Good quality food, friendly staff although service was shocking, only 3 of the 4 of us where having the all you can eat pizza and the staff didn’t even bring out an extra menu wasn’t busy at all so was expecting food to be quicker, not a large variety to eat and meals where poor for the price they were.overall I would say the place is ok for a meal out and could definitely be better.

Never had a sunday roast pork lunch taken to that level, good quality ingredients cooked to perfection, beautiful. Well done to the team. Service was attentive the manager was encouraging the staff and getting stuck in helping them, on a busy bank holiday sunday. The efficiency was refreshing to see. Cant wait to go back. Well done!!

had a really lovely meal here with a collegue, registered my car as did she when we arrive only to find that I was issued a parking fine of 100 pounds a few weeks later . I go to the pub once a week when I stay over in Lincoln for a meal.Parking eye allegedly are taking over 1000 cases to court a week of un assuming customers link me when they are challenged and don't pay the fine. Luckily I have a witness and the pub staff member Antontte was very helfuly in notifing PARKING EYE that I was a customer, had registered my car and even said thank you and paid the bill... Coach and Horse please dump this company for harassing you customers to pay fines inappropriately.

The main issue, it would seem, with the Coach & Horses is that it simply does not have enough customers. At least the interior has not been 'blandified' as is the case with most urban pubs but I attended to enjoy the food. Alas, the bill of fare is too extensive and not everything on it is available. The merry ting of the microwave echoed through the under-used saloon and it was evident that my 'fish' had been both frozen for many moons and microwaved back to 'life' - even the sad Apple and Blackberry crumble with custard was subject to extensive thermo-nuclear activity. Whilst the pub is friendly, and the food mediocre, the price was at least twice the price it should have been.

Local small country pub with absolutely excellent HOME COOKED and freshly prepared food and atmostphere. It has been owned by the couple who run it for about 20 years..I have been for Sunday lunch before and an occasional evening meal any it is ALWAYS excellent so I arranged to have my 70th birthday meal there last week.16 of us from far and wide were treated to fantastic food and service and nobody was disappointed. It is excellent value for money and well worth a visit.I don't think you will be disappointed.

We visited The Ugly Duckling at Caistor Lakes on Sunday and although it was very busy, we were not left disappointed. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The food came out and it was delicious. We asked for some vegetables which was no problem for the staff in the kitchen and front of house. What a lovely place. We will definitely be back 🙂
