Staff couldn’t be nicer and bring a really friendly atmosphere. Working on the market and popped in twice - really good coffee, will be back whenever I’m in Stockport :)

I had a great time at coffe block.The place has a cozy atmosphere, and the staffs are really friendly. The coffee was fresh and tasted amazing. I also tried a dessert, and it was delicious. If you're looking for a nice spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee, I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely a great coffee shop to be in fabulous staff well looked after fantastic coffee always the same. The vibes and atmosphere is amazing I been in a few times when I felt down but they don’t let you be down they lift your spirits and I feel so much happier than ever they have a great selection of drinks and food well set out if you don’t call in you are well miss out 💙♥️💙♥️🌎🌎🌎

The Coffee Block staff are always warm and friendly. There is always enough staff to serve you quickly, (unlike these franchise cafes.) And they promote and sell the work of local artists and artisans.

Amazing service! Amazing drinks and food with a great atmosphere!

I changed my mind once when deciding what cake I wanted and the lady at the front huffed and puffed so loud before putting on a fake voice and smile and saying that’s fine. I then just asked if I could get my coffee in a takeout cup, 10 seconds after paying which again she huffed and puffed about as well as slamming my cup on the counter when she has just switched it from a mug to a takeout cup. I didn’t appreciate the constant sighing to my face and very clearly putting on a fake voice and smile. It was so rude. Need better customer service.

A very nice coffee shop, with some of the nicest coffee I've had in a while (big fan of the mocha especially). There is always a good array of sweet treats too, I particularly recommend the ginger and pumpkin slice. Lovely atmosphere, and always greeted with a smile. Seems to be a fair few regulars, which goes to show the consistent high quality!

After being completely ignored in Costa, I made the decision I should have made in the first place of visiting the Coffee Block instead. Amber and Sadie gave sincerely friendly service, ensured I was happy and cheered me right up. It wasn’t my first visit, and I know this level of service is the standard you always get here. Thanks to the whole team, I know to head straight to the Coffee Block from now on, and avoid the chains!

Visited today for the first time for an Americano. Great customer service and a good vibe. Looks to be a lot of regular clientele as the barista was on first name terms with most people ordering. I’ll definitely be back when over in Stockport for shopping.

Welcome CB2!! 👏 Lucky enough to work nearby and very happy to be a new regular! The decor is amazing and lovely to experience in what was a very wasted old building that has been crying out for something like this for a very long time, I've worked nearby for nearly ten years and been in this space through all it's forms and can say absolutely that this is the best I have seen it (by far) and the best service I have experienced (by far). The service is absolutely outstanding and the coffee... Wow! The best I've had for a very long time. Food excellent and super efficient staff. Well worth a visit! Everybody needs a little CB in their lives 🙌😊

Lovely place. The coffee is good and they have a good selection of cakes and toasties etc - it’s like Costa but better and without the huge price tag! I love the decor and it has a lovely warm atmosphere If there was one teeny tiny thing I’d love them to change is a nice smelling handwash in the toilets 😅

my husband and I usually go into the Coffee Block once or twice a week in Stockport Precinct. . we decided to use the Just Eat facility. the food arrived clearly marked on each container and it was piping hot. It was like being in the Coffe Block, all that was missing was the superb atmosphere you get in the shop. Sarah & her crew make you feel welcome plus the minted lamb panin̈is are to die for. We wish you all A HAPPY NEW YEAR. Deb & Paul will see you very soon.

Very busy, people and staff kept bumping into my chair. Hot chocolate was very small for the price.

I absolutely love this place. They make the best cappuccino I've ever tasted, also do a really nice hot chocolate. The staff are very friendly, the service is fast, and the place is always spotlessly clean. It's busy with chatter but no overly loud music, and has a friendly atmosphere. With both indoor and outdoor seating, a generous and simple rewards card, and staff who remember you and always greet you upon entry and exit, I can't recommend this place enough. I am a regular visitor to the Coffee Block and always will be. An easy 5 stars!

Service is always phenomenal Food and drink are delicious I usually get a panini,cup of tea and a hot choclate and an oreo I have been like 5 times and the service ect is always spot on.I appreciate the graft you do for our great service,keep up the great work And lastly when I'm low or in a bad mood they all ways seve with a smile,and that makes my day. We all go through struggles but a simple smile could change the day

Lovely to have an independent coffee shop in the centre of Stockport. Staff are really friendly (it was obvious that there are regular customers), coffee was good and plenty of tables to sit at. The decor is particularly pleasant. Will definitely go again.

First visit here today. Very impressed. Very clean. Basic offering of food: paninis, toasties, sandwiches and soup. Fab looking cakes! Wide range of hot drinks. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely return.

I ordered the Oreo Brownie and an Oat Milk Caramel Latte (These are both Vegan options) to takeaway and both were tasty. The Staff were warm and welcoming and I would definitely recommend.

Sunday 12.45pm - absolutely packed and you know what. They’ve got it right. Coffee and cakes were delicious and nice cafe atmosphere. Good to see new places doing things right in Stockport. More places like these will help Stockport transform into a buzzing city 🫶

We come here everytime we are in Stockport town centre! We love treating ourselves to a minted lamb panini with a sweet treat on the side!

