Cluck Fried Chicken in North Devon

The best burger I have eaten, all the smash burgers and chicken burger were delicious, seasoned and served with a smile. What a view as well, a visit here can’t be missed!

Genuinely left our Cornish trip early to make sure we could get our cluck fix. Jesus Mary mother of god. The burgers just get better and better. We had a double smash and a buffalo chicken burger. Just wow. Keep doing what you are doing guys. You are the best!!

Lovely evening at the campsite listening to a great music set whilst enjoying a great burger and some loaded fries. Food was excellent much enjoyed by Issy Graham and I. If your staying near by a must visit.

The smash burgers here are to die for, definitely the best I have had. I visited last year when camping nearby and made sure I went again this year. The staff are really friendly too, lady with very short hair is so lovely, exactly what you want from staff taking your order. We had to wait about half an hour but there was a really nice vibe and live music, so it was fine. Worth the wait! One of the people in our group is very particular about food and was buzzing after eating here! If you’re in Croyde make sure you find this place!

Sitting outside with a beautiful view and freshly prepared food, perfect. Probably seasonal, but we’ll worth a visit. We’ll definitely go back.

I’d give this a higher rating if I could. The food was incredible, not to mention they cater for Gluten Free and we’re knowledgeable about allergens. This is huge and was so great to see. The location is awesome and we enjoyed our food sat outside on a nice summers evening. Such a vibe. These guys are doing fried chicken right, and are clearly passionate about the food they serve. Be prepared to potentially queue if you get there later, but the wait is worth it, I promise.

We came here as the nearby Stoned Pizza had over an hour wait for orders. The Cluck crew offer a friendly service which was also swift and we only had a short wait for our food. Chicken burgers had thick and crispy batter with fresh salad and a sweet soft bun. The classic Chips were also freshly fried, crispy and had a nice spicy kick to them. They have a small selection of craft beers but only licensed to sell them on certain days. Decent selection of soft drinks though. All in all excellent all round. Not the cheapest but worth the cost for the service and quality, glad to have missed out on the pizza!

It’s a must on a Wednesday evening during the summer! Great food! BYOB! Music with stunning views over the Bay!

Incredible chicken burgers! We tried the chicken Caesar burger specials and we had some chicken tenders with buffalo sauce, blue cheese sauce and spring onions. SO SO GOOD!!! We can’t wait to come back in 2 weeks. Thanks so much guys, smashed your first week back xx

What a find! Croyde has so many fantastic pop up eateries in the summer, but Cluck Chicken was our family's absolute favourite! We had the Buffalo Burger, Sriracha Honey Burger & Buffalo fries & they were utterly delicious. Staff were really cheerful & friendly & they had live music which just added to the evening. We ate & watched the sun go down over the beach....perfect.

Husband said it was the best burger he’s ever had! Fries were amazingly good too ,I went for the kids meal which was super tasty and fair value for £6. Only 3 chicken nuggets so probably suitable for younger children or smaller appetite’s. Would recommend if in Croyde, it was busy the day we went but only had around a 15 min wait time. Would recommend and will come again!

Took the kids here after tasting the fries on a previous visit. My son described these as "the best fries he has ever had" so my daughter was keen to see what the fuss was all about. I had the Buffalo Burger, my son the Cheeseburger and my daughter the kids dippers. Wow. All some tasty. We even went back the next evening for a repeat visit. This time I had a more Asian inspired Chicken burger, again delicious. Totally recommend this place as a must visit when in Croyde. Plenty of parking, seating and amazing views over the beach.

Where do I start with this absolute gem of a gastronomic delivery wagon. Went in for an all in 7 and my cluck was it an all in. It had eggs, it had bacon, it had beans, it had an cheesy twist that was to do die for and I’m pretty sure it also had a check for my student loans in there aswell. Service was incredible, everyone made me feel like I was part of the party service that was cluck. Obviously went back in the evening for a classic cluck chicken burger special. Oh my I can’t oversell this enough treated myself to some hash browns as extra thinking they would calm my nerves after a serotonin blaster of a chicken burger. But did it send me back to ground level… you know it didn’t. The hash browns that were cooked better than an Gordon Ramsay Christmas special were paired with mozzarella and a homemade buffalo sauce that should be bottled and shelved in every supermarket in the country by yesterday. Cannot recommend enough Special shout-out to Pete for keeping it real. Please give me a PO Box to send my pay cheque straight to.

Absolutely gorgeous burgers and the best we have eaten! The sides were equally as lovely and the smashed cucumber was devine! We visit Croyde often so will be returning for sure.

Very late to the party on this but we found this place last August - there were 8 of us and we managed to eat their twice. Both times it was excellent food and run by the loveliest couple. Go and enjoy!

We were holidaying in Devon when we came across Cluck Fried Chicken just up the road from where were staying. I have to say it was hands down the best chicken burger I’ve ever eaten! The burgers are lovingly constructed rather than just slapped together like most places. All four of us ordered different burgers and we all had the same reaction. The fries were also amazing! It was so good we ate there on the Saturday then went back for more the following Monday. Safe to say it has ruined all other chicken burgers for us. I personally don’t eat beef burgers but am always envious of how amazing they look compared their chicken counterparts - not a problem with Cluck! Best. Burgers. Ever. I just wish there was one in Kent!

Burgers are absolutely brilliant - genuinely the best chicken burgers I’ve had. Crispy and juicy with great sauces and accompaniments! I think the Korean is my favourite and the pickle fries are amazing. Smashed cucumbers are genius too. Great stuff!

Saw a few signs for Cluck in Croyde and decided to try it out…can’t book so just turn up, party of 6 and 2 small dogs. Quite busy but managed to set us up a table by the entrance which was perfect. Really tasty well...
