Clydebank Leisure Centre Cafe in West Dunbartonshire

Lovely Centre on the bank of the River Clyde. Well maintained with an excellent gym, spin studio fitness studio and other recreational areas. Nice pool. Cafe in reception. Lots of classes on offer.

Great facility, easy to find and plenty of parking. I just dropped off and collected mg daughter for an event.

last Saturday (15/02/2025) me and family went to the the steam room and afterwards my brother felt little sick because he overheated, but one of the lifeguards quickly noticed and came up to see if my brother was okay and went to grab him cold water. We wanted to thank that person, we think his name is Adam, we could be wrong but if that is you we just wanna say a giant thank you Should totally get a raise hahaha

I've been coming here for 6 months now & I thoroughly enjoy Diane's classes. Staff all seem pleasant & toilets all spotlessly clean. Keep up the good work.

Everything is good until the gym, the staff is so rude and judgemental (especially towards teenagers). Have experienced creeps staring at me and other girls… frequently.. so disturbing.

Been at the gym for some time now and all the equipment has been renewed. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Decent facilities but cafe never seems to have anybody serving in it for a tea or coffee when waiting on my child finishing football training. Would be a great addition if open a little later as there is always people sitting in the area when we arrive around 4

I came here for the swimming and sauna, the first thing I noticed is the gym is closed. The steam room was unusable, the pool was closed due to swimming lessons, they charged us fully just for the sauna even though they didn't tell us about the closure of the pool and steam room. Honestly, the toilet was dirty and there was a bad smell. Everything is old fashioned. I won't recommend this place to anyone.

Clean and working facilities with a several pools.

Reception staff are rude, snide and unhelpful and just want to have a chat with each other. Won't be going back to the place.

Very solid leisure centre. Good facilities, good staff. Can't ask anymore than that.

Really good gym but the car park is a disaster. Half the place is taken up with expensive cars taking 2 spaces. You've got elderly and disabled people going to the gym so should be taking as little space as possible so people dont have to walk from the far car park. Half the staff are amazing, the other half dont bother.

Very big let down from the old one you need to close this one asap and reopen the old one old one was so much more fun I will never return to this one

Had an induction for the gym and the gym instructor was amazing. Guided me with the equipment that I was unsure about and showed me various exercises I could do with each equipment. While doing the exercises would also point out which area of the body the exercise targets as well as recommending exercises depending on what area of the body I wanted to focus on. This has now gave me the confidence to go to the gym knowing I can use the equipment and when I’m unsure whether I’m doing it correctly I know that I can ask for help.

This is my first and last visit to the clydebank leisure centre really disappointed with the size of the pools, flumes and wave only get used for aqua disco and weekends, seems clean enough but cafe is shut at 4pm on a Friday and no vending machines for water, the spectator area you can’t see the full pool again not good if you have more than one child in the pool, just all round disappointing rather go further a field so the kids get the enjoyment of the slides and it doesn’t just look like a water feature and parents can have a coffee while they play

Terrible opening times, unhelpful and rude staff at the reception, feels like they are purposely putting people off coming here..... won't be back.

Swimming pool always closed or got lessons

It's a bit of a walk from the Town center it a shuttle bus that's needed otherwise you could get very wet with rain in bad weather

Very poor... The swimming pool is already in bad stage, some of tilles are off also many time I come is only one line open, so we end up like 8 people swim in one line, some people are faster than the other is is chaotic. Gim is alright but I book the induction and no one showed up.

A leisure center with nice view. A lot of activities going on there. My son goes there every week for swimming lessons. Fitness, swimming and some other sports. A wee cafe inside. A place to enjoy the day on a nice weather.

Swimming lessons and other activities should be in separate pool allowing swimmers access to all of main pool,it’s what we pay for. A shuttle bus would be a good idea too,it’s a fair walk to and from town centre.

Brilliant. Staff helpful. Loads of lockers. The equipment seemed modern and in good condition. Air con good. Not only gym and swimming but conference rooms available also. Cafe area was okay. Coffee always nice and snacks available.

Pointless flumes open for one hour on a Saturday if your lucky. Pre covid it was fantastic. Standing in the showers with all the other swimmers and families waiting for the shutters to open due to covid restrictions . Feels like a scene from a Steven Spielberg film about someone's list.

