I have to feel for the lady who is left running the restaurant. It’s not the first time we have seen the short staffed issue where she has been left apologising to customers. The chef makes the finest food under a lot of duress. If. Could say - table for two 19.30, garlic mushroom starter, bottle of Merlot and two steaks - marvellous. But when you have to wait over an hour just to order it’s not acceptable. Who ever is in charge should address this issue and give some consideration to your staff! - and the customers who have booked.

I would have given the hotel 5 stars as the rooms are superb and the food was pretty good. A great location and loads of free parking. Service staff were all very friendly and the girl serving breakfast ( it was very good) was very friendly. So I hear you ask why not? Well I found the lady on reception when we checked in reminiscent of Basil Fawlty from Fawlty Towers the old TV program. She was verging on rude demanding my personal e-mail address (I gave her the generic works one) and demanding my mobile number… sorry pet that’s for me to decide who gets it. When I challenged her she tried to blame the now gone covid rules. Anyway she wanted a verbal fight and I won. Her aside it’s a great place! Maybe her names was actuall Cybill?

La posizione è buona in 10 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il castello. Ampio parcheggio all’interno della struttura. Camera pulita, ampia, letti comodi e grande box doccia. Cena al ristorante discreta, buona colazione. Personale poco incline al sorriso.

The salads were full of grit. The smoked duck arrived stone cold, was overcooked and had a bad flavour (possibly an artificial smoke flavour). The service was a bit off too. The welsh rarebit was decent though.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We were especially impressed by the serious Covid-19 measures in place, though we visited during a busy time it did not feel crowded. The staff are super friendly, kind and accommodating - we felt really welcome during our stay, giving tips on local places to visit. A really great price for its location and with breakfast included. The room itself was a decent size and everything felt very well cleaned. Would definitely return here next time we are in Pembroke, felt like a great find.

We had three different dishes on the night of our visit and mum's choice of the Duck and noodles was outstanding. Beautifully cooked and delicious ingredients. I had the sea bass which again was properly cooked - it's not as easy a a decent chef makes it look, but the fish wasn't that fresh I'm afraid. The third dish was the lasagne. I'm certain it had come from the freezer - much easier and quicker to cook when busy and a number of restaurants with large menus use this business model to keep their prices down. The lasagne was very dry though and overdone at the edges. Service was excellent throughout. Attentive and helpful.

Booked online a 3 day 2 night stay in the Coach House Hotel, our room was above the entrance to the car park, very spacious with a huge double bed. One word of warning if like me you are over 6 foot there are a number of sloping ceilings around the windows in our room. I only banged my head once. We ate in the Restaurant and the food was very good. I had the slow roasted welsh lamb excellent see photo. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Short walk into the town and castle,Free off street parking behind the hotel. Would go again staff helpful.

We spent 2 nights here and appreciated the friendly staff, who directed me to an area where I could practise my guitar without disturbing others. Our bedroom was spacious, well equipped and with a roomy shower room. Personally, I'd have preferred a firmer bed. Breakfast (available from 6 am!) was well cooked and presented. Plenty of on site parking. Pembroke, as a town, is lovely. A bit downtrodden but, with the exception of one empty "70's monstrosity" full of beautiful buildings. This place has so much potential, with its location and fabulous castle. I would recommend this hotel and town as a place to stay.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein Paradebeispiel, wie man aus besten Produkten auch schlechtes Essen machen kann: Der Chef muss wohl Panadenfan sein, denn das Hakefilet war von einet doppelten Menge Teig umhüllt. Bei den Zwiebelringen auf meinem Steak war das Verhältnis Zwiebel zu Teig mindestens 1 : 10. Das Ribeye Steak "medium rare" bestellt kam durch und durch grau, also well done. Dass es trotzdem zart war, zeugt von der guten Fleischqualität. Was hätte das für ein Genuss sein können, wenn es wenigstens rosa auf den Tidch gekommen wäre. Schöner frischer Salat wurde sowohl zum Fisch wie zum Steak ohne jeglichen Dressing serviert ! Auf dem Tisch dann nur Essig. Wir waren sprachlos. Der gute, preiswerte Pinot Grigio war natürlich warm. No more comments...

Stayed here in the the super double for one night. Got to check in early. Wonderful greeting from front of house & very helpful. Room was lovely, clean, spacious. Perfect. Breakfast was lovely also. Will be back

I had lavabread with cockles and bacon as starter: super! Then a lamb shank came: tasty tender meat, delicious potatoes in a pot aside, abundant sauce. A true welsh dinner!

