and fresh rose mint tea. We ordered more than we needed to; two lemonades, tea, olives, flatbread, and fries. You can skip the fries in favor of more of the warm flatbread. I can't wait for another trip to England for a chance to go back.

The Comptoir Libanais chain is an excellent chain and a great way to discover Lebanese cuisine. In all the locations we've visited, whether on Gloucester Road or elsewhere, I've consistently found high-quality food, excellent service, good cleanliness standards, and a very positive value for money.

Really enjoyed the Lebanese food here. Very flavorful and well spiced. Favorite were the halloumi and fig and the Sangria had a nice cinnamon flavor. Main entrees of lamb tagine and wrap were good And so was the falafel.

The meal and atmosphere was amazing. Daniel the manager made me feel very welcome and Faiz the waiter gave exceptional service and was a true gentleman. Bringing my entire family down from York next week and we will all be eating here again. Amazing food, great prices and amazing staff. I highly recommend.

Staff was very accommodating, and the i tried I would not say it was the best portion for x2 people and also the bread was not enough. Overall everything else went smoothly, just waited quite a bit for the portion of bread ordered the second time .

We came here to eat exhausted hot and tired. We were given a menu straight away with glasses of cold refreshing lemonade whilst we chose what to eat. After placing our order with the waiter we were asked about any allergies we may have, this is the first place we've ever eaten in that someone has asked about allergies. The food was prepared freshly in front of us, beautifully presented and the taste was impeccable. The bathroom facilities were clean and tidy and the soaps and Handwash smelt divine I don't remember the scent of the hanwash it was blackpepper with something else. I can't fault the service, food or the restaurant. Thank you for serving us.

I had a lovely mixed grill and the most amazing lemonade with rose syrup which was so heavenly a really a lovely place to enjoy your food plus amazing staff.

I had such a delightful time here! Ashish, who was serving us treated us like family. I took my mother there who has a language barrier and dietary restrictions. Ashish helped her find the perfect dish for her. The food was amazing, and the decor is fabulous. Highly recommend this particular branch!

Rude, arrogant and disrespectful! We walked out of this place after witnessing absolutely condescending and patronizing behavior. Talk about irony! We were seated outside, only to be told 5 minutes later that outside area is closed and we need to move inside. Alright, no problem. Once seated inside, each single host chose to ignore us. No one bothered to clean the dirty table we were seated at. We took a paper napkin and wiped away the crumbs ourselves. When we called a person, respectfully by raising our hand and waiting for someone to notice us, one host shouted back from across the hall that they will come to take our order in a minute. Fair enough, perhaps our presence is too undignified for this place. Perhaps, we stepped outside our bounds expecting a restaurant host to take order. Fair enough, we wait again. Another 4-5 minutes pass. During this time we observe the cooks behind the counter standing observing guests, about 4-5 servers passing by and joking. At this time we are quite literally rethinking our choice. Finally we decided to walk away when a guest couple walk in, are seated promptly and the same server who asked us to wait from across the hall promptly proceeds to take their order with his handheld receiver. Your restaurant establishment prides itself on being family place. You should be rather quite ashamed of your condescending conduct. We have been to a few places and encountered different people with different attitudes, however you guys take the cake. Enjoy it!!

The food here is excellent. Everything from the salad, the meat and the cocktails tastes fresh and authentic. Would highly recommend.

Great dinner and good sized portions

Got a Baba G for take out - in itself it was very good served with warm bread, no questions toward food quality, as well as the service, all the staff was super nice. What I must note that, I have never ever been given a portion this small in any middle eastern restaurant)) For a whopping £8, which is an average price, I have always had a tub of baba g that lasted me over a day. This however was two spoons of meze, no more, didn't even cover the entirety of the one flatbread I was given) Very modern soho prices, or rather portions) Not nice, guys))