I figured I'd get iced tea for a change... but the jasmine and lime iced tea tastes like juice? It doesn't taste like jasmine OR lime 😭 Honey iced tea that you buy in the supermarket kinda thing? £3.95 is steep for it. Wishing that I got coffee... the smell of fresh coffee is wonderful in here. I love the stickers and jewellery stand near the till, also! Atmosphere is lovely, but I find the music too loud! (most cafes have this issue, to be fair)

This is my favourite place for coffee in Stockport. There are always a good number of people in there, enough to create a nice atmosphere without being busy – and this is because it's a great cafe. The team are really friendly and welcoming, the coffee and cakes are first class.

Great place and atmosphere. Only thing really is having more Gluten Free and Dairy Free options available. Lovely coffee though and the carrot cake was yum! 🤤

I cannot express how much I love coffee block! The staff are so friendly and genuinely lovely, the coffee is perfect and it’s such an inviting and warm atmosphere. Coffee block does feel like a home away from home, my boyfriend and I love to visit and always get the warmest welcome. 10/10

We’ve had a couple of visits here now and great service each time. Super selection of food (pastries, cakes, sandwiches etc!) and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very good coffees. Good amount of tables too. Would definitely visit here again.

Popped in for a midweek brew and the staff were very friendly, good flat white and a cool selection of coffee merch! Plenty of room, nice and clean throughout.

We needed coffee to keep us going, I looked up TripAdvisor and this place came up. We had been to another place but it wasn't worth it. Anyway this coffee place had a warm welcome and some great quirky stuff for sale also . The coffee was great and staff friendly. I had a panini which was great. Nice seating inside and out with plenty of room.

Simply amazing coffee, cakes and food. What also sets them apart is that everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I have two young girls and at the weekend I asked them where they wanted to go for a treat and they both said here! What they do, they do so very well.

Lovely new coffee shop discovery! The service was polite, pleasant and prompt. The gluten free cake options a rare treat (and very delicious) and the coffee was lovely. Happy we found this place today and we'll definitely be visiting again 😄

Friendly coffee shop. You feel like part of a community when you walk in... everyone is so nice and welcoming.. the prices are a little bit much, but so is everything these days. It would be great if they could start offering NHS discount or student discount, I'd sit in there and study more 👌

Best coffee shop I've ever been to, bar none. Incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the smoothest double espresso and the tastiest, gooey-est maple and pecan pie! Unfortunately I'm not from Stockport so I can't go in daily 😩 I will definitely be back asap!

Great new independent coffee and cake shop plus other goodies with great service and lovely decor. My experience was only marred by the booming busker in the square outside . EDIT 28 oct 23 This coffee shop really is going from strength to strength and is turning into a local community asset with great coffee,cakes and food at fair prices . Lovely staff too .. great Halloween decorations and costumes 😁 EDIT April 2024- Still great but there seems to be some Cakeflation creeping in . Noticed £4.75 for a piece of apple cake , really ?

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Food, especially the cakes, are scrummy. And coffee is always top notch. The apple pie is incredible! 100% recommend! Wheelchair friendly. Dogs welcome.

A sunny Wed morning in Stockport and nothing seemed to be open other than depressing chain coffee stores. So, I was thrilled to see people sat inside Coffee Block. a local independent. Beans were darker than I like but in a flat white, they made a lovely coffee. Milk was well textured. Had a tea cake with loads of butter on the side. The staff were incredibly welcoming. The friendliness hit me as soon as I opened the door! Given the often aloof service in decent coffee shops, this was a refreshing change. Every customer got the same enthusiastic welcome. It was a pleasure to sit and watch. Great job Coffee Block. You deserve to be a great success.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here, it’s not been on the precinct too long and everything is new and fresh. Plenty of cakes and snacks to choose from and the coffee is served hot, strong and fresh. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Went in to meet my mum for a coffee, then a friend the day after (you get a bit bored of Costa). There are several members of staff, most of whom are really polite and helpful. There's one particular member of staff though who serves on the till (both days on this occasion), and didn't use her manners once; thought it might have been "off" day the first time, but her attitude was exactly the same the day after: curt and surly. Really deters you from going again, which is a shame as the coffee and space are decent.

First time coming here, finally while my anxiety stopped me from coming in many times. The staff are so friendly and the drinks and food they have taste amazing. The coffee and sweet snack really did help me today while dealing with depression, meds haven't made me feel great but coming here has really made me feel better. Best place I've ever been to!

Beautiful coffee shop. Tasty vegan cake and coffee. Music was way too loud, so I found it difficult to hear what people were saying. There weren't many people in there but the staff were whistling, talking loudly, and singing which I found overstimulating and a bit overwhelming. I'm not sure I'd come back again just because of the noise! Big shame because everyone's so welcoming and friendly. If you aren't bothered by noise then I'd recommend otherwise :)

Needed to pass some time while having work done on my car. Had the best flat white coffee ever here!!! Full of flavour but smooth and creamy, absolutely delicious 😋. Also had a toasted tea cake with plenty of butter. Staff were very happy and good atmosphere. Will definitely go back when I next go to Stockport xx