The menu choice was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Service was good and the staff attentive.

Very fast service, peaceful atmosphere, GORGEOUS food and not too expensive. I definitely recommend!

Visited the restaurant with 9 friends to celebrate a birthday. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and valued as customers. Service was superb, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were even happy to take group photos of us. We took our own table decorations which were laid out before our arrival and the staff brought out the birthday cake which we had purchased elsewhere without a fuss or extra charge. We had a fantastic night with lovely food in this clean and comfortable restaurant. They also cater for vegans, I had a choice of 4 or 5 main courses which is unusual in this town and gluten free options were available too. I would highly recommend to everyone, especially large parties as the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a good night.

We booked The Coach House Hotel for an overnight stay. We arrived late in the evening - if driving note that the Coach House is on a one-way street, hotel is on the left - ample car park at the rear. We were greeted by a very friendly lady on reception. I'd read in previous reviews about a small ramp at the base of the stairs and the lady pointed this out to us. Our room was nice and clean and bed comfortable. All you need for an overnight stay. The bar staff were friendly and helpful.

Visited the restaurant with 2 other couples for an evening meal. Well laid out dining area with good sized tables and comfortable seats. Staff, 2 young ladies very polite and helpful, all though 1 young lady was clearly still in the learning stage o0f becoming a waitress. Food was very good, good selection on the menu and it was well presented.

Restaurant, Hotel und Bar in einem. Gute Auswahl an Speisen, zu moderaten Preisen und große Portionen. Wir hatten das Jerk Chicken mit Süsskartoffel Pommes und klassische Fish’n’Chips. Ich fand das Jerk Chicken gut gewürzt, es war ein komplettes Hähnchenfilet. Dazu gab es bunt gemischten Coleslaw und noch eine Handvoll Blattsalat mit Paprika und Tomaten; allerdings ohne Dressing. Zusammen mit vier Bier für 36 Pfund absolut ok.

We were there as a birthday treat, nice meal nice surrounding too would definitely visit again and would recommend.

My wife and I ate at the Coach House Hotel one night and were satisfied with the quality and quantity of food supplied. The staff were attentive and pleasant.

My friend and I stayed here one night after our coastal walk. The property was lovely and the location couldn't be better. The manager, a young man, was absolutely fabulous! He was so helpful and attentiive. He even tracked us down after we checked out to deliver an item my friend had left in the room. I highly recommend this B&B;.

Als Kellner arbeiten zwei Schüler, die leider keinen Überblick haben und völlig überfordert sind. Die Qualität des Essens ist schlecht, auch die Getränke wurden nicht zu dem Gang gebracht, zu dem wir sie bestellt haben. Beim bezahlen mit der Kreditkarte verlangte sie Besitzerin Geheimzahl, Unterschrift und Personalausweis!!!'

Visitamos durante unas vacaciones en la zona y impresiones iniciales eran buenas. El camarero era educado y amable y nuestras bebidas llegó rápidamente. Una vez la comida era ordenados que llegó rápidamente. Sin embargo, el comedor comenzó a llenarse de una gran fiesta entre ellos y el servicio empezó a tambalearse. Nos parecía haber sido olvidado en la esquina ya que nadie aclaro nuestra mesa. Era difícil conseguir la atención del personal ya que sólo parecía ser un chico joven frenetically tratando su mejor esfuerzo para atender a una habitación ocupada. Incluso cuando llegamos nuestros platos nuestros postres plato principal del no aclaradas. Fue una pena, ya que este estropeada la experiencia hopecully tales cuestiones puede ser corregido en el futuro.

Este hotel era fácil de encontrar y tenía un montón de aparcamiento. El registro fue fácil y el recepcionista amable. La habitación estaba bien decorada y limpia. La cama era una de las más grandes que he dormido y muy cómodas. El baño estaba limpio y funcional. Mi única queja es que las paredes son increíblemente finas, así que puedes oír al lado de respiración (esto es común en muchos hoteles). Recomiendo tapones para dormir bien por las noches. Visitamos el Coach House para una comida familiar, pero la comida era muy decepcionante. Algunas de la comida estaba fría y pobre. Cuando fui a pagar me dijeron que la máquina no funcionaba la tarjeta y tengo que caminar a la ciudad para obtener dinero en efectivo de un cajero automático.

