Wasn’t much chips or chicken in both of them paid all that money and wasn’t much there

Lovely fresh food. Will definitely order again.

Cheeseburger supper was delivered without chips. Phoned restaurant and they said they would deliver chips in around 1 hour. They did not deliver.

Food quality was decent but delivery time was under estimated on the app then increased when the order was placed and then was still even later

Great food always hot and tasty

would have been nice to get my full order £2 tub of curry sauce paid not in my order when delivered

I ordered a spicy chicken pizza and almost broke my tooth on a BONE from the chicken, I phone to complain and all they could say was “it wont happen next time” will not be ordering from them AGAIN!

Had 2 visitors & we all wanted a chippy tea. It’s fair to say my visitors loved the fish suppers & said it’ll be The Codfather they’ll choose for future chippy choice. Fritters were bang on again. Delivered on time & everything hot on arrival.

said the food was delivered when it was not, waited over 2 hours then went into the shop only to wait another hour for the food picked it up and still had to pay delivery. absolutely shocking

Order was accepted, said it was on its way just over an hour later. Asked for an update and got a text saying another 5 mins and then it never arrived! Last order from us!

Was told delivery would be over an hour, it’s been two with no delivery and they’re now showing as shut..

Said they had delivered, when it was not, wouldn’t answer the phone to me !!! Horrible

never delivered waiting 2 hours ,then app said delivered and enjoy food, i had to drive to shop just to find out they havnt even made my order and could i wait 25 mins and take it myself . just a joke

Despite my order exceeding the estimated delivery time provided by Just Eat, the quality of the food received was exceptional. The food was warm and plentiful, meeting my expectations and leaving me satisfied with the overall experience.

delivery was perfect well done driver 🤌🏻 as for the food, not impressed tbh ordered a battered pizza asked for just cheese and specifically no onion and they sent cheese and onion. disappointed, disgusted and ashamed. will not be ordering again

i order out here regularly and I have recommended it to alot of family and friends due to thinking it's amazing. but last night I was very disappointed the chips were extremely undercooked half of them were stone cold ??? and also paid for a can of redbull to have with my dinner which I didn't receive. things like this just put you off

I've had the spicy chicken pizza from here a few times & it's always really good & probably one of the best pizzas you'll get in Kilmarnock, lots & lots of chicken & jalapenos on the pizza, layered in cheese aswell, I also got the jalapenos bites & they were good also, they've also got a great selection of dipping sauces, my favourites the garlic, but if your looking for a great pizza I'd definitely recommend here .

Well….Codfather has redeemed itself after a couple of bad orders being rotten fritters/potato, hard & not so hot at start of the year, whereas a year ago their food was hot, crispy & delicious. They’re back to what was…..hot on delivery, crispy batter & feeling!

apologies to the driver, I thought I ordered 2 bottles of juice, checked my order I placed turns out I changed it to 1 bottle ops

Haggis and Sausage was really good. The fish I heard was tasty and no bones. Delivery time was good for being so busy and the delivery driver was a friendly big guy. Good man.

Order here all the time now after ordering from my first order and the food is absolutely delicious and fresh and the delivery is so quick and the staff are friendly and the ice cream from here is a must try if you haven’t 😀

Stay only two stone throws away from the Codfather fish and chip shop in Shortlees. Had our first fish supper from it yesterday. What a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, moderate price , quick service and best of all a great fish supper. Both the fish and the chips were well cooked and hardly any grease. Will we be back ? Yes. Sorry no phots as we were to hungry :)

Food was “okay”. The chips were a little undercooked for my taste, but everyone is different 🤷‍♀️ Delivery, heat of food, etc was all fine.

2 fish suppers were cold and so was one of the fritter rolls

the food was horrible. cold, hard,greasy and the wrong sauce. I phoned the number provided and the "owner" said he would deal with me tomorrow. 2 months late and still no call. he obviously sent out whatever was near him when I ordered. this was my go-to chippy for years but I won't be ordering again after the last few orders.

delivery time kept getting delayed actually went too bed then heard a chap didn't eat food as was too late in the evening.

won't be getting another deep fried Mars bar from this place, as they are either using the mini Mars bars or they are halving a normal sized Mars bar in two as it was only about an inch long. But charged £2. Robbery.

The Haggis supper is probably the best around Killie. Not had a better one yet.

1 Burger was swimming in tomato ketchup, every bite caused sauce to drip out other ends. I couldn’t taste the burger, just the sauce. Even the packaging was smothered. Another burger bun was burnt and again a large amount of sauce but not as much as the cheese burger. Ordered large chips but between three of us we got a very small handful each so not a large amount. Mars bars were lovely but not much batter on them. Overall it doesn’t warrant a complaint but it did warrant a truthful review

Missing sausage from the supper I ordered phoned them and couldn’t understand and nothing was sorted waited ages to then have no dinner for my partner. Won’t be ordering from there again shocking !

I usually really like this place and food always good, however I ordered scampi, which I have done in the past, which is clearly advertised as wholetail scampi. They have clearly bought in cheaper processed stock which is what I got tonight. I have worked in the food industry for many years so I know exactly what wholetail scampi is and I don’t appreciate being given something different to what is advertised on the menu. Really not happy and after tonight I won’t be using again. Not a nice meal

Everything tasted fine, only slight complaint was that the menu says smoked sausages but only received one and that was quite small, but would order from here again.

Estimated delivery time ehrn ordered circa 6.20pm. An hour late 7.30pm and cold and disgusting went straight into the bin request a refund.

Have used The Codfather a few times and each time the food has been excellent would highly recommend. Delivery is always really quick

Breaded Mushrooms were still frozen and the Scampi well was hardly fit to be called Scampi, a Very cheap imitation! my mushrooms were replaced after complaining, but should have been cooked properly in the first place, no excuses!

The ice cream was all the wrong kinds I was very dissatisfied

Fish and chips were good. But I find rhe lack of salt n vinegar when delivering not as good as probably collecting fresh. It just seems weird. But ate it 😊

Chips could have been hotter, and maybe cooked a wee bit longer, I like my chips well cooked though so could just be a personal preference. In all fairness everything was really nice, can’t fault it. Delivery earlier than expected too

Ordered a scampi supper that took 2 hours for delivery on a Monday night. Scampi was lovely but supper was small and not worth the money or the 2 hour wait.