We had just spent several hours on a tour bus and were dropped off nearby. We were going to go to Wing Stop, but it was crowded in there, so we kept walking. We were about to pass this place, but after seeing no other options down the street, we decided to go here. We are so glad we did! This was probably the best food we've eaten in London thus far! We ordered the "Feast to Share," which included the Mezza Platter, we chose the Mixed Grill and Salmon, and finally, Baklava & mint tea. We also got a side of fries for my child. Everything was flavorful, even the fries. This was the first time I ordered Salmon in a Lebanese or any Meditteranean restaurant, and I was very happy. I'm not sure if my Pina Colada had alcohol but I loved it so much that I needed another one. The decor of the place is so vibrant it makes you feel happy. My child and I went downstairs to the restrooms when we first arrived, and he was drawn to the large fruit baskets on the tables and the cool, colorful hats along the side. Even the restrooms were bright and cheery. The service was also fantastic at this place. I think the guy that took our order was the owner (he looked like the baby on the picture on the cover of the menu), and he wasn't wearing one of those aprons. So, we had to ask another server for a straw, and he obliged. My husband accidentally spilled his beer, and another server came by with a towel to help clean it up. Great teamwork, and they all were so nice and helpful. If you want delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and friendly service, you need to go here.

Great experience. Food was delicious and fast, the staff were very attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. We were a big group of 8 and in a rush, but we were able to be in and out in 40 min. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter picked this place for a family birthday meal. We decided on the set meal for 3 shared between the four of us (which was more than enough). Mezzo and mains courses were great, really tasty. Slightly let down by the dessert- baklava which was a bit on the small side and dry. I would probably deduct half a star if that were possible. We went on Sunday lunchtime - I expected it to be busier, but there were just a couple of tables occupied. Can park on the road for free on a Sunday down the side streets approx 5 mins walk away.

They don't have proof of being halal, they only have the words, it's truly shameful to lie about something like this for customers, it's very hard as it is to find food to eat for Muslims without these liars

Was seated right away without reservations and then promptly left alone. I had to eventually shout out to fast-walking waiters to take my order. Food was served hot and was very tasty. In particular enjoyed the Lebanese salad. I ordered the open wrap chicken. Very few chicken pieces though.

Very expensive and a huge compulsory tip. I ended up paying £38 for a burger that wasn't a burger and two beers. No draught beer and tiny bottles. They claimed on the menu it was 5% but when the bottle turned up it was 4.6%. Service was slow. I will not be going back.

The food was delicious with all fresh ingredients. We had a variety of dishes and they were all very good. The waiter Sandeep was amazing, very kind and attentive. We Recomend the restaurant highly.

-A quirky restaurant right on Gloucester road with both indoor and few outdoor tables -All manner of hanging plastic flowers, hats, handbags, plates and the like around the restaurant. - I visited at 5:30pm mid week and it was surprisingly busy and very noisy from chatting -Friendly staff and a nice range to choose from on the menu -I saw blankets which can be used if sitting outside which was a nice idea -Take-away container and utensils all recyclable -The road outside was extremely noisy and busy, so I can't imagine sitting outside would be that pleasant though -I ordered the meal to take back to my hotel room- only a 2min walk away. -For the price, the serving size was rather small, and as you can see from the photos, the chicken was bone dry and hard. I could barely cut it up, let alone chew it, so sadly, majority I threw away. -I didn't realise this was part of a restaurant chain If I was in the area again, I'd give them another try, otherwise, I wouldn't bother making a special trip.

The service was quite good and helpful except for the delay, but the problem was the food which was actually a real disaster, not recommended at all. I came to enjoy a drink with a Mezze, the drink was fine but the Mezze was Inedible at all.

Nice place. Staff is not super friendly, but we liked the food and ambiance. Staff is, by the way, not aware of the legislation around putting tips on the bill. I didn't make a fuss, but what they do is not really (far from) best practice. Or is it illegal?

It was a very busy lunchtime so we had to sit on a 'sharing table', which was fine. After placing our order we set watching people who'd arrived after us getting served, without so much as our drinks coming. Eventually we asked and it turned out our order hadn't been submitted. We had to re-order and even then I had to chase our drinks up. We weren't offered an apology at any time, let alone some free nibbles to keep us going. When the bill came, my friend asked if there would be any discount as we'd had to wait ages and the waitress did return with a new bill with £5 off...but we had to ASK! Shame, as the food was nice.

We dined in this restaurant, as the food was arriving a stranger came up to our table asking for change. The manager did nothing to remove this person, whilst we were trying to get them to leave us alone, the person stole my partners phone from our table. It wasn’t until going to pay the bill we realised it was missing. The manager was unhelpful and unapologetic, absolutely disgraceful.