Reservamos aquí para una cena temprano también era un grupo muy grande celebrando un cumpleaños este no cambia para los horarios de las comidas. El personal era muy atento y educado. Tuve el pato que era adorable que venía con patatas y algo de verduras mixtas, pude ver algunas otras diners tenía una combinación de verduras de invierno, que parecía ser mucho mejor que yo tenía, que vienen con el pollo. Habría sido agradable si había una variedad de verduras. Mi pareja tuvo el filete que disfrutó. Ambos tuvimos el pudin, pero esto fue decepcionante, ya que definitivamente fue comprado en, el tipo que puedes comprar en un supermercado en 2 por £1. Estaba muy bien presentado, pero el budín era insípida realmente. Nos quedamos con ganas de un buen trozo de flan casero que estoy seguro de que el chef podría hacer y luego me han dado 5 estrellas.

The Coach House Hotel is a great venue for an afternoon drink. Opposite Connaught Guest House and with free parking available.

We were staying at the Coach House and decided to eat in the restaurant there. We had a chicken Caesar Salad and lambchops for dinner. Delicious! The wait staff weren't terribly attentive and didn't seem interested in checking with us to see if everything was all right, but otherwise the atmosphere in the dining room was warm and welcoming.

Open Sunday evening, a bonus in this town. Meals were good without being anything special & there was no choice of beers.

Service was friendly and very fast (although it was nearly empty due to the time of day) very good value (rated as cheap eats due to low prices but food was certainly not of a cheap quality!!) generous portion sizes and a varied menu including both pub classics and a more up market range.

Acabamos de regresar de este hotel después de una noche de sábado estancia reservada en el último minuto con mi esposa como una corta escapada. Costo por una habitación doble con el desayuno incluido era £75 para nosotros, me pareció que esta no será mucho!, mal!. Dormitorio y excelente, todo el personal era muy servicial y amable, y el desayuno era excelente, a pesar de ser fin de semana hombre de hierro de Gales y todo el que quiera el desayuno todo al mismo tiempo. Decidimos comer en el lugar por la noche y, de nuevo, no me decepcionó a pesar de los hoteles estrellas diario siendo un 3 estrellas, la comida estaba muy buena. Si buscas un limpio, bien dirigido, agradable y con buena comida a un precio muy razonable, no puedes equivocarte con este establecimiento, sin duda reservar de nuevo una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Great big room, great and lovely staff, enormous breakfast. If I go there again, I'll prefer to stay in this hotel again. There is also great place to eat near called Waterman's Arms

Fuimos a una comida familiar y encantador con nuestros 3 hijos (de 2, 7 y 12). Todos encontramos había mucha variedad en el menú (también hay un menú infantil) y la comida era excelente - recién preparado y sabroso! Mi marido sólo crítica fue que su parte podría haber sido un poco más grande, Él tenía los chuletas de cordero. Sin embargo mi porción de comida era perfecto, tenía la lubina. Las porciones de los niños eran geniales. Los postres estaban deliciosos! El servicio era excelente y el personal era muy educado y amable. Sin duda volveremos!

Comimos aquí con mi amigo recientemente. La atención fue muy buena, el personal muy atento y educado. La comida llegó bastante rápidamente, pero el restaurante sólo había unas cuantas mesas ocupadas. No había mucho ambiente en que, para ser sincero, me dieron una enorme zona de restaurante que yo estaría muy sorprendido si que llenan a capacidad, deberían pensar en mover un par de mesas y tal vez conseguir un músico en juego en los fines de semana. De todos modos la comida dejar realmente toda la cosa para mí. Tuve el plato de solla del menú y estaba bajo arqueadas, demasiado hinojo secas que le dan un sabor a ser abrumador y el popurrí de verduras de anís en el plato de judías cocidas seriamente consistía francés, zanahorias baby y una carga de perejil de hoja plana fresco! Mi amigo sin embargo tenía la hamburguesa de cordero y dijo que era muy bonita. Los precios no están mal, pero yo diría que la selección en el menú es más como comida de pub y menos fino. Deberian de hacer el entorno y ambiente más 'pubby 'ir con la comida y que serían una apuesta segura.

Myself and a colleaguevisited The Coachhouse for a staff meal in December, we sampled the christmas dinner and it was lovely, tasty and very well presented. The food was lovely, the service was very quick and helpful and the staff were very pleasant and polite.