Pool far too small, halls used for fitness classes need cleaning even first classes in the morning, not just brushed but a mop wouldn't go amiss either

Didn’t enjoy my swim it was half term School holidays for the kids but no slide open or wave machine and didnt. Know could book kids pool seperate got put in lane swimming with my 11 year old son and as soon as stepped in an old woman starts moaning at me as i wasn’t going round in Circles following the one way! We were only in for his sake and a splash around. Restrictions every where else are over should be same for here won’t be back until all facilities are open and a better playful environment for children that it should be

Great gym.Brilliant variety of classes. Terrific staff team and a great location. Prices for membership are really good,especially compared to private Liesure and Sports facilities.

Clydebank gyms nice and well equipped and staff are really good. But they still persist with this rigid booking system which means you cant turn up when you want like pure gym and Allander gyms let you do. And the steam rooms reopened there but only about half the week so i can't use it in the afternoons or weekends despite paying for it so time to change gyms to those more customer friendly ones . Ive asked them to change things Shame nice facility but not well managed.

Been going for a month now.. Would have been 5 stars but the water cooler for the gym members isnt easy to access and the water is room temperature... A water cooler in the gym would make this place amazing... Far better than any other gym in Clydebank I've been to.

I don't rate the pools for families, ok if you just want to go for a swim but flume and wave machine seems to be regularly out of service. Preferred the old leisure centre for taking the family.

The staff went above and beyond what I'd expected. Definitely recommend the centre.

I have booked the Family Bubble swim and it is a very fun activity to do with your young children. The center is very well equipped and connected with transports.

Easy access, great facilities including swimming pool and basketball courts and other sports.

A great size of pool for just swimming and a great wee pool for kids playing. There is a flume aswell where you can usually see the kids coming down the flume but it wasn't working yesterday. Kids still loved it though. Very clean and loads of changing lockers. Brilliant showers aswell.

Boring pools for kids flume only open certain time

Why is the kids bit not open all the time? It didn't say on the planning application that the management will pick and choose random hours for the kids bit to be open? Weekday mornings, surprisingly a busy time for pre school toddlers??? The main kids pool is to deep for our toddler, waste of a trip. Yet again public purse spending without public put first.

Cant really do much at moment as its locked down but nice walk along clydeside and a lot to see

The pool is fine, I go to the swimming club and going there quite often I think that the wave pool should be bigger, I have had my leg stuck in the wave vent before.

Pool is rather cool and not nearly as much for kids to do, compared to the old Playdrome

Great new swimming pool. The slides were unfortunately closed for refurbishment however looked amazing. My son goes with my dad a lot and was it was my first time and would recommend it

Working hours not great for working people, especially main swimming pool. No rest area next to sauna and steamroom. Overall good place.

Been a number of times, uaually good. Today the teaching pool, kids slide and wave pool were off. No explanation of reason or no discount for lack of services. Half of the showers were also broken

Great wee swimming pool for all ages. They have a slide with disco lights and music selection at the start, a wave pool, a baby pool and slide, a toddler pool and a big pool. The changing facilities are very clean and comfortable. Will be going back again soon.

Great facility. What an improvement on the old leisure centre.

First time visiting, just for the swimming. Counter staff friendly, could do with better signage once in pool changing area for showers. Once at pools, disappointed that 2/3 of kids pool roped off for lessons and half of main pool roped off for lessons too. Maybe admission should have been half price as only half facilities available.

Great new leisure centre however Sunday afternoon kids pool full of families having fun and with no notice two thirds of pool closed of as there was a group coming in not great value for families who paid full price for amenities

Good facilities, but not the best opening hours.

Fantastic facility - we are nearer Helensburgh, but find the facilities there lacking. We loved the wave pool, and the flume was a huge hit! Only negative was that the music was too loud - hard to hear ourselves, and we couldn't properly hear the themed music that was playing inside the flume as we went down.

Overall it is a very tidy and modern place, the gym and pool are of a good quality and the place gives off a friendly atmosphere. Although last time I was swimming the camera that takes pictures of you going down the slide wasn't working but that is the only small problem I have found with the place. There is also WiFi and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Good soft play for the kids but parking is a nightmare

1 pool was closed, the chute and wave machine broken AGAIN, the was a dangerous amount of swimmers admitted- must have broken some sort of Health and safety legislation. Then swimming club came in and shortened an already packed pool into 3/4 size. No chance of swimming without touching someone else. Bring back Playdrome, wasnt perfect but in comparison it was 5 STAR!!!!!