Cada uno tenía comida fantástica. Un gran servicio mi tarta de hongos para empezar era magnífico. Elegir el plato principal Tha pescado a la perfección. taza de chocolate para super del desierto. El café irlandés perfecto. Sally. y el personal muy justo. Usamos el lavado habitación tan impresionados. Nunca había visto tanta limpieza en cualquier lugar de "Pembrokeshire". We ate our evening meal here, and the food was delicious. A homey atmosphere with food to match. Lamb shank was perfect.

Had a lovely meal with my husband ,great food ,Katie and her staff could not do enough for us ,I wanted the chicken but it had cheese in it and I asked Katie was is ok for me to have the chicken without the cheese and it was no bother at all ,I would recommend all of you to try it ,it's in the Main Street Pembroke and plenty of parking space

Came back for a second time during our stay in Pembroke, food was so good the first time round had to come back before we left to go back home

My stay here was brilliant from start to finish Sally the owner and Kate her mangeres were so good as was the staff all from the cleaners and kicken staff are so good at they jobs we have stayed here 3 years now and cannot fault a thing all is very good here would recommend anyone to stay here everyone is very friendly it is like home from home so thank you all for your kind welcome see you all next year from jackie

Otra noche buena en el Coach House. Estuvimos un grupo de 24 personas mezcladas entre los adultos y los niños y todo el mundo lo pasamos de maravilla. La comida era muy buena y el servicio estupendo, todas las comidas que lleguen juntos, lo cual no es destacar para un grupo de este tamaño. El precio de las comidas y las bebidas era muy razonable. Un gran bien hecho y gracias a todo el personal. Volveremos sin duda.

The hotel is in the center of Pembroke and offers every Kind of facilities and comfort. The food was excellent either for the dinner or for the breakfast! The room was clean and spacious. I would strongly recommend it!

Decidimos muy tarde en el día de hacer una reserva por cuatro miembros de la familia en el Coach House Pembroke. Cuando llegamos, el restaurante estaba muy lleno, pero nos sentamos inmediatamente. No mucho tiempo después de la camarera venía y educada y eficientemente tomó nuestras bebidas y comida. A menos de quince minutos, y a pesar del restaurante para llevar la comida llegó y fue fantástico. Went here for a birthday meal food was perfect very quick coming out but u couldn't fault the food deserts was lush to child friendly great service lovely restaurant portion size was fab will definitely be going back great value for money even the drinks

Fuimos allí para un almuerzo de Navidad, que era mejor de lo que esperábamos. Tuvimos que pedir más verduras ya que sólo salió con pequeños platos - contenidas 8 coles de Bruselas - entre 6 (pero no trae más - dos veces). Las verduras era un poco pequeño poco hecha de lo que podría haber sido porque pedimos más y que había hecho de prisa pero la carne estaba bien. lo que me sorprendió fue el precio de las bebidas - estaba conduciendo así que pedimos una pinta de soda agua - normalmente obtenga gratis o pagar £1 - no es el £2,60 que cobran. Más de £8 por un vaso de vino rosado, un spritzer y una soda agua. No esperaba que. En general, la comida era buena, hicieron todo lo posible para proporcionar nosotros con variedad de tés, cafés y bebidas al final con preciosa miniatura mince pies - de que no había una escasez. Visitamos como un grupo de cuatro, todos pedimos platos principales diferentes y me hubiera sido muy contentos con cualquiera de ellos. El buen equilibrio de sabores bien preparados. Pedí que verduras y dieron ensalada con la mina sino que tenía mucha importancia.

Great hotel & lovely food, plenty of choice for breakfast too. The food was delicious, we ate there both nights of our stay. We had starters, mains & sweets. Very reasonably priced too. Didn't have to wait long either or inbetween courses.

Mi esposa y yo hemos cenado aquí muchas veces, siempre dar un buen servicio al cliente, es actualmente decorado y las domingo cenas son siempre agradables, lo que sea que usted elija (no hemos probado el pescado). Si que me vi obligado a dar algo constructivo, diría que pocos de sillas y mesas podría hacer con un par de esterillas de cerveza bajo las piernas, un pequeño punto y el suelo es una antigua casa de autobús de esperar. En general, fue una experiencia muy agradable comedor que deseo repetir pronto.

Nos dijeron que este restaurante es impredecible pero para conveniencia sake, decidimos darle una oportunidad. Las patatas estaban aguados y negro, los aros de cebolla no estaban cocinados, pollo era sosa. La tarjeta máquina no funcionaba (aunque nos advirtió que antes nos sentamos), el camarero parecía muy confundido todo el tiempo. No había mucho ambiente, faltaban cosas aunque escribió todo!

El Coach House bien merece una visita, primera clase comida amable personal siempre dispuesto a ayudar, el hotel está impecable 5 estrellas de nuestro grupo de cuatro en nuestra visita de 7 días 17 th 2014 mayo. Sally y gerente bajera Tracy son dos de las personas más amables que conocerás, todos los que trabajaban en el hotel pertenecen a un primera clase equipo, el personal de cocina producir algunas comidas excelentes y una buena opción.

El servicio era bueno y no hubo retraso en espera, pero era entre semana y muy tranquilo. La comida estaba bien pero un poco caro para lo que era comida muy regular. Puede hacer mejor en casa por una fracción del precio, lo cual considero un criterio tal justa : -)

Fuimos a este restaurante en la recomendación de uno de los otros huéspedes en nuestra cama y desayuno. estaba muy lleno, pero no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para sentarse. Sin embargo, se tardaba fir nuestra orden que se han de adoptar. El menú era típico de un restaurante de tipo pub con algunas especialidades en el menú. El tamaño de las porciones eran grandes, pero la comida estaba caliente y bien presentada. Los precios eran muy bueno por lo que tuvimos.

Reservamos una mesa en el restaurante para mis hijas 13 cumpleaños (14 chicas adolescente) para 6 pm de un viernes.

La comida estaba bien. grupo de 9 de nosotros. La Elder camarera fue grosero y triste. sostuvo con uno de nosotros sobre la diferencia de patatas fritas y patatas salteado. Si esto no constituyó una celebración de cumpleaños, habría salimos. No una enorme variedad, pero la comida estaba bien, aunque caro. Este sitio necesita nuevo personal para mantener a la gente a volver. volvería para comida pero, francamente, la señora que nos servía necesita un transplante de personalidad.

Visitamos anoche con amigos y nos decepcionó en general. Nos sentamos y tomamos unas copas primero, que era precioso, pero por desgracia fue el/precios de comida que me decepcionó. Pagamos £5,95 por un plato de hongos de ajo que consistía en unos dos setas en un no muy salsa de ajo y un poco de pan con mantequilla de ajo. Tuve el pollo asado para main- el pollo estaba seco y el tocino quemada. Mi ensalada era aceitosa que luego cubierto todo el plato. patatas fritas estaban bien. Los postres también eran demasiado caros en £4,95 . el personal nos pareció bastante inútil con una señora ser bastante desagradable. no volveremos aquí, que es una pena como amigos han dicho que era bueno la última vez que visitamos.

Mi pareja y yo hemos comido en el Coach House en muchas ocasiones. Nos encantó el ambiente, el servicio, la comida y que se sentía como un restaurante alto final.

We arrived on impulse and the staff were able to offer us a table. We ordered starter and mains. The food was tasty, but I struggled with the portion sizes. I hate leaving food, but there was just too much! A shame really as the hotel restaurant was a lovely place to spend an evening.

Enjoyed a meal for a 40th birthday for 30, food already pre ordered, service very good, food very good, enough veg chips salad etc to go around, would recommend if in the area

I have eaten here a few times and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and facilities. There is not anything else in Pembroke or the Dock that caters enough for Vegetarians, but the Coach House do! Thanks

Visitar la zona por primera vez elegimos el Coach House para una estancia de dos noches. En general, fue una experiencia muy agradable con una habitación limpia y cómoda. Cada miembro del personal que conocimos fue muy amable y educado. Plus y puntos negativos - En el lado positivo, la cena era excelente, prepare comida caliente con mucha variedad en el menú, y no una mesa libre para ser visto. En el lado negativo, aunque el desayuno era delicioso toda la comida fue entregado a la mesa al mismo tiempo, lo que significa que la tostada y la comida preparada fue frío mientras comíamos nuestro cereales y nuestra pequeña mesa para dos fue un poco lleno.

Have had some lovely food, and eaten there on many occasions, great dining room, reasonably priced, but attitude of one member of staff has spoiled our experience more than once, so will not go there again.

Had a lovely meal with friends. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent. The service was first class have been here often and will definitely be going back there.
